This was the first time in a while Irene was dying to get the night over so she could already see Seulgi again.

She woke up bright and early the following day. It was automatic how a smile quickly appeared in her face the moment she opened her eyes.

Irene was about to put some lotion on her hands after she finished applying some lip gloss, but she remembered Seulgi liking the smell of her hands.

—————

Irene couldn’t help but let out a skip in her step while walking towards the Huluhulu ‘Ula’ula Cafe. Her eyes quickly spotted Seulgi the moment she got inside.

‘Hmm, another black shirt. Maybe I can ask her if this is her favorite color.’, Irene thought, as she noticed Seulgi was always wearing a black shirt.

She suddenly had an idea to surprise Seulgi. She quietly walked past Seulgi’s table and behind the waitress talking to Seulgi.

Irene was successful in creeping up behind Seulgi’s table. She covered her eyes with her hands.

“Guess who?~~ I made my hands smell extra fishy today just for you.”, she joked.

Seulgi quickly removed her hands, suddenly appalled of what she heard.

“Excuse me?”

Irene quickly felt something was off, because that was not the reaction she was expecting but she just laughed it off.

“Hey, good morning.”

“Uh, sorry. Do I know you?”, Seulgi spoke with a frown.

Irene straightened her posture, trying to read into Seulgi’s act but her acting seems legit.

“Seulgi, come on. It’s not funny.”

“Sorry, but why do you know my name?”

Irene couldn’t help but roll her eyes. “Okay? I’m Irene. Nice to meet you Seulgi.” She playfully offered a hand shake, trying to ride with Seulgi’s joke.

Seulgi looked around before whispering, “Am I being pranked? Were you asked by my cousin Wendy to do this?”

“What? No- what are you saying?”

“Listen miss. Whatever she told you, you can tell her to stop this. I’m- I’m not looking for a relationship right now.”

“Seulgi, stop being ridiculous. Joke’s over, okay? I don’t find this funny anymore.”

“Okay? Uhm, what did you say you’re name was?”

“It’s Irene. We had breakfast together yesterday. Then you asked me out if we can have breakfast again- TODAY.”, Irene was slowly starting to loose her composure. She didn’t notice that they were already gaining a few audiences.

“I’m really sorry miss. But this is definitely the first time I’ve seen you. I was with my family yesterday and… IF we really did meet yesterday… then.. I’m sure I’ll remember… but no… This is honestly my first time meeting you.”

“You’re.. serious?”, Irene held her head. She was starting to get a headache. All her excitement for this morning was slowly going away.

“Yes. I’m sorry… Hey, maybe you’ve confused me for someone else?”, Seulgi was able to say calmly. She felt sorry for this stranger. Despite the stranger knowing her name Seulgi decided to still give her the benefit of the doubt.

“No.. I don’t think— your name is Seulgi Kang. You teach art classes for high school students.”

“Okaay. This is- I’m sorry, but you’re starting to creep me out miss.”, Seulgi replied with a frown.

“How do you know that?”

Irene let you an exhausted sigh,

“Seulgi, whatever this is. I don’t like it. Are you just playing me? Pretending not to know me just so I can leave you alone? If this is the case then you’re… you’re really a jerk for doing this.”

Seulgi was surprised to see this beautiful girl becoming teary-eyed. The lady was already creating a small commotion since her voice was already shaking.

They were having a staredown. Both of them having mixed emotions and feeling confused about what was happening.

—————

“Excuse me, miss Irene is it? Can we talk outside? Excuse us for a moment Seulgi.”, an old lady suddenly appeared beside Irene.

Irene was already crying by the time they got outside. Unable to hide her tears of disappointment.

The old lady really felt sorry for Irene and offered her a napkin. She gave Irene a moment to compose herself before she spoke again.

“Hi sweetie, my name is Sue. I’m the owner of this place... Listen, what I’m about to say would sound really crazy. But what happened back there, with you and Seulgi. That’s.. that’s normal. I saw you guys hitting if off yesterday, I should’ve put a stop to it. But you guys looked like you were having fun, and it’s been so long since I’ve seen Seulgi act the way she was before… So I’m really sorry about what’s happening. And I’m… even more sorry say this… she doesn’t remember what happened anymore. You see… Seulgi has anterograde amnesia. “

“I’m sorry.. I don’t- I don’t follow.”

