Description

Yuqi tries to get her fathers attention so she fakes a kidnapping. All is going to plan, until her car gets stolen while she's in the trunk.

Foreword

"So let me get this straight, you-," The blonde-haired woman pointed at the girl who was now tied to the chair in her office, "-thought it was a good idea to fake a kidnapping for attention. So, you tied yourself up in the trunk of your car."

"Which you stole. Yes," The girl replied.

The blonde sighed from frustration; she could not deal with this right now. She had a job to do, and the cops probably thought she was the kidnapper. She should have been more careful in checking the registration plates. Who could have assumed the car belonged to Song Yuqi, the daughter of the wealthiest man in the world.

"Why would you ever fake a kidnapping?" Soyeon asked.

"Why would you steal cars?" Yuqi challenged.

Soyeon was growing more frustrated with the girl. She was barely answering any of her questions and it was giving her a headache.

"Whatever the boss will be here soon to take care of you," Soyeon eventually replied tired by the girl's behavior.

Yuqi froze, her eyes widening in fear, "What do you mean take care of me?" she asked with a shaky voice.

Soyeon smirked at her, "What do you think?"

Soyeon smiled as the girl trembled, honestly no one was coming but she wanted to scare the girl a bit. She would let her go, obviously, but the girl would have to keep her face a secret. If Yuqi told the cops about who she had run into Soyeon would be in huge trouble. Seeing as she had been considered dead after she escaped prison and faked her death.

Stealing cars and selling the parts was what made her a living especially since she did it as the leader of a well-known gang in Seoul. The cops had been trying to take them down for years and with the little information from Yuqi, they would eventually piece it together. There was only so much a mole in the police force could do. If she was found to be alive then they would involve the higher ups. Soojin would definitely kill her if she did not find a way to keep the girl quiet.

Yuqi was shaking in her seat, the girl was terrified, and it almost made Soyeon laugh. She did not want Yuqi to see she was just messing with her, so she kept a cold gaze on the girl.

"What is your name?" Yuqi managed to ask between her shaky breaths.

Soyeon raised her brow at the girl, "You don't need to know."

Yuqi just frowned at the woman, "I would like to know the name of the last person I see, before I die."

Soyeon couldn't hold it anymore as she laughed at the girl. She burst into an even louder laughter when she saw the girl's confused but irritated face.

"I'm sorry it's just-," Soyeon tried to calm down, "-your face just now."

"You know you are being awfully rude to someone who would just like to know your name," Yuqi scoffed.

Soyeon smirked at the girl, "I don't have to play nice with you, sweetheart."

Yuqi blushed at the name and looked down. Maybe she was a bit too attracted to the woman who had stolen her car (and basically kidnapped her) only to then tell her she would be taken out by whoever was coming to kill her. Yeah, maybe Shuhua was right, Yuqi is crazy. But in her defense, she had never seen a girl as pretty as the one standing in front of her now.

In fact, Yuqi could not figure out why this girl had caught her attention. She was a literal criminal, but Yuqi saw her and completely froze. If she hadn't, she would have been able to get away and go to the cops. She was nearly out of the garage until the blonde ran into her and Yuqi was struck by the beauty in front of her so much so that she became paralyzed. Immediately the blonde went into action and knocked Yuqi out. If only Yuqi had not gone into a gay panic in the middle of her escape.

Shuhua would have called her an idiot, which of course she was in the situation. But damn the blonde really was the prettiest thing Yuqi had ever seen. Even now she could just stare, and truth be told she was only aggravating the woman because Yuqi thought she looked absolutely breathtaking when she glared at her. Yeah, maybe she had a concussion from being knocked out.

Yuqi cleared , "It would just be nice to know the identification of the person who has mistakenly kidnapped me." And the person who will be my future wife.

"You know I won't tell you, purely because you might tell the cops if you do get out of here," Soyeon answered.

Yuqi frowned, "and if I don't? What will be the harm?"

