Heart beating wildly, my jaw clenched as I tightened my grip on the gun I was holding. My hands were slightly trembling due to the fury taking over very nerve in my body, sending my thoughts in chaos.
I was mad angry at myself but also wanting to curse the person holding her hostage right now. I gulped, trying to compose myself as my eyes focused on her. She was scared, I could perfectly distinguish the look of terror in her eyes no matter how hard she tried to keep a brave face. The corner of her eyes were glistening, hinting the tears that were about to fall any moment from now. Her previously, neatly tied hair was now disheveled. I balled my other hand into fist, mustering the slightest amount of control I had left in my system.
Just the thought of them hurting her in any way, made me want to rip them apart.

I couldn’t give up right now yet ironically it seemed like it was the only hope I had, she had to survive this. No matter what it takes, she had to walk out of here alive. I closed my eyes for a second, forcing my mind to think but all I could do was listen to the damn pounding behind my chest.
“ you Byun!” The man yelled, his voice echoing in the huge parking space of an abandoned building.
When I turned to him, his eyes were piercing through mine. I knew he was enjoying this.
“If you think that you have all the time in the world to think about this…” He paused, gritting his teeth. “You’re wrong.” He went on firmly.
He tightened his arm arou
