The clock reads: twelve twenty-six, AM.

In this hour, everyone is expected to be on their comfortable beds, lying down, huddled in their soft mattresses and fluffy duvets, all set up for another day. Everyone is in the safety of their own homes, with the exception of a particular young adult, temporarily employed on the graveyard shift of this 24/7 establishment.

Jaehyun made his university break productive by working part-time at this convenience store just along the road nearby. This was not his idea, really. His boyfriend, Taeyong, told him about the job. It wasn’t like he was forced to take up on the offer, but he took it and signed up anyway. The extra money will help him pay his debts.

Being the heartthrob he is, he thought about surprising the love of his life by buying that Rilakkuma kigurumi Taeyong had always wanted, when he gets his first pay on this job.

But, along the middle, things happened. Now, Taeyong is his ex. Jaehyun tried to resign on his internship before it started, but was stopped by a couple of friends. Johnny, his best friend and roommate, told him that it’s better to be occupied at times like these rather than staying at the dorms.

And at this moment, he’s stuck here at this lifeless place – with nobody to accompany him.

hello! this is my first ever fanfic, that although not the best, i'm quite proud to show off!!

i wrote this way back in june 2019, when i got nothing to do at home. it stayed in the drafts until i decided i wanted to show it to others. jaeyong is life x^D

although i wrote this fic, i, in no way, am forcing the ship. we're all just having our little fan happiness :^> this is a delusion, and will always be a delusion :^)