Soyeon sighed she was seriously frustrated with this girl, "Listen, the truth is there is no one coming to finish you off and honestly? I don't have the time or patience to deal with you right now. So, why don't we make a deal?"

Yuqi perked up at the sound of that, "What kind of deal?"

"I will let you go with your car if you promise not to mention a word of what happened tonight," Soyeon eventually offered.

Yuqi thought about it for some time before she answered, "How about you let me go, you can keep the car, but you give me your name."

Soyeon laughed, "I'm not giving you my name, sweetheart. Take the deal or leave it."

"If I leave it?"

"You'll have to see," Soyeon shrugged.

"Why can't you just tell me your name? It's not like I will say anything to anyone," Yuqi asked, she really wanted to put a name to the woman's face.

Soyeon stood from her desk chair and walked to Yuqi, "Why are you so interested anyways? We will not be seeing each other again after this."

Yuqi looked up at the woman, "Maybe, I want to see you again."

Soyeon's eyes widened in shock, was this girl seriously flirting with her right now?

Yuqi saw the woman's slight blush and chuckled, "I just want to put a name to the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, is that a crime?"

Oh, my god. The girl was flirting with Soyeon, and she did not know how to respond. Was the girl crazy? Soyeon had literally stolen her car and knocked her out. She must be crazy.

"Are you crazy?" Soyeon asked the girl.

Yuqi looked at the girl, if this was going to be her last time seeing her, she was going to shoot her shot, "Maybe, but honestly you are the prettiest girl I have ever seen and if I don't at least get your name I might die."

Soyeon was just shocked by the situation as a whole. This was not what she was expecting from the incredibly wealthy and partly famous Song Yuqi. Forget the fact that no one had ever shown this kind of interest in her before, she was definitely not suited to the standards of someone like Yuqi. Was she messing with her? Trying to psyche her out?

"What use will my name even be to you. You will never be able to find me again you know?"

Yuqi frowned at this, "then give me your number too!"

"You are unbelievable," Soyeon groaned.

Yuqi beamed at the woman, "did your license get suspended for driving women crazy? Is that why you have to steal cars?

Soyeon cringed at the girl's cheesy line, "That didn't even make sense."

Yuqi pouted, "I have another one! "

"Please, God, no!"

"Are you a parking ticket because you have FINE written all over you!" Yuqi said very proudly.

Soyeon shook her head, "If I give you my name will you stop?"

Yuqi smiled widely, "YES!"

Soyeon shook her head but struggled to contain her smile at the strange girl, "Soyeon. My name is Soyeon."

Yuqi smiled softly at the woman almost making her blush, "That is the prettiest name I have ever heard."

Soyeon shook her head at the girl before she moved to untie her, "This will be the last we see of each other, Ms. Song."

"What happened to 'sweetheart?'" the girl pouted.

Soyeon raised her brow at the now free girl, "Sorry, darling, didn't realize it was how I'm supposed to address you."

Yuqi stood taller than the girl, but still felt a bit intimidated by the aura that surrounded Soyeon.

"You can call me whatever you want as long as it is not Ms. Song."

"Mmm, I will not be calling you anything soon because we won't have any contact with each other after this."

Yuqi frowned at the woman's words, "Why? It's not like we can't see each other, right?"

Soyeon had a long day, and she was exhausted, all she wanted was to bring the car back and go to bed. The problems that came along with it was unwanted. But the girl was looking at her as if she had run over her puppy when she told her they would not see each other again. It was the truth, but why was she feeling guilty from the girl's expression.

"Yuqi, I have no contact with anyone. Do not feel offended."

Yuqi continued to pout at the girl, "But I don't have to be just anyone."

Soyeon shook her head, "You are free to go. Enjoy your life Song Yuqi."

Soyeon moved the girl towards the door of the garage where two women stood, "Do not feel scared they will take you home, but they will make sure you can't see where you've been."