“A year ago, Seulgi got into a terrible accident… Seulgi and her Dad was driving to the North Shore to pick up a pineapple for his birthday, when on their way back her Dad lost control of the car and hit a tree. Both of them eventually recovered but Seulgi was never the same since. Her head was severely injured and this resulted to her current condition— she’s able to retain all of her memories up until the night before the accident, but… but she’s not able to create or gain any new memories anymore. It’s like.. having to wake up with a clean slate everyday.”

Irene noticed Sue, wiping the corner of her eyes. “Seulgi… is like a daughter to me. She’s one of the kindest people I’ve met. She’s always polite and generous… Her parents really raised her well.. and she.. she really didn’t deserve what happened to her… But.. this is her life now… living the same day over and over again.”

Irene couldn’t help but tear along with her.

“You’re not… making this up are you?”

“I wish I was... (or) else.. how would you explain what happened back there? I’m sorry… but she has no memory of how she met you.”

“I.. I don’t.. This is all so confusing…”

Sue slowly walked towards the newspaper stand placed beside the entrance of the diner. She took one newspaper and handed it to Irene.

“The accident happened on October 15th of last year. Seulgi wakes up everyday thinking it’s October 15th, the day of the accident. She goes to have breakfast here every morning because that was what she did on the morning of October 15, and does the exact same routine for the rest of the day, everyday. And it’s been more than a year since.”

“But what about the news papers? And her phone, what about the time and date set on there. And her social media? Plus the internet??”

Sue was trying hard to compose herself, but sharing Seulgi’s tragic history just made her very emotional.

“Her Dad had thousands of copies of the newspaper printed that day. As for her phone, well.. her cousin Wendy is an IT graduate. They had a special phone made just for her that’s an exact replica of the one she had that time. As for the other stuff, I think her cousin is able to filter the information that gets sent to her phone so all she can find is just limited or it’s just up until October 15 of last year.”

Irene was speechless.

But all she could think of was Seulgi. Eventhough it already happened. She didn’t deserve this. Her thoughts were broken when she heard Sue sniffling.

Irene would’ve found Sue’s genuine care and love for Seulgi touching if it wasn’t for the mixed emotions of regret and sorrow she was feeling. Especially after getting to see a glimpse of Seulgi.

As of the moment, albeit unaware of it, she was already sharing the pain that Sue felt.

She slowly walked towards Sue and placed her in a hug.

After they parted, Irene wanted to ask further but they were interupted by the door of the dinner opening— with Seulgi coming out followed by Doug.

“Hey, is.. is everything okay?”, Seulgi asked.

Irene and Sue had no idea that Seulgi was watching them from inside. She was still confused about what happened but when she saw the stranger crying, she stood up by instinct wanting to follow them outside. Seulgi doesn’t understand why she felt the need to look after this stranger, but she was stopped by Doug telling her to just let them talk.

When they both saw them crying and hugging, “Doug, please.”

Doug gave in because that was his mother after all. Even though he already knew what they were talking about.

—————

“Yes, of course! This pretty lady and I just had a really good heart-to-heart talk.”, Sue quickly composed herself and answered for the two of them.

“Okay? Uhm, how ‘bout you? Uhm, miss Irene?… You.. you okay?”

Irene was surprised to hear Seulgi asking about her, but she was drained from all the information and crying.

“Yes. I’m fine. Sorry for what happened earlier. I was… I wasn’t myself back there and I wasn’t.. thinking straight.”

Seulgi gave her a small smile, to which Irene returned. The taller girl was about to go back inside when Irene spoke again, “Seulgi!… I’m.. I’m sorry again for what happened…I’ll.. I’ll tell Wendy that you’re not up to being set up.. and.. I’m sorry if.. if I took the acting thing a bit too much.”

Seulgi shook her head and let out another smile, “No harm done. Stay safe miss Irene.”

Once Seulgi was back inside, Sue and Irene both let out a sigh.

“I’m sorry again if your feelings got hurt because of this. At least now you understand it wasn’t Seulgi’s fault she doesn’t remember you.”

“Yeah.. I feel so.. I feel so bad now.. like terribly bad… I think I would even prefer that she’s just pretending she doesn’t know me. Then at least she’ll just be a jerk and not in this predicament.”

“It’s okay. We all wish that accident never happened.”

“I guess no more breakfast or second date for us today.”, Irene let out a sad smile which Sue return.

“You guys would’ve been a cute couple.”, Sue complimented, but Irene’s smile didn’t reach her eyes.

