One Sweet Day     Yongsun boldly tells Wheein she loves her; Wheein keeps on being afraid. Wheein is Yongsun's unrequited love; Yongsun is Wheein's mysterious love. When will they have the courage to look at each other the same way at the same time?       "Yongsun unnie! I want you to meet my girlfriend in person. You should come with us on our next date." Byulyi texted her favorite unnie, the only one who knows about her love life.   "Wow. I guess you finally had the courage to ask someone out, huh? But let's just meet next time. When I also have someone to introduce to you. I promise you will be the first one to meet her too." Yongsun replied. Of course, Byulyi knows about Yongsun's dilemma in her love life. Like how her unnie was secretly crushing on her junior friend in university. They were on different levels and different courses. They just met in the music club and ever since, they became inseparable.   "Oh my gosh, unnie! That will be special. Let's have a double date then. You should ask that junior of yours for a date already, unnie. You've been crushing on her for too long and I still have yet to meet her." Byulyi replied to Yongsun without knowing that the girl on the other end of line was blushing just thinking about it.   "Yeah. Yeah, Byul-ah. As if it's easy like that. Hey, I gotta go. I will be meeting with Wheein in a few." Yongsun replied without thinking that she slipped her crush's name.   Byulyi did not reply, instead, she called Yongsun. When Yongsun picked up the call, the first thing she heard was Byulyi slightly laughing.   "Yah! Why are you laughing? What's so funny that you had to call me when I clearly told you that I have to go?" Yongsun asked the girl laughing on the other line.   "So unnie, Wheein's her name?" Byulyi teasingly asked. Byulyi was a witty girl and she was hard to fool so Yongsun did not have a chance to feign ignorance about who was Wheein and why was her name being brought up.   "Huh? Yah! How did you know her name?" Yongsun still clueless about her slip, answered.   "Unnie, I know all of your friends' names except for your crush and you just texted me that you will be meeting with a Wheein when I know how much you don't want to leave your room and how much you love your luxurious bed. It's obvious that your crush is the one you will be going out with. Am I right, unnie?" Byulyi explained in a teasing voice that Yongsun almost spouted a curse word at the younger girl.   "I swear, Byulyi, you will be the death of me. Don't you dare stalk her or whatever. I will kill you. I swear." Of course, Yongsun did not really mean that but maybe a good beating would do.   "You're the one who slipped unnie. But yeah yeah. I won't stalk her. I promise. And unnie, seriously, you gotta move now. My Dahee's been bugging me to meet you."   "Again, it's not that easy, Byul-ah." Yongsun sighed thinking that she really had no chance with her crush in addition to her being a big coward.   "But unnie, everything's hard; the least you can do is try. Okay? That's what you told me last time when I was being afraid of ending my flirting stage with Dahee unnie and take the next level." Byulyi's voice became serious, as she knows how the one who said cannot really apply one’s advice.   The other end of the line just continued in being silent when finally Yongsun got a courage and just hummed as an answer to Byulyi. Sensing how her unnie fell into a deep thought, Byulyi then just bid her farewells.   "Okay. Bye unnie. You said you would be meeting with your crush. And I gotta go now too. Love you, unnie."   "Love you too, Byul. Stay safe." Yongsun answered before the line went dead.   ***   Yongsun met Wheein at the cafe they often went. Yongsun could not help but think about Byulyi's request and teasing. Unconsciously, she kept on looking at Wheein who was busy making her presentation. But she must had looked a lot that it started to make Wheein feel a bit embarrassed.   "Unnie, why do you keep on staring?" Wheein asked patting her reddening face thinking that she might had something on her face.   "Wheein-ah." Yongsun called Wheein in a serious tone.   "Ye-yeah, unnie?" Wheein stuttered seeing how Yongsun's stare was piercing her soul. But that did not last long as if Yongsun was possessed one second and the other second, she came back to herself, Yongsun's face suddenly had a glowing red tint.   "Uhhhh...." Yongsun zoned out.   "Unnie. What is it?" Wheein asked with a puzzled look on her face. She was questioning in her head why Yongsun was acting like this. It was not the same Yongsun who were always playful with her. There must be something that was boggling her and Wheein wanted to help ease her mind.   "Canyoubemypretendgirlfriendforvalentinesday?" Yongsun got a little courage and finally blurted out.   "Huh? Poor Wednesday? What? I really didn't get that. Sorry. What was it again?" Yongsun did not stutter but she said it so fast that all Wheein could pick up was "poor Wednesday" which did not make any sense at all.   "Canyoubemypretendgirlfriendonvalentinesday?"   "Unnie...breathe and speak slower or at least normally, please?" Wheein said with a visible deep frown on her face.   