Yuqi was still upset that she could not see her again so before she left, she was not going to miss the chance. She immediately turned around and caught Soyeon off-guard when she kissed her.

Soyeon was frozen and unsure of what to do, she was shocked, but she leaned into the kiss. It felt nice.

Yuqi smiled when she felt Soyeon kiss her back. She moved back with a giant smile at the woman, "It was nice to meet you Soyeon-unnie! I will be seeing you soon!"

Yuqi skipped over to the two women who also appeared to be in shock by what they've just seen. They lead her into a car with blocked out windows she would not be able to see through. Yuqi was rather sure she would be seeing Soyeon again. At least she hoped she would be able to because that was Yuqi's first kiss, and she was sure now that this was the love of her life.

Soyeon stood there in shock. Did that really just happen? Soyeon knew she would get too many questions when Minnie and Miyeon returned so she went to lock herself up in her room. Soyeon put some pajamas on before she lay in bed. She touched her lips, recalling the memory of when Yuqi kissed her. The girl was crazy, but damn. Soyeon laughed at the events of the night, maybe stealing that car was the best decision she'd ever made.

Before she went to sleep, she sent Soojin a message.

Windy

Get me everything you can on Song Yuqi.

Cherry

What? Why?

Windy

You wouldn't believe me if I told you.

Soyeon turned her phone off before Soojin could respond and closed her eyes, maybe she'd dream of the strange girl.

Yuqi in the meantime thanked the girls who had driven her to just down the street, she ignored their questioning and confused glances as she walked away. Well, skipped was more accurate. She felt as if she was on cloud 9 and nothing could bring her mood down.

She had her first kiss with the most beautiful person she has ever seen. She would say that her evening was rather well-accomplished. Although she did not get the attention of her father that she wanted, this was a way better turn-out. She entered the gates, all the guards looking at her in shock.

Right. Yuqi forgot she was supposed to be kidnapped. She sighed at the lecture she was about to receive. As soon as she entered the foyer her father stormed out of the living room with a very familiar look in his eyes. Not worry or relief that his daughter was home but anger.

"Song Yuqi! What the hell have you caught yourself up in?" he shouted.

Yuqi flinched at his loud voice, "What do you mean?" She tried to feign innocence.

Big mistake, his face turned so red she thought he would explode, "You will not be leaving this house for pleasure. You will go to your university classes and Namjoon and Seokjin will drive you straight home. I'm done with your little games, Yuqi. What happens when word of this gets out?" Yuqi did not even get to respond as her father stomped to his office and slammed the door shut.

Yuqi released the breath she was holding before she smiled towards the bodyguards who were trying not to look at her sympathetically. They felt bad for Yuqi, she was aware of that, they understood she just wanted attention from her father. He was not always such a cold man, but as soon as his business took off, he became cruel.

Yuqi immediately headed to her room. As soon as she had closed her door, she let out a squeal and jumped on her bed. She was not lying when she said nothing could dampen her mood. Her plans to try see the criminal as soon as possible would be slightly hindered now, but she knew exactly who to call. She would call Shuhua in the morning and immediately set their plan into action.

Yuqi got ready for bed and climbed in she was not sure if it would all work out the way she wanted, but she had a feeling it would be worth a try.

One week later

It was around midnight and the once abandoned streets were buzzing with excitement. People were scattered around cars gearing up for the final race of the night. Standing next to the freshly painted yellow Toyota Supra MK IV was Soyeon. She was rather proud of her car that had never lost her a race, not to mention she had worked hard on some new features to the engine to ensure she could not lose.

The girl was checking the engine one last time before she would get behind the wheel and mentally prepare herself for another win. She was so concentrated on making sure everything was in place she did not notice Soojin approaching her.

"I didn't know you'd race tonight," the woman spoke leaning against the now closed hood.

Soyeon looked at Soojin. The woman was beautiful, she was aware and the eyes that followed her everywhere she went just proved it. Still, Soyeon had never seen her that way. They were best friends, well, family. Growing up together in a pretty ed up environment had brought them closer.