“Hey, I’ll let you have some take out. On the house.”

“Thank you mam. But I don’t think I even have the appetite to eat anymore.”

“I understand… We’ll still see you around though?”

Irene shook her head. “I don’t think I will be back... at least not anytime soon.”

—————

Irene couldn’t sleep that night even though she still had to go to work early the next day. She kept thinking about Seulgi. It hurt her to find out what happened and how she’s living her day to day.

—————

The next day.

“Unnie, here are the reports you asked and— my god unnie.. you look like sh*t. What happened to you over the weekend?”, Joy greeted Irene when she entered her office.

Irene didn’t have time to deal with Joy’s sassiness and instead focused on her laptop. She fell asleep halfway into her research last night until the early morning about Seulgi’s case and if it’s curable.

“Oh my god! Unnie, you look like a mess.”, Yeri quickly said after she barged inside since Joy messaged an SOS to her.

“Why do you look like you lost a lot of weight over the weekend? And what’s up with the dark circles around your eyes? You even look at lot pale than usual.”, Yeri went on, worried about the state they were seeing right now.

“Are you sick?”, Joy stood up and touched Irene’s forehead.

“You’re a bit warm unnie. Maybe you should take a leave today. There’s nothing urgent to do.”, Joy added.

“Yeah... I think… I should go home and rest.”, Irene slowly stood up and grabbed her jacket.

Yeri and Joy quickly made eye contact. This was so not Irene. Even if she was sick, she’ll still find time to work, but seeing her instantly agreeing to rest— something was up, and they’re going to find out what was wrong with their beloved mentor/ big sister/ boss.

—————

Irene woke up to the smell of food. She looked at the time before she felt her stomach growling. It’s already evening and the last time she ate was still the other day. No wonder she lost a lot of weight quickly.

As much as she wanted to stay in bed, she knows well enough that Joy and Yeri were the ones cooking and it was never okay to let them stay in the kitchen for too long.

—————

Irene got out of her room to see what Joy and Yeri were doing.

“Oh. Hey unnie, you’re up. Just in time too. Joy and I bought some food for us, we’re just reheating everything.”, Yeri explained while Joy was setting up the table.

Irene just sat in one of the chairs, still thinking about Seulgi and what she can do for her.

Her thoughts were broken off when Joy and Yeri asked her to eat.

It was a very silent dinner for the three of them.

Joy and Yeri were stealing glances towards each other, kicking the other under the table because they can’t decide who would break the silence to ask Irene what’s going on. They have an inkling that what Irene was going through was very serious, because Joy accidentally saw what Irene was looking at in her computer when she checked to see her temperature.

She saw Irene looking at studies about amnesia and an article about a car accident last year.

Joy faked a cough to catch Irene’s attention because she seems to be deep in her own thoughts, “Unnie, are you okay? You know you can tell us anything.”

“We’re just really worried about you… we’ve never seen you looking this tired and lost.”, Yeri added.

“I also… accidentally saw what you were looking at in your laptop. That’s why we’re even more worried… did something happen to your family?”, Joy explained while holding one of Irene’s hand.

Irene let out a breath she was holding and figured it was better to tell them everything that happened over the weekend. She also needed their perspective on what she should do because she feels stuck and confused about what she’s feeling.

—————

“Wow. I mean… wow.”, Joy can only mutter.

Yeri couldn’t help but rub her face, “This all sounds like a badly written plot from a kdrama.”

“Yeah. You finally found someone that interested you and now this happens.”, Joy added.

“I know. I mean, I still can’t believe it either.”, Irene placed her head on the table.

“Well what can you do?”, Yeri asked.

“I don’t know. I can’t stop thinking about her. I feel so.. bad and so lost at the same time. Like, I finally found someone… for the first time made me feel all this… these overwhelming emotions. Even before we got to talk, I can’t keep my eyes away from her… And when we finally got to (in) talking… she comfortably opened up to me, that was the first time I opened up to someone so freely as well… I was so excited to see her again and to actually see where this goes but then… I found out about her condition… Like, what’s the universe telling me?”, Irene shared her thought.

“Maybe it just gave you a glimpse of going out with someone. Perhaps to teach you that you can still have a chance at love? Like it’s possible for you to get a strong attraction towards someone? Just preparing you?”, Joy shared her thoughts.

