The echoes of laughter were interrupted by the sound of a phone ringing.

Seulgi mentally cursed and immediately turned off her phone, hoping no one noticed.

But her little prayer wasn’t heard because of the sudden terrifying silence followed by a knock on the cubicle where she’s in.

“Hello, hello, who’s there?”

Seulgi was scared less.

There was no way out. So, she sat at the corner crying, hugging her knees trembling, hoping they’ll just leave her alone.

But again, luck wasn’t on her side.

They started kicking the door and it soon flung open.

“No, please” she begged as she saw their faces.

It really was who she suspected it to be.

“Well well, hi Seulgi” Mr. Joon stepped inside and the two other men followed, all smirking.

“Why isn’t she answering?” Wendy looked at the disconnected call.

“Something wrong?” JunHyun, one of their managers asked.

“Oppa, Seulgi’s not answering her phone. Can you check her inside the building? I think she went to the 4th floor restroom”

“arasseo, wait for me here” the guy left the van and entered the company.

He took the elevator and found it strange when he got to the said floor level.

The outside of the elevator, which was the entrance to the offices there, was guarded by securities.

He was immediately stopped by the guards and warned him that only authorized personnel can enter, a.k.a only the bosses can be there.

He didn’t argue because they were actually right.

“But have you, just in case, seen Seulgi?” He asked one of the guards but they gave him a no with their stern faces

He went back to the elevator and searched for the lower grounds but found no one.

Wendy saw their manager approach the van alone so she asked where’s Seul, Oppa? Did you not find her?

“No. maybe she forgot she’s with you and went straight home?”

Wendy was uneasy but yeah, sometimes the bear can be forgetful so she thought that could happen.

“Alright, let’s drive you home” manager Junhyun started the engine and was about to push down the hand brake when the kpop idol talked again

“But what if she didn’t go home?” it was obvious how worried she was

“Then you guys wait for her to get home. Come on Seungwan, Seulgi is big enough to find her way back.”

“ok. Let’s go” she sighed in surrender.

“P—please” Seulgi pleaded with all the strength she had

“Oh no Princess, do you think we will let you go that easily?”

“Pl-please. J—Joohyun unnie must be looking for me now. I- I won’t s—say anything. P—please”

Seulgi cried even harder when Mr. Joon touched her cheek, turning her head and closing her eyes.

“Oh Princess, why are you so scared? We won’t kill you” he said as he snatched her phone from her pocket

“Yet”

He gave the phone to the two men behind him and ordered them to open it and text her members

“Sent” said Mr. Park

“Now shall we go to my office and talk? What do you think, Seulgi?”

Wendy got home without a trace of her best friend on their dorm

“Seulgi’s not here yet?” she asked Joy

“Didn’t you two go together?” the tall girl answered.

Meanwhile Yeri, who just finished her bath joined her unnies in the living room “You’re home, Unnie? Did you buy food?”

“hm? Ah yes, I bought Tteokbokki and jokbal.” Wendy, even though her mind’s been thinking of Seul, still managed to remember to bring home food for the others

“assa! I’ll call Joohyun Unnie so we can eat” the maknae ran to the leader’s room and called her.

The leader was holding her phone, reading something when she approached her members

“Seulgi texted me” she remarked and it made Wendy turn her attention to the oldest in a flash

“What did she say? She disappeared all of a sudden” the main vocal stated and peeked at Irene’s phone.

The message said;

Unnie, don’t wait for me to come home.

I have to go to my parent’s house.

It’s an emergency.

“Must be very important. I just hope everything’s fine”
