The story I’m going to tell is not your typical love story.

First, this involves two women, so if you’re not accepting of this, then you better move on and don’t bother to listen to what I’m about to share.

Second, this is not just a ‘love-at-first-sight’ type of story, where they both had an instant attraction and connection and they go through the normal couple struggles before they finally settle and start their ‘happy ever after’ together. 

No, this story involves one that constantly falls in love with the her lover daily (on a good day at least), and her lover constantly reminding her and showing her how much she loves her because this said girl has anterograde amnesia.

To elaborate— it’s because this said girl has short-term memory loss. She wakes up everyday only to lose the memory she gained from the day before.

Imagine, having to live your day normally as possible, not knowing the moment you wake up you’ll be living the same day over and over again.

Third and last, this love story blossomed here in this beautiful island of Hawaii.