Soyeon laughed lightly, "I wasn't going to, but wanted to clear my head. You better have bet on me."

Soojin laughed at the short woman, "Who else, no one will beat you. I'm actually surprised so many newbies are willing to take you on."

Soyeon shrugged, "They want to prove something."

"Mmm, so I heard from Minnie-unnie the reason you wanted information on Song Yuqi," Soojin smirked.

Soyeon looked away in embarrassment. She should have known those two would rat her out on what they saw before the girl left the workshop.

Soyeon cleared , "I have no idea what you're talking about."

Soyeon shook her head at her stubborn friend, "It's okay to like someone, you know? You have never shown interest in anyone. It's nice to see you opening up to even considering a relationship."

Soyeon scoffed, "Who said anything about a relationship?"

"Seriously? You're telling me I did all that digging just for you to not take that adorable girl on a date?" Soojin raised her brow at Soyeon.

"What did you find anyway?" Soyeon asked.

Soojin's eyes flitted behind Soyeon for a moment before she smiled almost triumphantly, "That you won't have to go very far because your Romeo just showed up.

Soyeon was shocked by Soojin's words and turned around so quickly she felt dizzy. And true to her word there stood Song Yuqi. Looking far too comfortable surrounded by known criminals in the city. Soyeon almost shook her head at the girl's persistence, she did promise to see her again. Soyeon had not even noticed the smile that had taken over her features. While Soojin just laughed at her reaction to Yuqi.

Just as Soyeon considered approaching the girl, their eyes locked. As if Yuqi could feel Soyeon's stare. Yuqi beamed at the sight of the familiar blonde and made her way over to the women. Yuqi smiled at Soojin and proceeded to greet her.

"Hello! I'm Yuqi."

Soojin held out her hand to the girl to shake, "I'm Soojin, nice to meet you in person."

Yuqi's expression turned into one of confusion, "In person?"

"Yes, seeing as you're all over the news with your father most of the time," Soojin laughed.

"Aah, I see," Yuqi nodded turning to the blonde who still stood quietly next to her, "I promised I would see you again, didn't I?"

Soojin wanted to laugh at the girl's enthusiasm in talking to Soyeon. This was exactly the person Soyeon needed in her life.

"YAH! Song Yuqi! I break you out of your fortress of a house and then you ABANDON me around a bunch of criminals!" Shuhua said far too loudly directing a glare at Yuqi before turning to the two women, "No offense."

"None taken," Soojin mused.

Shuhua was slightly stunned by the beautiful woman in front of her, "Yuqi is this the woman you're going to marry?" she said pointing at Soojin who was watching with full amusement as Shuhua looked her up and down.

Yuqi rolled her eyes, "No."

Shuhua nodded, "Good. Anyway, I'm Yeh Shuhua, best friend to this idiot who got herself kidnapped by your friend, but you can call me your future wife." Shuhua took the woman's hand and bowed before kissing it.

Soojin just laughed, "Nice to meet you Yeh Shuhua."

Yuqi just chuckled at her friend who was flirting with Soojin before she turned her attention back to Soyeon. The blonde looked absolutely breath-taking under the city lights. Yuqi wanted to take a picture of her to relive the moment later on.

Soyeon noticed the stare on her and turned away from her now blushing friend only to meet Yuqi's eyes once again, "It's rude to stare, you know?"

Yuqi ignored her comment, "I promised to see you again, didn't I?"

Soyeon sighed, "You did."

Yuqi's eyes glanced towards the yellow car the blonde was leaning against, "You racing?"

Soyeon nodded her head, "Yip, it's the final race for tonight."

"You must be pretty good then."

Soyeon smirked, "Sweetheart, I'm the best."

"I won't believe it until I see it." Yuqi challenged.

Soyeon smiled at the girl's challenge, "Guess I'll have to prove it then."

"Guess you will."