“But what about Seulgi? What’s in it for her? Why did the universe let her meet me if it was just a passing thing? Or if it would just be for my benefit? The universe can’t be that cruel. I mean, what has Seulgi ever done to deserve that…”

Yeri held Irene’s hand because distress was still all over her face, “Unnie, you can’t keep thinking about things that are out of your control or things that you don’t have the answer to. We just learn to deal with it then we move on. Or else you’ll stay bitter and miserable.”

Joy nodded in agreement to this.

Irene squeezed her hand back before putting her legs up on the chair and hugging them.

“But I want to see her... I have this want to see her everyday… Even now as I found out that it’s just gonna be that one-time thing for us, I still can’t get her out of my mind. It would've been better if the universe had never let us meet and have a good time in the first place… because now I want more… But what's the use if I can’t have it?”

Joy and Yeri made eye contact. Both thinking how sad and totally unexpected this was.

Joy suddenly let out a sigh. “Unnie, hard as this is for me to say, but I agree with Yeri on this one. You need to move on. We’re going away in about four weeks anyway. There’s no use in thinking about this.”

“But—“

Yeri stopped Irene from continuing saying,

“Unnie, there are no ‘buts’ or comma this time. It’s already a period. You’re not gonna get anything from her. That one great date you had, that was it. Just treasure it. At least before we go, you know that heart of yours—“

“and your ”, Joy butted in.

… is still functioning.”, Yeri ended with a light kick to Joy’s shin.

Thankfully they were all able to laughed at Joy’s comment.

“I wasn’t even thinking about that!”, Irene said in defence.

“What? Coming from your type I’m sure she’s hot!”, Joy remarked.

“Can we see a picture of her?”, Yeri asked finally easing the heavy atmosphere.

“NO!”

“Wait, you said her name was Seulgi Kang?”, Joy muttered.

“On it.”, Yeri was already googling her.

Irene already did that yesterday and the first thing that pops up would be articles of the accident then her IG page.

“Oh my.”

Joy stood up to look behind Yeri, while Irene can only cover her face. They must’ve seen Seulgi’s IG page already.

Irene already found this. Even after her date she searched for her IG already. It was actually part of the topics and conversations she was planning to ask Seulgi next— to get her number and connect to her social media accounts.

“Oh god! Is that a— yep. ”, Joy ended her comment with a whistle before giving Irene a dirty look.

Irene knocked her head on the table.

They weren’t helping her in her current predicament. But Irene knows they must've already seen the almost topless pictures of Seulgi when she went surfing with her friends.

Why did the universe let her meet such a perfect creature??!

Once Yeri and Joy settled back to their chairs. Irene stood up to get a pitcher of water, got herself a cup before drinking it in one go.

“Feeling hot all of a sudden?”, Yeri teased.

“Not you too.”, Irene complained.

“Dang.. Well.. God IS amazing for creating that body. That’s all I’m gonna say.”, Joey shared.

Joy and Yeri laughed again when Irene blushed quickly and covered her face with her hands.

“I see why you can’t forget her unnie.”, Yeri remarked again.

“You guys aren’t helping me at all.”

“Okay okay. We’ll stop now. But my god. I would’ve tapped that. She's so hot unnie! And smart and artistic too!”, Yeri spoke again.

“Well maybe that’s why you 'can't' have it all. Yeah you have everything from brains, personality and the body, but you’ll be living the same day over again for the rest of your life.”

“Sorry, that’s a horrible way to say it.” Joy said while lightly frowing as she continued to share her thoughts.

Irene could only groan in frustration. Admittedly she does feel better and the situation already lightened because of her two friends.

“Just be thankful unnie at least you met her.”, Yeri said.

“But it would’ve been better if you were able to get laid.”, Joy suddenly teased.

“Joy!!”, Yeri and Irene both said at the same time. Yeri was laughing but Irene was fuming. She hit Joy in the head.

“What? Am just saying! If the universe is just going to screw you by giving this beautiful creature from mother nature, then they could’ve at least given you the total package of having taste of both her mind and her body.”

Yeri bursted laughing and Irene couldn’t help but laugh at the irony too.

“Thank you guys. I don’t say it enough but I’m glad I have you guys as my best friends.”

“Aww~”

Irene offered her arms and the two stood up to hug her tight. Irene both kissed them and gave them a pat on the head.

Yeri then remembered they bought carrot cake. They continued their dinner with some dessert while Irene made them some tea.

