“WHY though!?”

Yujin couldn’t help but to ask her dad about the absurdity of his decision to put Yujin and Liz in separate rooms. What’s even more absurd is that she’s being told to sleep in Minjoo's room instead. Yujin couldn’t take the wild idea of her dad to the point that her English naturally came out. 

“Come on, Dad!” Yujin rolled her eyes. “It’s not that we will give life to someone if something happens between us.”

“Eugene!” Liz called before giving her a smack on the shoulder. She was blushing again.

“My decision is final. While the two of you are in this house, Liz will be sleeping in your room and you will stay in your sister’s room!” Richard crossed his arms and looked away, ignoring Yujin who was still complaining. 

Sookyoung asked Minjoo to translate for her but the pink-haired girl just laughed at her mum and didn’t go into further details especially when Yujin shouted, “It’s not like it will be the first time that we will sleep together! We usually spend the weekends together!”

The girl kept on talking about embarrassing stuff until Liz couldn’t take it anymore and gave her a body blow before marching to her room. The blonde-haired girl tucked her tongue out before closing the door which soon opened back just to give the others a good night greeting. Liz turned to Yujin again only to frown at the said girl.

“Look at what you did, Dad…” Yujin sighed which earned her a flick on the forehead. The girl yelped in pain, holding her forehead that immediately turned red after getting hit. “What’s that for!?”

“You did that yourself, rascal!” Richard shook his head. “You were the one who started talking about things that would embarrass your girlfriend!”

“It’s because this whole thing is absurd! Why can’t I sleep with my girlfriend?”

“Shut up. I said my decision is final.” 

Minjoo just smiled after seeing the father and daughter’s bickering once more. She surely missed it. It was almost everyday that they bickered back in Chicago. When they came to Korea, Yujin got really silent and avoided speaking to them at the very least. 

“You’re really old-fashioned.” Yujin threw herself to the couch. “I guess your students here think you’re a huge boomer.”

Junsu just glared at his daughter before going to their room. “Good night, rascal.”

“Yeah right.” Yujin continued to sulk but immediately smiled when it was Sookyung who greeted her good night. “Good night~” Yujin told the woman with a cute smile on her face. With that, only the sisters were left in the living room. The silence was just too awkward. 

“Y-Yujin…” Minjoo finally called, breaking the silence that covered them. “You can go sleep in my room. I’ll just sleep outside.”

“Outside?” Yujin turned to her with a curious face. “Your boyfriend’s place?”

Minjoo was taken aback. “N-No, I don’t—”

“Hey, don’t you think that’s unfair?” Yujin went back to her feet with a leap. “I can’t sleep in the same room with my girlfriend and you’re going to your boyfriend’s house? That’s unfair, Unnie!”

“N-No, Yujin!” Minjoo frantically waved her hands. “I-I was thinking of actually crashing at Wonyoung’s place. A-Also, I don’t have a boyfriend in the first place!”

“What?” Yujin looked at her in disbelief. “No way! With that beauty of yours?”

Minjoo couldn’t help but to blush after hearing that compliment but she couldn’t help but to feel hurt as well believing that Yujin still thinks that she’s dating guys.

“I-I’m not really interested in dating now.” Minjoo forced another smile. “I-I’ll just go get some stuff, you can sleep in my room and I will go to Wonyoung’s place.”

Minjoo went into her room just to get her charger and iPad but she was surprised when she turned around and saw Yujin looking around her room as if she was in a museum. The pink-haired girl just smiled and went back to whatever she was doing. When she’s already prepared to go, she saw Yujin standing by the door as if purposely blocking her way.

“I’ll go now, Yujin.” Minjoo said as her own way of ‘excuse me’. But, instead of making way, Yujin didn’t move even an inch and just looked at Minjoo. “Yujin? Is there something–”

The pink-haired girl was silenced when Yujin loudly sighed as those broad shoulders dropped. “Just stay, Unnie. There’s no need to go out at this time.”

“But—”
