“I’m ugly. Do you think I should change my appearance?”

“You’re beautiful. Believe me, because I won’t lie to you.”

I stared at the picture of the note. Reminded that time when I started to gain confidence. But due to some circumstances, I needed to change my looks. For my safety.

I was lost in my thoughts once again. Wishing I could go back in time where everything wasn’t in chaos. 

I looked at him after he wrote it on the note I gave him.

“But people bully me because of my look.” I looked down again at the note in my hand. 

“Don’t let them affect you. They are too blind to see the beauty I saw in you.” He bent down his head to look in my eyes. I stare back at him like I’m drawn to him.

“I’ll always remember you.”

Will you still remember me after the changes in me in all these years?
