When I Look At You
MISCONCEPTIONAfter their meal, Jisoo waved at Seulgi asking for their bill.
Seulgi immediately went to their table and gave the bill to Jisoo. Then she took her wallet out from her pocket.
"Why are you taking your wallet out? I am the one who is gonna be paying for all of these." Jennie told Jisoo who was busy taking out something from her wallet.
Jisoo glanced and smiled at Jennie when she saw her face.
"This is our first date remember? So, I should be the one paying for our meal. Besides, our deal makes it all up for our fight." She winked at the woman.
"I didn't even agreed to it!" Jennie retorted.
Jisoo took another glance at her as she placed the payment on the tray. "You didn't disagree to it either." She smirked at her.
She got up from her seat and walked to Jennie's side. "Let's go. I gotta take you home first."
Jisoo grabbed her hand and walked out of the restaurant. She opened the door for Jennie. As soon as she is seated comfortably inside, Jisoo closed the door and walked to the driver's side.
"Wear your seatbelt first." She glanced at the woman.
"Oh— I..." Jennie was about to get the seatbelt when Jisoo already leaned close to her to reach for the buckle.
Jennie pulled her head back until she's completely leaning on the headrest when she realized how close Jisoo's face is to hers.
She noticed the woman's reaction so she whispered upon fastening her seatbelt. "Don't worry, I won't kiss you...well of course, unless you want me to." She smirked at the woman while she started the car.
"Crazy!" Jennie tried to hit Jisoo's shoulder lightly when suddenly...
"It's kinda your fault though." She caught Jennie's small hand and interlaced it with hers, filling the gap between each fingers. Jisoo slightly turned her head and smiled at Jennie.
"I was going to hold your hand until you get home, but you know... I gotta drive." She winked at Jennie, she quickly removed her hand from Jisoo's grip.
"Just— just take me home." She shyly looked away and smiled on her own, not wanting to show Jisoo.
After a few minutes and they already arrived in front of Jennie's home.
"Thanks for driving me home." Jennie unfastened her seatbelt and was about to get out of the car when Jisoo grabbed Jennie's wrist to stop her.
"Wait." Jisoo went out of the car and walked around to the passengers side, then she opened the door for the petite woman.
"Now you can get out of the car." She reached out her hand to Jennie. Of course the woman didn't take it, and just got out of the car casually.
"Thanks again for taking me home. Goodnight." She then turned around and walked to her house.
Jisoo leaned her back against her car with both of her hands in her pocket, watching Jennie go inside the house. "I'll pick you up tomorrow."
"What? Why?" She stopped her steps and turned around to look at Jisoo.
"It's a secret." She winked again at the woman and went inside her car.
Jennie's POV
Today I woke up really early. Actually I haven't slept much because Jisoo's annoying face just kept on flashing on my mind every time that I close my eyes.
"That stupid Jisoo! Is she really serious about that deal?" I rolled myself on the bed from left to right, thinking how I got myself into this situation.
"Date me."
"Ahhhhhhh!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I kept on hearing her voice inside my head.
"Date me until Lisa gets back from Beijing... After that, I won't bother you anymore...well of course, unless you want me to stay."
"Why do I keep on hearing her voice inside my head?!" I scratched my head aggressively while kicking my feet up in the air.
I got up and sat on my bed.
"And why is she waiting for Lisa to get back from Beijing? It's not like Lisa would actually want to do anything with me."
Then all of a sudden, a long vibrating noise snapped me out of my reverie.
I lazily grabbed my phone at the bedside table. Without even looking at who the caller is, I answered the call.
"Hello?" I said lazily.
"I'm outside your house, meet me up within... five minutes. If you're late, you're dead!" The person from the other end of the call said to me.
I squinted my eyes, trying to remember if I have plans this morning. Then I walked out of bed, and went to my bedroom window to look outside. I was so startled when I saw Jisoo outside our house, sitting on the hood of her car with her arms crossed, and it seems to me th
