Sol's Pov

My feelings and hopes go up and down as she doesn't know that I like her as a lover. She's been my friend since middle school and she followed me all the way to college. We're like two peas in a pod. But recently, she's been going on blind dates and I don't get to see her much because of it. But the next day, she always tells me what happened during the date. Which hurts me. At first, when I first met her, she's the bright and goofy girl that she needs someone to lean on. I never thought I'd be her friend when she reached out to me that one day.

"Psst." I looked to my right as she gave me a small wave and pointed at my phone

I looked at my phone as there's a message.

I asked someone for it. And they have each other.

They don't do homework as seriously as I do.

I put my phone down as I saw her looked at me and mouthed "you know?" I nod

I set my phone face down and looked at the teacher who was teaching.

Maybe I was a bit too harsh..

I thought as I took a peek at her and saw her sad pout while drawing circles over and over again. I smiled and looked at the backboard.

School finished as I walked out of the school grounds and into the sidewalk. I put on my headphones as I heard

"Yoon So!"

I turned and saw her running towards me

"Where are you going?" She asked as she hugs me while I was shocked by her actions

Why is she hugging me?

"I'm going home." I said as I took out one of my earbuds while she lets go of the hug and stand in front of me

"What are you listening to?"

"Uh.. my playlist?"

"What songs do you like?"

"Um.. why are you asking so many questions?" I asked as she smiles

"Cause I wanna be your friend." She said as I smiled and walked ahead

"Yah~ wait for me." She whined as I didn't listen and put back my earbuds and kept walking.

I saw the corner of my right eye as she was walking and texting someone on her phone. I looked forward as I saw a person walking towards us. I quickly stood in front of her, making her bump into me and making the person walk around us. She looked at me as I looked at her but quickly looked away. She looked at the person who passed us and looked at me.

"T-thanks." She said as I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Watch where you're going. Don't text and walk. You'll trip and break your phone." I said looking away as she smiled

"Are you worried about me?" She asked tilting her head slightly to the right

"Why would I when you are this clumsy?" I said as she pouted

"I'm not that clumsy." She whines

"Sure you aren't." I said as she continued pouting as we walked.

"Yoon Sol?"

"Hm?"

"Are you tired of me?" She asked, holding my hand as I looked at her

"Why are you asking such a question?"

"Mmm.. I'm just asking because my friends say that your facial expression says so." She said pouting as she draws circles on my palm

"I'm not tired of you. I won't be."

"That's a relief." She said as she hugs me

"I don't know what I would do without you. You're the only one who knows me the best." She said as I smiled

"I love you." She said as she looked at me in the eyes while I could feel my heart beating fast and my face getting hot

"I-I love you too." I manage to say as she smiled

What is this?

"Ahhh.. we're almost done with high school. Graduation is almost here.." She said as she stretched

"Y-Yea."

"What do you think you want to major in?"

"Somewhere in art. Probably sculpture?"

"Sculpture? You like to make things in clay?"

"Yea.. remember? I made your favorite character out of clay when I had art class in middle school?"

"Oh yea.. that was cute. Thanks." She said as I chuckled

"Of course. I think I'd like to major in sculpture, so my art can go in the exhibition someday."

"Wow. Sounds like it'll be a lot of work." She said I nod

"What about you? What do you want to major in?" I asked her as she pouted and begin to think

"Mmm.. I don't know yet.. maybe I'll follow you and see what I'll like to do after."

"Y-you sculpturing?" I asked as I burst out laughing as she pouted

"Why are you laughing? It sounds fun." She said as I wiped my laughing tears.

"I never thought you would want to make your hands dirty."

"I know. I'll be ready for it." She said as I smile and patted her head

"You'll do great, don't let anyone stop you from dreaming." I said as she pouted

"What do you mean dreaming? I'm not. I'm being serious." She said as I started laughing again.

She stood up as she started to walk away.

"Where are you going?" I asked as she turned and glared at me

"Home." She said as she turned and walked away.

I stood up and picked up my backpack.

"Wait for me." I smiled as she looked back and started running

"Yah! Get back here!" I shouted as I began to chase her.

"Sol, my entry exam scores are here."

"Oh? I got mine too." I said as I took mine out of my backpack

"Are we gonna open it together?" She asked as I nod

"Sure. I haven't seen mine yet." I said as she smiles

"Okay, ready.. 3, 2, 1, go!" She counted down as we both unfolded the paper and put our paper side to side.

"Congratulations Seo Jiwan---" she screamed in happiness as she jumps up and down, but stopped and looked at mine

"Congratulations Yoon Sol--" She holds my hand and jumps up and down as I just smile at her reaction.

"Yah.. What's up with your reaction? Have you already seen it?" She asked as I smiled

"Yah~~ Why did you lie to me?" She said as she hits my shoulder as I scoffed smiled

"Cause your reaction is cute." I blurted out as I stopped smiling and realized what I said while she laughs

"Of course, what do you mean? I'm always cute." She said as I let out a small sigh of relief.

She didn't get what I mean by that..

"Should we go somewhere to eat and celebrate?"

"Ne."

We went to a nearby bar-restaurant as we ordered some pork belly and soju.

"Mmm.. This is soo tasty." She said as I looked at her while flipping the porks on the pan

"Sol, you should eat too." She said as she picked up a slice of pork and passed it to me

Are we acting like a couple now?

"Mmm. It's good." I said as I ate it

"Right?" She said as she smiled

She pours soju into our cups as she passed it to me

"Here. Let's clink and drink." She said as I smiled and picked up my glass.

"To us for passing our exam!" She said

"To us." I said as we clinked and drink

"Kkkkk (The after sound when they drink) So good." She said as I smiled

"Eat some more." I said as I passed some pork over to her bowl

"Thank you."

"Mmm.. Let's go drink some more. ExCuSe Me! Can we get some more--"

"That's enough drinking Jiwan." I said as I stopped her and put her hand down.

"Mmm.. But I want some more." She said as I shook my head.

"You drank enough already, you should know your drinking limit." I said as she shook her head

"I drink... however many I can..." She manages to say

"You drank like 3 already.. That's enough."

"Mmm.. NO!" She shouted as I covered and bowed to the people around us.

Oh my goodness, she's loud

"Jiwan, stop shouting." I said as she moved my hand

"But I want more." She whined as she pouted

"Okay, okay, let's go to your place and drink some more.. How about that?" I said

"Okay, Let's do that." She said as she stood up and almost tripped while I saw and was about to catch her but she caught herself.

I took her purse and left the money on the table as I guided her to the ex
