A new day, a new life has just begun and today is the 3rd week of the month same old scenarios in the city with bustling horns of vehicles, crowded places early in the daylight

neighbours quiet yet with a drastic polite greeting with a humble smile, flowers were still vibrant through the ball of sunshine in the sky with an oceanic view above

so clear and so bright, feeling the air as it enters my body and letting myself hit it through my skin, closing my eyes as if connecting myself in the atmosphere

never thought that there would be a beautiful day to come as I never drop myself a smile 

while walking into the hallway students were chattering noises left and right some were gathered in small groups with squealing noises meeting their closest friends and some made new friends which is wholesome

Speaking of wholesome there's someone that made her as special none other than-

"hey miyeon stop it you're spacing out"

"huh? What?.."

"do I need to say it again?" Soyeon said releasing a sigh for the 3rd time

"somethings up? You've been space out a bit" 

They're inside the student's council room luckily they're just two of them stayed as others were leaving early and mentally grateful to miyeon that there's no one will eavesdrop to their conversation or else it will be embarrassing if it spread to the campus especially to her introverted crush

"oh...my apologies, its nothing is just the math makes me trouble in solving lately" 

Soyeon just rose a brow of what she heard the miyeon? The cho miyeon whose excellence in math in quizzes, exams even in competition? and an honor student that never failed everyone but impress having a hard time solving her favorite subject? That's ridiculous 

Well miyeon is always asleep during math time because she's exceptionally exempted the reason why? within 10 seconds she's done but still a lame excuse she knows how capable miyeon when it comes to puzzles, logic and theories in which miyeon is very good at that no scratch it even better Soyeon just looking at her rolling her eyes as if she thought she actually believed it letting out a snort

"what a great excuse miyeon, it's my first time to hear from yours having a hard time dealing to her exceptional class subject particularly one of her best at it and one more thing how does the subject makes you flustered? Perhaps you had a crush on Ms. Bae?" 

Miyeon flabbergastingly respond immediately denied 

"No! I mean she's pretty but no I don't like her hell no, never..well if ever there's one then you're the first one to know that's our promise remember?" 

"hmm...well yeah if you're seeing someone for now then do you like someone?" 

Awhile ago while they're checking the test papers Soyeon called her she didn't heard any response and she called her again receiving the same silent response, eyes off from the paper and looking towards the other whose blankly staring down the paper while smiling idly like she's being possessed by an idiotic demon 

"I- I mean n-no I don't! S-still no one!" miyeon retorted

How many times she defended herself from Soyeon seeing the opposite reaction of the older ears went visibly red as tomato with a combination of blabbering mess with her words made her amused well this is a proof that this girl doesn't know how to tell a lie as she tried to keep her composure, stifled her laugh enjoying the rare view of this moment of the cho miyeon

"hmm yeah sure I understand based from your reactions I get it" 

"I- I think I'm getting hot by today's weather its kinda hot outside you know" 

"we're using ac here and-" Soyeon suddenly pauses stands up reaching her hands to touch miyeon's forehead made the girl flinch and quickly swated her hands away  

"you're not that hot which means your not sick well sort of love sick maybe" 

"yah! I am not! Stop it, I'm still single" miyeon quickly denied her allegations 

"Well can you explain about this" Soyeon bring out a small paper with a quote wrote on it from her pocket made miyeon bulge her eyes out didn't take a second to regained her posture act as if nothing 

"why are you suspecting me that I'm the one who wrote it besides her permanship is way better than mine" well a smart question true the penmanship from the letter is way exagerratedly beautiful yet some and the latter's reply were bit off while Soyeon takes a note of her in a sentence. She's just having fun. 

"uhm..yeah her penmanship was good I will definitely praise her from that knowing this, perhaps invited her from calligraphy art competition?" Soyeon said smirkingly looking at miyeon

Oh, one thing to be taking note of about the girl. Miyeon is like a turtle to spare more time to take but gets in the end anyway. 

However she doesn't and that's a big fat cheer celebration for herself with that and tries to tag along to change the subject quickly but Soyeon already know what's coming yet she isn't. 

"yes definitely! I bet she would" 

"yeah I think she is" 

"..."

"We still don't have her name yet or know she was but maybe tomorrow if we show this art in the class then we will know her" 

"no!" 

"why not?" 

"what if she doesn't want to show herself?" 

"well sure you're single but I guess you found your pair and didn't tell me so it's fair" 

"yah!" 

Miyeon mentally thankful that there only two of them left inside or this could be out to handle

"yah! give it back to me!" 

"ah...wait lemme read it first" 

"no! Don't you dare!" 

It didn't have the time to finish read out loud the letter due to a flying book hits perfectly to the nose with a thud afterwards

"OW!" 

"Stop! please I'm begging you don't read it out loud" miyeon cries begging to Soyeon to not let it read loud enough to hear that could be possible nor impossible that all students went home except for few students preparing for upcoming intramurals in the next month

Kinda 50/50 situation they were in but somehow still safe as long as the dispatch news caster woojin isn't there

And miyeon gladly caught the paper while glaring to the gray-haired girl just rolling her eyes and half-heartedly apologised, pinching her nose due to the receiving a perfect shot. Never once in her life seeing her friend for decades to be this flustered and like toddler fool to someone.
