So much had changed since Sojung and Eunbi had visited over the past weekend.

Well, that was a bit of an exaggeration, but the change was still enough to be noticeable. 

The week had progressed normally but some of Yuju's behavior was definitely different than before. Sure, she would still get upset whenever Yewon would have to leave for school in the morning. But when she would arrive back home, she would sometimes ask about Eunbi and Sojung. It shocked Yewon at first but she had quickly gotten over that initial reaction once Yuju's tail would start wagging as she told the puppy hybrid about what the two were up to while rubbing her back, Yuju always claiming her spot on Yewon's lap the second she would get home. It was encouraging to see. Especially with Yerin and SinB coming over on the weekend just like Sojung and Eunbi had. 

Yuju had seemed slightly nervous again when Yewon had told her about Yerin and SinB's upcoming plan to visit but here she was, peeking her head out the apartment window curiously to see if she could spot the two approaching. 

"Are you going to tell me when they're here?" Yewon asked with a smile. Yuju had responded with a firm nod, still staring outside. Yewon laughed under her breath before checking her phone messages for a second, seeing if anything had been sent to the group chat yet.

Before long, Yewon's phone vibrated at the same time that Yuju let out a small bark out of habit, spotting the promised pair walking towards the apartment from the parking lot.

Yewon nearly burst out laughing once the photo had properly loaded. The photo was of the outside of her apartment from a small distance away with Yuju clearly in the window, only the top of the puppy hybrid's head, dog ears and eyes able to be seen. 

[eunbi]: oh my god!!! shes the cutest!!
[sojung]: what a cute pup<3
[sojung]: make sure to say hi to her for me
[eunbi]: and give her the biggest hug for me!!

"Yewon! Yewon! They're here!" Yuju exclaimed as her tail wagged back and forth, wrapping her arms around Yewon's torso as soon as she had reached the other girl's side.

"They are." Yewon laughed. "Do you want to help me let them in?"

Yuju seemed to tense up a bit but her eagerness quickly pushed it away, the hybrid nodding and causing her dog ears to flop cutely with the motion.

Both Yerin and SinB seemed taken aback by Yuju's eagerness at their arrival but it was obvious that it was more than welcomed, Yerin smiling widely as Yuju was practically whimpering out of excitement while the puppy hybrid's tail wagged furiously behind her. 

"Hey, Yuju!" Yerin grinned as she was the first one to make her way inside. "Can you give me a second to put my bags down?"

Yuju whined but nodded as Yewon patted her head, nuzzling her face against the other girl. Yuju wasn't happy at all about waiting for Yerin to put her bags full of ingredients for dinner down on the kitchen table and that fact was more than enough to bring a warm smile onto Yewon's face as she pressed a small kiss against Yuju's head. SinB had closed and locked the door behind her as she made her way inside the apartment as well, turning her head to glance back at the excited Yuju who was currently staring intensely at her. 

"Why is she looking at me like that?" SinB asked with a small laugh. She tilted her head and Yuju reacted by mirroring the other girl's actions, her dog ears flopping to the side thanks to the movement. Yewon couldn't keep herself from laughing, running her fingers through Yuju's freshly combed out hair. 

"Yuju!" Yerin had returned, her arms free and held out towards the puppy hybrid. Yuju perked up immediately and Yewon let go, watching as Yuju darted towards Yerin eagerly. Yerin's arms were wrapped around Yuju's body in moments, laughing happily as the half puppy nuzzled against her. 

"Okay, who are you and what did you do with Yuju?" SinB joked. "There's no way that this is the same Yuju I met last time."

"Oh, Yuju." Yerin's voice was full of emotion, a slight bit of moisture shining in her eyes as she pressed a kiss against Yuju's head. "I've wanted to hug you like this for so long. I'm so happy that I finally get to."

Yuju's tail started to wag again, the puppy hybrid continuing to cuddle against Yerin's body while she turned her head to stare at SinB again. Yewon laughed as SinB gave Yuju another confused look. 

"Seriously. Why does she keep staring at me like that?" SinB raised an eyebrow. "Does my hair look weird today or do I have something on my face?"

"I think she's just curious about you, SinB." Yerin giggled to herself as Yuju made her way out of her arms and back into Yewon's, SinB letting out a small sigh in response.

"Should we get started on dinner?" Yewon asked, Yuju's staring at SinB not letting up the entire time. 

"That sounds like a good idea!" Yerin replied with a smile before directing her words towards the half puppy again, almost cooing at the girl with a cutesy tone. "Doesn't it, Yuju? Are you hungry?"

Yuju nodded eagerly, her dog ears flopping slightly with the movement.

Yerin and Yewon were quick to get started on cooking, Yerin taking over making most of the meal while Yewon helped as much as the older girl would let her. SinB had sat down on the couch in order to watch some TV, flicking through the channels to find something both her and Yuju could enjoy. Yuju was sitting on the other end of the couch, her stare still not letting up.

 "What kind of shows do you like to watch, Yuju?" SinB asked. "Do you like cartoons? Or nature shows?"

Yuju didn't respond and continued to stare at SinB's face, her tail wiggling behind her slightly at the sound of the other girl's voice. SinB noticed, a small smile appearing on her lips as she directed her gaze back to the TV, still browsing through the channels. But her browsing was quickly interrupted. 

Yuju had moved away from where she was sitting on the couch, making her way onto SinB's lap to sit down and get comfy against her. SinB was fully caught off guard, eyes widening in surprise as Yuju leaned her head against her shoulder and gripped at her shirt. 