If Yongsun was not nervous, she would have squealed in delight with how Wheein looked so cute sporting that deep frown and pout. So Yongsun took a deep breath to get this over with before letting out, "can you be my pretend girlfriend on valentine's day?" By the end of her line, Yongsun's face was the color of every heart decoration inside the cafe they were in.   Wheein was speechless, shocked beyond words can express making Yongsun nervous more than she was moments ago.   "You're joking me, right?" Wheein let out an unsure laugh.   "Byulyi keeps on bugging me about having a double date on valentine's day and you know I don't have that many friends and I also know you like someone else and you already told me that we were just better off friends but it was just for valentine's day, I promise and I will not-" Yongsun was cut short by Wheein's hand on her blabbering mouth.   "Unnie, hold your horses. I already got your point in your first words. And okay. I'm fine with it." Wheein finished with a smile.   "Mhmmnhmhmnmnnn!!!"   "Unnie?" Wheein asked Yongsun with a questioning look.   Yongsun's eyes darted at Wheein's hand that was still on . Wheein let go of Yongsun's mouth immediately after understanding what Yongsun was meant to say.   "Sorry." Wheein released a chuckle the same time Yongsun released a sigh both of relief that Wheein finally let her breathe and Wheein agreeing to be her date. But after that thought got processed properly by Yongsun's mind, her blood rushed to her face once again so she excused herself to the restroom with an alibi of fixing her smudged lipstick done by Wheein and rushed to do so.   Meanwhile, Wheein just looked on to the direction Yongsun rushed off to because Wheein knew that Yongsun was not one to wear any make up without any special occasions.   ***   "Wheein-ah. Byulyi's good at picking things up. She's not easy to fool. Let's not get caught, okay?" Yongsun said to Wheein while nervously looking at the restaurant's entrance every now and then.   Wheein looked at Yongsun with a coy glint in her eyes that seemed to be unnoticeable by the currently tensed Yongsun. Being the prankster that she was, she could not help but tease the overly anxious girl. "It's easy for you, unnie. You like me. You won't have any problems acting all lovey-dovey to me. If only you're one of those Kim sisters." Wheein faked sighed while acting disappointed after looking at Yongsun from head to toe. "You're a Kim but why?" Wheein gestured to Yongsun's whole being, clearly teasing. She even shook her head before sighing once again.   "Yah! You're being too much right now. If you hate me that much, you shouldn't have agreed in the first place." Yongsun ranted with a scowl on her face. She snorted before facing the entrance not bothering to look at her naughty crush who was grinning widely. "As if MY cousins would ever date you." Yongsun murmured not caring whether Wheein heard her or not.   "Aww unnie. Don't get too jealous now. You know I will be smacked by Jessica unnie if I ever tried to get a move on your cousins. Besides, you know I don't have anyone to date today and I prefer to be with you than be the third wheel to Hyejin and Jiyeon all day. I don't want to vomit all the food I ate this week, you know?" Wheein said with exaggerated actions to lighten up the mood. She knew how much of a sulker her unnie was and she found it cute every single time but Yongsun's smile was way much better so she stopped teasing her this time.   Yongsun glared at the grinning Wheein before scoffing. When Yongsun was gonna say something, Byulyi's loud voice could be heard from the entrance of the restaurant making Yongsun turn her head fast hurting herself. "Ouch!" Wheein was quick on her feet and was beside Yongsun in no time, tending to the hurt girl. "Unnie. Be careful. I heard your neck snapped from where I was seating." Wheein worriedly said to the pained Yongsun while massaging her neck carefully.   "Wow. What a lovely welcome. I didn't know you're into PDA, Yongsun unnie." Byulyi said from Wheein's back making it looked like Wheein was kissing Yongsun's neck.   "Yah! Byulyi-ah! You're late! You're the one who invited us yet you're late." Yongsun yelled at Byulyi hiding her red face after smacking Wheein's face that was too close for her own comfort. Not that she really minded, but she was so close into bursting.   "Well, I had to fetch this big baby. My baby." Byulyi said with a grin putting her arm around her tall girlfriend's waist. "Yongsun unnie, this is Dahee unnie, my girlfriend. Baby, she's Yongsun unnie, the one I always told you about." Byulyi first introduced the two following by everyone's introduction with each other. When everyone has already seated around the table with the partners sitting in front of each other, and ready to order, Wheein called for a waiter. After ordering, Yongsun asked Byulyi where she found such beautiful girlfriend. "Yah unnie. She's mine. Back-off." Byulyi retaliated.   "I'm not a stealer, hamster. I just might exchange her for you. I prefer her to be my friend instead of an annoying dongsaeng like you. Besides, look at her. We have the same style."
