since ancient times, alphas have always been seen as the superior dynamic, with betas to follow, and omegas on bottom. alphas were the ones in power, the ones who were set to make the decisions for their kingdom, the protectors, and the general leaders. time went on, and omegas continued to be oppressed. that is until the late king aryze passed away, and with no alpha children to pass the throne to, it was given to his wife, queen thalia.

under her rulership, things began to change. she changed the laws, benefiting the omegas but disadvantaging the alphas. now it was the omegas who were on top, and the most powerful. alphas were no longer the ones who could use their strength or magic, let alone be violent in any way. queen thalia's successors continued these laws and it soon became xalon's way of life

in a kingdom where alphas are now discriminated against and seen as the weaker dynamic, very few try to raise up against the unfair treatment, but such backlash only gets the poor alphas and betas either killed or thrown in jail. the rigid societal structure has been set in place.

We are an oc only and au roleplay. You are required to make an original character, so your nuse should NOT have the same name as your fc.

IC drama is welcomed and encouraged, however OOC is not. Please refrain from causing drama. If a problem ever occurs, talk to an admin for help. Keep OOC and IC separate and don't bring in personal problems to rp.

All ualities are accepted, with a dating ban of 2 weeks. If you are a moving couple please state so in your application.

We are mature in the sense of what our members can plot and roleplay (if both parties agree). Put in respectable tws if needed. Character death is allowed if all the parties involved agree.

Two characters is the maximum. You can only get your second character after being in the roleplay for 2 weeks. Unlimited amount of CCs, but there is a cooldown of 4 days between each character change you do.

Subscribing is a must, upvoting is not required but welcomed. Password is your favorite character (show, book, etc).

Absolutely no godmodding. Do not control others characters and don't make your own invincible.

Posting once a week is required to keep your character. This can be either through journal entries or rp replies.

If you have been kicked out from the rp due to inactivity, you must wait 2 days before applying again. If you change your fc, you do not have to wait.

Hiatuses are allowed and available for those who need it. Please message an admin for further information.

Upon 48 hours of being welcomed, please set your profile up accordingly. State in the section titled 'city' xalon rp. You are free to include any other info needed in your bio. It is optional but advised that you include some ooc information like your writing style, timezone etc. Make your name easy to find, and avoid special characters, fonts, and emojis. Your user on mewe should be your OC's name.

There will be a group for introductions. This is where you will post about your character. We also advise that you pin a post to your profile with some basic info.

A group for arrivals and departures will be there so the current members can keep their contacts list updated. Please stay on top of adding and removing contacts.

There will be specific location groups in the roleplay for people to rp in. Please use these groups for this purpose and avoid rping only in dms.

The plot takes place in the medieval era , therefore modern technology will not be available. Keep this in mind when roleplaying, talking in character, etc. To replace SNS posts, people may make journal entries, though of course people can't interact with them [by commenting].
