Is this how love feels, to always yearn for you?

Telling myself that I am always not good enough for you. Telling myself that letting you go is for your own good.

The truth is that I am just a coward who can't tell you how I feel.

If I have a chance to go through life again, I want to be your equal.

A friend, not someone who looks out for you from afar.

I want to be the one who listens to you all day, to keep your secrets safe and sound. To always be there for you no matter what.

But life has no replays. I can only reminisce the times we shared and wondering of all the what-ifs and maybes.

I don't ask for you to be in my life again. I just want you to be happy always. And I hope that someone loves you in my place.
