Sometimes, ❝love❞ is pretentious
The one with the fake love.
They can be in an arranged marriage where their partner doesn't love them or they can be fake dating someone just for show. It's up to you how you interpret it but do keep in mind that the fic will be more drama-leaning so even if those tropes are mostly for rom-coms, we're going to have to make it work with a not-so-fluff interpretation.

Plotline 02 (Available)
Sometimes, love is ❝wrong❞
The one with the forbidden love.
They are in love with someone who is not allowed to be with them - whether it's a scenario like Romeo and Juliet or a scenario where one parent is too conservative for the relationship or anything else you can think of, it's all fine. However, please don't make the love interest a minor and call it forbidden love -- that's not how it works. All the characters will be adult in the story so their love interests will also be consenting adults.

The one with the abusive love.
This is the plotline of acecereal's (my) character. You can take a peek at my application once it's in the cheatsheet.

Sometimes, love is ❝not fair❞
The one with the unrequited love.
They love someone who does not love them back so naturally, drama ensues. There are lots of possibile love interests for this one like a childhood friend who treats them like a sibling, a friend who loves someone else, or an ex who fell out of love with them and decided that they are better to be just friends, or anything really.

Plotline 05 (Available)
Sometimes, ❝love❞ lies
The one with the unfaithful love.
They are in a relationship with someone but it's not exactly the healthiest relationship around. Either they're the one cheating or their partner is the one cheating or both them and their partner are cheating with each other - All of them are accepted in this plotline, whatever will make your character work.