While they were eating, Joy suddednly gasped.

“I.. I have an idea… You still want to meet her right?”, Joy asked Irene.

“Well..”, Irene was about to speak when Yeri cut her off.

“Joy no—“

“Hey, lemme finish first.”, Joy tried to say her point.

“That’s a horrible idea.”, Yeri muttered because she already knows what Joy was gonna say.

Irene was curious. Going back and forth between Yeri and Joy before asking, “Why?”

“Think of what’s happening unnie. You meet a girl you’re attracted to, spend some time or go on a date with her, it’s up to you if you want to take it further. But that’s it. You’re happy, she’s happy. Then it’s done. Kinda like a harmless one-night-stand cause she’ll won’t remember a thing after. And, if you made a mistake then you can always have a do-over.”

Yeri groaned. “Joy! That’s horrible!”

“What do you mean?”, Irene still doesn’t get the gist of Joy’s proposal.

“I mean we’re still leaving in 4 weeks. And that makes this even more perfect. We’ll leave and she won't even remember a thing about you.”

“I don’t really understand what I’ll get from doing that.”, Irene muttered. She still felt a pang of hurt thinking about Seulgi.

“You get to have fun? Treat your eyes and your mind with a good conversation. You see, even if Seulgi won’t remember, at least you’re helping her in a way by making her day different than the last or at least she gets to have one good day different from what she’s used to.”

Yeri saw that there was a good point in what Joy said but she still added, “Joy, unnie could get hurt from this. Yeah, Seulgi won’t remember, but Irene-unnie will. And what makes you think it’ll be different anytime?”

“Unnie can take her to places.. or to bed?”, Joy joked.

“You're sick Joy.”, Yeri commented.

“No. If you think about it, it’s the perfect one-time date.”, Joy said.

“Again, unnie could get hurt.”, Yeri was still insistent that it was a bad suggestion.

“Only if she gets herself be attached.”, Joy combat.

“They’ve only been on one date, that was barely a date. But look at unnie being a wreck already.”

“Hey she’s an adult. I’m sure that after this, Irene-unnie would learn to become better or at least get a grasp at relationships.”

—————

Irene slept that night thinking about the conversations she had over dinner with Joy and Yeri.

A day passed by without seeing Seulgi, but the next day she went back to the diner.

She just wanted to see her again. Every time she would remember Seulgi’s face and her smile she thinks, Seulgi really didn’t deserve what happened to her.

Irene felt another wave of butterflies the moment she saw Seulgi sitting on the same table seemingly fine. She was about to approach again when Doug suddenly blocked her.

“What did Sue tell you?”

“I just want to talk to her.”, Irene explained while looking in Seulgi’s direction.

“Look missy. You guys looked cute together last week— YES, but that was it. You know by now that Seulgi can’t have relationships… and.. besides, I think you just got lucky that time.”, Doug crossed his arms as he finished trying to taunt her.

Irene raised a brow at him. “Excuse me?”

“That day was just pure luck for you. First, I know Seulgi she doesn’t like it when girls are too forward. Second, she won’t like it when people would hit on her while she’s having her breakfast. She just wants to eat in peace and not be disturbed.”

Doug did had a point. Irene agreed, but she just wanted to talk to Seulgi again.

“I just.. want to talk to her.”

“You can try. But I bet you 20 bucks what happened with you and her last week won’t get a repeat.”

Irene narrowed her eyes at him. He challenged her before and she’s not gonna chicken out now. So she shook his hand and made a deal with him, not knowing Doug was loved making bets out of things.

Irene walks to the counter and got a toothpick, showed it off to Doug, waving it in the air while giving a smirk at him.

—————

Irene tried to do what she did before by sticking the toothpick on Seulgi’s waffle windowsill.

She gave Seulgi a triumphant smile but this time instead of Seulgi’s smile that welcomed her, it was a frown instead.

“Uh, now you can close and open your windows and it won’t fall off. See?”, she even made some cute sound effects while she demonstrated opening and closing the tiny window.

“Yeah, I’d like it if strangers touched my food with their bare hands— (it’s) totally sanitary.”, Seulgi continued to frown.

Irene gulped and quickly bowed to apologize.

Safe to say, Irene fails on the first try and quickly leaves after letting out one last apology.

To make things worse, Doug was waiting for her by the door with his palm open.

Irene roughly placed the 20 dollars in his palm but not before muttering, “We’ll see tomorrow. Double or nothing.” To which the 6’6 server just laughed.

