“With his first time guesting on Yoo Quiz On The Block, please welcome South Korea’s one man, Kim Jong Kook!”   Jong Kook smiled brightly at the cameras, waving his hand shyly as he made his way to the chair that sat between Yu Jae Suk and Cho Sae Ho.   “Aigo~, Kookjong-ah! What’s this you’re doing, being all shy and meek?” Jae Suk teased right from the start, reaching out to shake his dongsaeng’s hand.   Jong Kook shook his hand and chuckled, “Yah, hyung! Don’t do this to me this early on.” He turned to Sae Ho and shook his hand too.   “It’s good to see you, Jong Kook hyung,” Sae Ho greeted the other man.   “Likewise, Sae Ho-yah.”   They all took a seat and then began the interview.   “First of all, Jong Kook-ah, let’s talk about that new album you just released,” Jae Suk said.   “Ye, hyung. My new mini album, entitled ‘A Special You,’ was released yesterday at 5pm. I worked on it for 2 years, and I thought it was a good time to release it now. The album has a total of 5 songs, which I think a lot of my fans would relate to at some level,” Jong Kook explained. He then looked towards the main camera, “To the viewers, I hope you will listen to the new album. Please give it much love.”   Jae Suk and Sae Ho clapped for a moment before settling down.   “Speaking of your album, the title track is entitled ‘Lucky To Have You,’ right Jong Kook hyung?” Sae Ho asked.   “Neh, Sae Ho-yah,” Jong Kook replied.   “And its music video will be released when, hyung?”   “This Wednesday - the video will go up on my official Youtube channel at 5pm.”   Jae Suk added in, “The title track was exceptional, Jong Kook-ah. ‘Lucky To Have You’ was so sincere, even my wife said it had to be one of your best,” Jae Suk complimented, to which Jong Kook responded with a grateful smile.   “Ye, hyung! I was listening to it last night, I could swear I cried during the chorus,” Sae Ho added. “I don’t even have a girlfriend at the moment, but it was just a different kind of experience listening to it.”   Jong Kook smiled broadly, “I’m glad you loved it. I had thought of its concept while cycling near Han River a few years ago. I even had to stop cycling so I could write down on my phone some of the lyrics that popped into my head — I didn’t want to lose any bit of it.”   At the mention of Han River, Jae Suk’s eyes sharpened and his encouraging smile gained a teasing feel.   “Ah, I believe a special someone was with you at Han River, hence being the catalyst of such an album; am I right, Kookjong-ah?” Jae Suk pushed, reaching out to nudge Jong Kook playfully.   “Han namja! Han namja!” Sae Ho whooped and clapped, as Jong Kook dropped his head to hide the bashful smile that overtook his face. “Uri han namja is in love!”   It was an unusual sight to see Mr. Capable himself reduced into a blushing mess at the mention of a significant other.   “Ah, you two…stop it,” Jong Kook tried to wave away Jae Suk’s and Sae Ho’s teasing.   “And I also believe this special someone goes by the name of…Song Ji Hyo?” Jae Suk nudged Jong Kook playfully once again, successfully bringing out more of the redness that crept up the muscled man’s cheeks.   That one name brought out such an uproar with the filming crew too, eliciting so many “Oh~”s and claps from all of them.   “So, what about Song Ji Hyo?” Jong Kook tried to save face and act tough, but he was betrayed by the still-present blush on his cheeks and now also his neck.   “Hyung, I can still remember when you hadn’t revealed your relationship with Ji Hyo noona yet, you used to always just say you were both family,” Sae Ho said.   One could imagine the tiger snarl sound effect that would be added on later when Jong Kook glared at Sae Ho. Though in reality, there
