Kyuhyun jumped up as soon as Siwon entered the room.

“Hyung! Where have you been!? I tried calling you and you didn’t answer and I got seriously worried!” Kyuhyun yelled, his eyes and cheeks red, tearstains clearly visible and adding more weight to Siwon’s bad conscience.

“I’m sorry, Kyu, I freaked out and I-“

“I don’t care!” Kyuhyun yelled, hammering his fists against Siwon’s broad chest, new tears streaming down his cheeks.

“Hey, hey, hey,” Siwon tried to soothe, holding the maknae close to prevent him from doing any damage to either of them.

“I’m sorry,” he chanted, trying to calm down the hyperventilating man in his arms. He kept on arm tightly around his upper body while he began through Kyuhyun’s hair and at his nape with the other. “I’m sorry, I freaked out.”

“I hate you,” Kyuhyun mumbled weakly, finally giving up on his assault. A fresh round of tears made their way from his eyes and into the fabric of Siwon’s shirt.

“I know. I’m sorry,” the older murmured against the top of the maknae’s head where he rested his head. He kept the younger’s arms and back to make him calm down enough for them to talk. When the maknae had stopped crying, only sniffling once in a while, Siwon tried to hold him out in an arm’s length to make eye contact with him, but the younger just clung to him tighter.

“Don’t leave me again,” he begged, grabbing Siwon’s shirt so tightly that the older man could feel the fabric stretching out over his back.

“I’m not leaving you, Kyu. I just think we should talk about this face to face, don’t you?” Siwon asked carefully, not wanting to upset the guy he was deeply in love with any further than he already had. It took a second, but then Kyuhyun nodded slightly and released his vice grip on the older’s shirt so he could wipe his face of tears and snot. Despite the not so flattering image, Siwon thought Kyuhyun was as beautiful as ever.
