Recovery was their worst nightmare.

Dami was totally closed off after that day. No matter how hard the girls tried to break her shell, she was just stuck in the corner of her safety shield.

When she woke up three days later in the hospital, she said something that shocked everyone in the room.

“I didn’t die. Why did not I die… I should’ve left…”

No one dared to answer her, everyone kept their silence until Yoohyeon decided to say something.

“I didn’t allow you to die, why are you trying to then?”

Dami made a promise to Yoohyeon before in the past that if she were to ever take her life, she needs to go through Yoohyeon first. This might sound stupid, but who would ever tell someone when she wants to take their own life right? But Dami kept her promise all those year, there were times that everything was too hard on her and she really wants to find an outlet and she would always end up in Yoohyeon’s arms crying out.

Dami smiled sadly at Yoohyeon words before answering

“Sorry… I didn’t have time to think”

Months later, Yoohyeon finally found out what had happened, and she was utterly shocked at the revelation.

Dami’s mother passed away and her brother decided to call her after all the funeral services finished and told her that she is the ultimate cause of the death of their mother.
