And after 1, 2, 3 rings, Seungwan answers with a husky, “Hello,” and Joohyun releases a relief sigh and the back of her eyes burns, because it’s Seungwan and Joohyun’s whip like that and she just wants to cry.

“Hey…” She croaked, and she heard Seungwan shuffle and clear , “Something wrong, Unnie?” She asked her worriedly, and Joohyun wants to say ‘Yes’ and be like any garbage main lead and say ‘no’ instead, but she’s not cheesy like that so she answers, “Yes...there is.”

And Seungwan was worried now. Great, Bae Joohyun, worry the person whom you should be worried about.

And Joohyun let out a teary laugh and Seungwan stopped whatever babble she could think of and listened, listened to Joohyun’s breathing which slowly turned to a grimace and a muffled sob.

And Seungwan wants nothing more but to hug her, kiss her, and tell her that it’s okay.