"Oh my god." SinB breathed out, eyes glancing down at Yuju before over at Yerin and Yewon and then back down again. Yuju was starting to whine and the sound caused Yewon's head to turn. Once she spotted the situation playing out, Yewon let out a small laugh, catching Yerin's attention as well. SinB's eyes were full of confusion while Yuju whined for affection and the sight of it was hilarious. No wonder Yuju had been staring so intensely at SinB when she had come in. She clearly had just wanted SinB's attention but didn't know how to properly ask for it.

"Go on." Yerin called out with a grin on her face. "Hold her, SinB. That's what she wants."

 SinB seemed a little nervous but Yuju's continued whining was enough to convince her. Slowly, SinB wrapped her arms around Yuju's body, the puppy hybrid's tail wagging happily as she nuzzled against the other girl's shoulder. SinB smiled, rubbing her hand up and down Yuju's back slowly, trailing her fingers through long black hair in the process.

"It's like I'm actually getting to meet you for the first time." SinB chuckled. "I wasn't expecting this at all."

"You're...." Yuju's voice was finally heard, soft brown eyes staring up at the other girl. "....You're like a cat."

"A cat?" SinB raised an eyebrow. "Is that a complement?"

"Yeah." Yuju nodded. "I like cats."

 SinB seemed slightly flustered by Yuju's words but she made no move to let the puppy hybrid out of her arms, her hand still gently rubbing Yuju's back.

"You're lucky then." SinB said with a small grin. "I like puppies too."

 Yuju's eyes glistened at those words, earning another small laugh from the other girl. Yuju nuzzled her head back against SinB's shoulder, her gaze drifting back to the TV. SinB welcomed the silence, taking the opportunity to flick through the channels again like she had been doing before. Finding the channel that played mainly cartoon shows, SinB placed the remote down in order to trail her fingers through the puppy hybrid's soft black hair. Yuju was immediately interested in the new channel, curiously watching the commercials for various types of fun kids toys. SinB let out a small groan, however, when the commercials had ended and the current show started playing, recognizing the show as the one with a mascot that she disliked.

"How about we watch something else, Yuju?" SinB questioned as she started to move her arm to pick up the remote again. The response given wasn't made with words.

Yuju let out a growl the second she noticed that SinB was attempting to change the channel, eyes glancing over to the girl's extended hand before focusing back on the show. SinB had frozen in place, eyes widening slightly in surprise as she wasn't completely sure about what she had just heard. Slowly, SinB moved her hand towards the remote to see if she would get the same response. Yuju growled again and SinB had to fight back a laugh.

"Okay, okay." SinB ruffled Yuju's hair and dog ears playfully. "I won't change it. I promise."

Yuju let out a huff as she leaned into SinB's touch, her tail wagging as the show continued. Yerin had returned from the kitchen, taking a small break to check on Yuju while Yewon focused on keeping any ingredients from burning. Yerin quickly noticed exactly what show was playing on the TV, turning to SinB with a teasing smile on her face.

"I thought you hated this show, SinB."

"Yuju likes it." Was all that SinB said in response, shrugging nonchalantly while Yuju continued to cling to her shirt with one of her hands.

"That's so sweet of you." Yerin continued to tease. "My SinB is so caring."

"Shouldn't you be working on dinner?" SinB shot back, her cheeks clearly tinted red out of embarrassment thanks to Yerin's teasing.

"It's almost done." Yerin replied, sitting down next to the pair on the couch before placing her hand against Yuju's cheek and rubbing her thumb against the hybrid's soft skin affectionately. "Yewon is just finishing it up."

"That's good. I'm really getting hungry." SinB said, watching as Yuju took her attention away from the show for a few seconds to glance up at Yerin with a happy sparkle clearly showing in her eyes.

"It'll be ready in a few minutes." Yerin grinned while she stood up to return to Yewon's side. "It'll give you plenty of time to finish watching this episode with Yuju."

SinB was the one to huff this time, rolling her eyes before focusing on making sure that Yuju was still comfortable on her lap. Yerin let out a small giggle before returning back to Yewon and the homemade meal that was almost completed. Before long, the delicious dinner was spread out on Yewon's table and the four were all digging in, the air filled with happy conversations and continued teasing between Yerin and SinB. Yuju was too busy shoving food in to really join the conversations, Yewon cleaning her face off with a napkin while Yerin practically cooed over the puppy hybrid's childish actions. 

"That was so good." SinB said with a grin as she finished off her plate. "Its been so long since Yerin actually cooked dinner instead of ordering takeout. It's just as amazing as I remember it."

"Well, its a special occasion." Yerin smiled brightly at the complement. "Of course I had to make something homemade for Yewon and Yuju."

"It was absolutely amazing." Yewon smiled back. "Thank you, Yerin."

"Anytime." Yerin replied happily. "Thanks for helping me out too, Yewon."

"It was the least I could do." Yewon continued to smile before directing her glance over to Yuju who was finishing up her plate. "Say thank you, Yuju."

"Thank you, Yerin." Yuju said immediately before shoving the last bit of food into . Yewon placed a kiss against Yuju's head in response.

"You're very welcome, Yuju." Yerin replied with a gentle and loving smile before turning to SinB, placing a hand on her shoulder while standing up. "We should probably get going now though."

"It is getting dark out." SinB nodded. "We'll help clean up and then head out."
