A Helping Hand
A Dangerous AttractionIrene's heart raced as she tried to process the sudden turn of events. She looked around, searching for the source of their unconsciousness, and her eyes landed on Seulgi. Seulgi stood tall, her expression fierce. She approached Irene, concern evident in her eyes.
"Are you okay?" Seulgi asked, extending a hand to help Irene up from the ground. "You seem to have quite the knack for finding trouble."
Irene nodded, still in shock but grateful for Seulgi's intervention. "Thank you," she managed to say, her voice trembling.
Seulgi stepped away briefly, returning with an oversized shirt and a handkerchief. She handed them to Irene and instructed her to freshen up while she made a phone call.
"No need to drive me back. Just let them know I have some catching up to do in school as a new student. Also, please ask someone to bring my motorcycle and have it ready in the parking lot... thanks," Seulgi said into the phone.
"Understood," replied the person on the other end of the line.
Seulgi then turned back to Irene. "I'll take you home," she offered.
After Irene finished fixing herself up in the bathroom, she found Seulgi waiting for her with a serious expression and crossed arms. Irene couldn't help but find Seulgi's demeanor strangely attractive, but she quickly dismissed those thoughts. She hesitated, unsure whether to go with Seulgi or not.
