Jay Park: "I'm bored... Let's make a boygroup"

That's basically what happened. For years the Korean hip hop scene and the regular k-pop scene have been sort of separated. From time to time a rare collab happened, but that was more of an exception than a rule, so that needed to change. And let there be only one man that could make something like that happen. The great Jay Park himself. Coming from an idol group in the past, he had the skills and knowledge to make this group work out.

MISFIT seemed to be the perfect name for these boys. Coming from a hiphop label they weren't your standard boy group, nor did they fit into the hiphop standards. No matter how you look at them, they're not like the others. But CEO Park was sure these obstactles where the things that would make this group a huge success.

Though, not everyone is too sure about that. Are they really the underdogs in the music scene that will end up winning the hearts of the audience or will they forever be the outcasts? Were the sacrifices worth it? And most importantly, will Jay Park's pride get hurt or not?

So I had this idea about a year ago about an idol group debuting under a hip hop label and for those who are now like "but Nele, that was a girlgroup and now you're making a boygroup." Don't worry, the girl group will follow, but I have other plans in mind for that. THEY WILL COME SOON I PROMISE, but for now, let's just focus on the boys first.
