Kyuhyun slowly made his way to the living room, determined to stay with Siwon until the older told him what was bothering him at the moment. He knew that it wasn’t just the regular stress and Kyuhyun was convinced that he could never be more than a friend to his hyung, so he wanted to be the very best friend you could find on earth. He stopped outside the closed door, hearing soft jazz tunes come from the living room. He knocked on the door frame gently, but received no answer. Once he peeked through it, he was met by the sight of Siwon sitting comfortably in the sofa, his head slightly to the side, his eyes closed and a book held in front of him. Kyuhyun felt a smile creep onto his lips at the sight of his hyung sleeping; perhaps he really was tired.

“Hyung?” Kyuhyun asked, sitting down beside Siwon, careful not to wake the older too abruptly. Siwon hummed softly, but didn’t wake up.

“Siwon hyung?” Kyuhyun tried again, this time shaking the taller man’s shoulder slightly. Siwon slowly opened his eyes, looking confused and disoriented.

“What?” he asked, only then noticing that it was Kyuhyun who woke him up. “Where’s the others?” he asked, trying to hide his discomfort at being so close to the other. He was scared of being alone with him, knowing that the maknae only had to push him a little before he reached his limit. He was usually a very patient person, but he was so tired and stressed out because of his feelings, that his patience was wearing thin at the moment.

“They already went out. Do you want me to cook something?” Kyuhyun asked in a rare fit of helpfulness. Siwon looked at him weirdly, causing Kyuhyun to blush. “I can also not-“

“No, I’d like it if you’d cook. I’m actually hungry,” Siwon replied quickly. He knew that with just the two of them there, he couldn’t get around with not eating, like he had come to do a lot these days. Kyuhyun nodded and stood up to go to the kitchen.
