It was an unremarkable day. There was nothing special scheduled, just a couple of meetings about the most recent D&E promotions so both Donghae and Eunhyuk were fairly relaxed when they entered the van.

It was then the first mistake happened. Donghae was about to get in first as usual but Eunhyuk stopped him, getting himself in the van first claiming mindlessly about a view and scenery. What he didn’t know was that  he will regret this spilt second decision that will haunt him in the years to come.

“Did you go to  the new burger place on fifth street?” Eunhyuk asked casually as the van started to move, seating himself in the left side of the vehicle.

“No I didn’t. Is it any good?” Donghae replied curiously.

“Yeah, it’s amazing! Just like the one we visited in New York that you loved so much” 

“Really? Manager-Hyung! Let’s go past the fifth street so we can stop at the new burger place!” Donghae said enthusiastically as their manager laughed and agreed.

That was Eunhyuk’s second mistake.There wasn’t anything out of the ordinary about their conversation or their decision. Eunhyuk didn’t have a single malicious thought in his mind when he mentioned the burger place. He simply wanted to enjoy a meal with the other.

“Oh look isn’t that Siwon? His face is on the billboards again. It’s from his newest drama I think.” Eunhyuk laughed pointing out at the billboard which could be seen from his side of the van.

“Yeah it is. The viewers will definitely go crazy for him.” Donghae joined in straining his head to get a better look.

That was Eunhyuk’s third and final mistake. If he hadn’t pointed it out, Donghae would have been looking out of his window. And if he had been looking he would have noticed it coming. But he wasn’t. Three sim