“We’ll see.”

—————

So the next day she dressed up nicely—wearing an off-shoulder top paired with a denim mini-skirt and some heels.

She also asked Joy and Yeri to put some make up on her to seal the deal.

“Oh, so you’re back again. Ready to loose your money?”

“No, I’ll be earning back mine instead with you paying me your own money.”

This time she pretended to know Seulgi from somewhere.

“Hey there.”

Seulgi looked up with her cheeks full of food. She almost choked if it we’re for Irene quickly giving her the mug of coffee she had on the table.

“Uhm, thanks. And uh, hi?”

“I think I know you from somewhere.”, Irene sat infront of Seulgi and totally changed the way that she spoke, mimicking the way Joy had said it as they practiced to come off as confident but still friendly and welcoming.

Speaking far from her usually soft-spoken tone.

But Irene didn’t know that paired with her outfit, she totally came off as being too friendly and flirtatious.

“Uh, sorry. But I don’t think we’ve met.”

“Really, you look really familiar though. You’re Seulgom right?”

Irene meant to make that mistake at the end as taught by Joy as a way of getting an instant reply from Seulgi.

But Seulgi just narrowed her eyes at her. Leaned back to wipe and hands with the napkin on the table.

“No. My name is Wendy.”

It was Irene’s turn to furrow her eyebrows. She wasn't expecting this response. Joy said that Seulgi was going to laugh at her cute mistake then correct her that it was ‘Seulgi’. Then that’s where their conversation’s gonna start.

Irene suddenly heard a big laugh from behind the counter. It was Doug, pretending to be busy.

“O-oh. Really? I was sure your name is Seul-seulgom or Seulgi?.”

“Nope. It’s Wendy, and I’m actually not from around here.”

Okay. Screw Joy. She totally lost another chance again.

“Oh okay. I’m sorry for disturbing you then.”

“No worries.”

Irene waited to get a response from Seulgi but it looks like their conversation ends there. Seulgi didn’t even bother asking her name back.

Doug was again was again waiting for her but outside this time.

Irene lost 40 dollars that day.

“Double or nothing again tomorrow?”, Doug teased only to get an eye roll from Irene.

If only she looked behind she would see Seulgi staring at her back the whole time she walked away while biting her lip.

Irene that day totally looked hot but personality-wise, Seulgi wasn’t having it. Too bad.

—————

The next day she pretended to be a tourist. She was styled by Yeri this time. She had a sleeveless top, jeans shorts, sneakers, and a big hiking bag.

She would pretend to be a lost tourist and was gonna approach Seulgi to ask for directions.

Yeri insisted that she drew the place herself, even though Irene totally complained that her drawing skills were comparable to Jacko— her favorite walrus.

“This is going to be successful I tell you! She’s going to take you here herself and you’ll have your first date at this park. Then you’re going to show off what you know about animals. She’ll be impressed and you’ll totally end up getting your first kiss.”, Yeri bragged.

Irene drew a picture of a father and son fishing, with pictures of walruses and dolphins surrounding them.

Yeri was sure Seulgi would think her drawing was endearing (despite looking like sh*t, cause she can't draw to save her life) because she tried to draw the Sea Life Park.

“Hey, uhm, sorry to disturb you. But I’m kinda lost.. and.. you look like you’re from around here. Can you tell me where this place is?”

Chapter 7: Sigh. 50 first dates never disappoint….. until i read this one.

…coz this version was leaps and miles better (sans Lucy’s brother. Coz goddamn that scene when the father-son duo tried to intimidate egghead was hilarious).

Chapter 4: This chapter was jammed pack. Roller coaster emotions, story lines, new situations, you name it! Kudos for this one for sure! I appreciate the deviation from the original movie. I do like a sort of “soulmate” situation with the two of them. Heart vs brain huh? I love that all the characters carry a different dynamic with the protagonist and how it builds and moves the story line along. Cheers!

Chapter 1: You made Irene be Adam Sandler’s character?!?!? 😆🤣😆🤣😆🤣
Well…tbh, good call… i think personally, having Irene as Lucy would be more heartbreaking. I don’t know why. Also! Loving the integration of the savage maknaes in this one!

50 first dates is very sad if you really think about it. But it’s such a good romcom. Hopefully this one won’t be too angsty 😁. Looking forward to SeulRene’s version. Cheers!