"Oh my gosh, Song Yuqi are you flirting right now?" Shuhua said sarcastically completely embarrassing her friend.

Yuqi blushed before she pouted, "I hate you."

Shuhua beamed at the younger pulling her into a tight hug trying to kiss her cheeks, "No you don't, you looove me!"

Yuqi giggled as she tried to shoo her friend away from her. Completely unaware of the death glare Shuhua was receiving. Shuhua was fully conscious of Soyeon's stare, while Yuqi was oblivious to the jealousy growing in the blonde. Soojin was just laughing at the whole situation, it was definitely something she was going to tease Soyeon about later.

Shuhua pulled away completely satisfied by the reaction in the blonde. Shuhua loved Yuqi, they were like sisters, and she would always protect her. She was not just going to let Yuqi get involved with someone who was not going to treat her right or someone who barely showed any interest. She was especially cautious of Soyeon, seeing as she is a criminal.

Shuhua was not necessarily fond of the idea of Yuqi dating a criminal, but there was only so much she could do. It was Yuqi's life, and she had to make her own decisions even if they were the wrong ones. She would protect her from falling to hard into a one-sided relationship or crush, but if the criminal was as in love with Yuqi she would not get in the way. Shuhua would just have to keep an eye on her.

Yuqi turned to Soyeon once she was out of Shuhua's grip, "When does the race start?"

"In five minutes." Soojin replied while Soyeon seemed to be gathering herself.

Yuqi hummed, "good luck then, I suppose we should get out of your way. We'll see you when it's over?"

Soyeon nodded, "Mmm, or?"

Yuqi looked at her confused, "Or?"

Soyeon moved closer to Yuqi, her heels making her stand at the same height, as she traced her finger along Yuqi's exposed collarbone, "You could ride with me."

Yuqi couldn't breathe with Soyeon so close, "Wi-with you?" she stuttered.

Soyeon chuckled at the girl's reaction, "Mmhm."

Yuqi just nodded her head unable to form any coherent sentence.

"You never let anyone ride with you?" Soojin butted in all too amused to see Soyeon acting out of the jealousy she felt earlier.

"Is it even safe?" Shuhua asked not wanting to see her friend in an accident if something went wrong.

Yuqi was still mesmerized by Soyeon and couldn't really hear the current conversation.

Soyeon smirked before pulling Yuqi close to her by her waist, "I will keep her safe, no need to worry. I will treat you to dinner when I win."

"You seem awfully confident you will win," Yuqi finally managed to break from her daze as she looked at the woman holding her close.

Soyeon laughed looking straight into Yuqi's eyes, "I never lose. Never."

Soojin interrupted the moment, "It's true, anyway you two gear up. I'll keep this one here out of trouble 'til it's over," she said nodding her head in Shuhua's direction.

As soon as Shuhua and Soojin were out of sight she held Yuqi's hand and led her to the passenger seat as she held the door open for her and helped her in. She made her way over to the driver's seat to see Yuqi had stretched over the console to open the door from the inside for her. Soyeon grinned at the gesture.

Once seated she put her seat belt on making sure Yuqi had done the same. She could see the girl was nervous from the way her hands trembled and her eyes were flitting around.

Soyeon took the girls hands and laced their fingers together, "It's going to be okay. Just relax and enjoy the rush. Don't think too much about it."

Yuqi smiled gratefully at Soyeon, squeezing her hand before letting go so she could start the car and make her way to the starting line. Yuqi gazed at Soyeon who was fully focused now as she revved the engine and ignored the other cars on either side of them. She was looking straight ahead at the road as if nothing else mattered.

Yuqi was mesmerized by the blonde and could not believe she had never seen or encountered her. She was definitely not regretting getting Shuhua to help break out of the house without the guards knowing. Sure, her father would kill her when he realizes she's not there, but right now as she was watching Soyeon behind the wheel, she did not feel scared at all.

Right before the flag hit the ground Soyeon winked at Yuqi before she took off.
