It’s a few weeks before their 5th anniversary together and Seungcheol becomes nervous as he plan to propose to her on that day. He even already bought the wedding ring without anyone knowing

A week before their anniversary he asked help from his friends especially Jeonghan and Jisoo to prepare for the event. He brought all sort of things that she like but still thought that it’s not enough. Jeonghan and Jisoo were ensuring him that Haebin will love it as it is from him but he still feels like something is gonna happen but he just shrugged that thought away

 

~the anniversary day~

Seungcheol becomes more nervous as he’s nearing her house to pick her up for their date today that he even sweating although his car’s air conditioner is at maximum level already. As soon as she got on the car she greeted him and off they go to enjoy their date

 

Seungcheol continue driving to their last destination which is a restaurant where they first met

 

After eating they just chilling for a while until suddenly Seungcheol gets up from his seat and excuse himself to go to toilet. After a few minutes the lights goes out and there he stood in the middle of the mini stage with spotlight on him “this song is for you babe” he said while winking at her. He sing a song that he made himself with the help of his friend Jihoon

When the song ended she’s already drenched in tears as she feel sorry for him because of what she’ll do later. Seeing her cry he immediately run from the stage to go to her “why’re you crying babe? don’t cry i’ll always be here by yourside” hearing this make her cry even more and Seungcheol hug her tight while patting her back softly and whispering comforting words to her

When she finally calm down he took a seat beside her “now can you tell me why’re you crying earlier?” he asked her softly “i was just- what did i do to deserve you?” “hey hey look at me. it’s me who’s lucky to have you as my girlfriend” she smiles hearing that and both of them just stares at each other for a while “happy 5th anniversary babe” “happy 5th anniversary too cheol” she doesn’t have the heart to do it but she has to or the love of her life is going to suffer later 

Seungcheol readies himself with the ring and was about to propose to her when “Haebin-“ “Seungcheol, let’s break up”

 

And at that very moment Seungcheol felt like his world stop moving for a while “excuse me, what? you’re kidding right babe?” he said while looking at her unbelievably “no. i’m serious. let’s break up” “b-but why?” his eyes are now teary as he can’t and he won’t believe her words “i have someone else” “n-no you d-don’t. come on Haebin come up with a better joke bc this is not funny” he keep on denying her words but he knows her very well that she’s not joking right now “thank you for these past 5years Seungcheol i really appreciate it and i’ll cherish it forever. i’ll be going now. bye Seungcheol *my love*” and she left Seungcheol alone at the restaurant crying his eyes out

After he realised that she’s leaving he runs after her only to found out that she’s leaving with another guy’s car that he has never seen before. Seeing this makes him realised that he’s really losing her so he dialled Jeonghan and Jisoo to accompany him to a bar to drink his sorrow away

 

Seeing their friends who looked like a mess in front of them makes their heart scattered. They tried to stop him from drinking but he push them away saying “she left me. she left me for another guy. on our anniversary. SHE LEFT ME ON THE DAY I WAS SUPPOSED TO PROPOSE HER TO BE MY WIFE” he raged toward his friends and they don’t know what to say and do but sympathy for their friend. They accompany him until he’s knock out and they brought him back to his house. 

 

“shall we call Haebin?” Jisoo asked to Jeonghan who’s just come out from Seungcheol's bedroom “let’s give it a try. maybe she had her reason” and so they call her
