That was last year. Ever since then, Chaeyeon has been training her left hand as she was embarrassed by the fact that Eunbi was always around her, helping her out with mundane tasks. Eunbi, on the other hand, was glad to help her out since she was the one who caused Chaeyeon to be in this situation anyway. Unbeknownst to Chaeyeon, Eunbi has also been studying ancient books in her family’s library, seeking solutions to fix the severed veins. Looking at how things have been going for the past year, Eunbi couldn’t help but be disappointed at the zero progression. She heard a knock at the door. Peeling her eyes away from yet another ancient medicine book she was reading, she raises an eyebrow, already feeling annoyed at being interrupted. The annoyance vanished from her face when she realizes who was coming into her room.

Eunbi kept an eyebrow raised as she looks at the figure stroll into her sight. The older woman only hums in acknowledgment, her eyes drifting to the open pages of an ancient book. “Since when are you interested in vampire medicine?” Eunbi nonchalantly shrugs a shoulder, not giving her mother a response.
