So sometimes I read stories and the color selection is horrible. It hurts my eyes, and just looks bad. Now, it isn't the colors themselves, but the color combo. Examples:
-
Bright Font with a Bright Text Select {Color}
-

-
Dull Font with a Dull Text Select {Color}

Another thing I see is Extremely bright Text. There isn't any text select to dim it down a bit, so I end up hurting my eyes. Examples:
- TEXT TEXT
Dos {Color}
If you are going to use a Bright or Dull color with a text select, please do one of the following:
-
Use a bright text color on its complimentary dull text select color. Also Bold the text, so it's easier to read. Believe me it makes a difference if it's bolded or not (This will be explained later)

If you are going to use a dull color use a text select color that is bright; make sure that the text seclect color is complimentary to the dull color. Bold the text as well.
