Chapter 1 [I want to talk to you]

The little book fairy

"You're finally here! You must have been busy since you were all over the news for almost every day!" His aunt happily praising while patting his back.
"Yeah and I've decided to come back since I'm on a one month break. Although it's a shame that I couldn't join mom and dad on their trip since they left much earlier."
"Well, it's okay. You'll still be a able to see them for a while before you go back. So accompany the lonely me here for a while kay?" She gave a cheeky smile. After that they continued their little chat since it had been a while since they've met. It was an enjoyable time for him until they heard a knock. The door slowly opened. It was the girl from before and she bought coffee for them.
"Ah, that's so thoughtful of you. Thank you!" His aunt complimented and she gave a small bow before exiting. Delighted by her appearance, Namjoon examine the coffee that she made. It's just regular coffee but maybe because she was the one who brew it, the drink gave him a sense of sweetness as he savoured the taste. He couldn't stop the fond smile on his face. Bewildered by his actions, a smirk was seen from his aunt.
"Oho, I got to see something interesting," she said while the clueless Namjoon continued to enjoy his coffee.
"Hey, you want to help me out here?"
"Why? Are you short on staff?"
"Not really but I'm just giving my cute nephew a little helping hand to get to know a certain someone," she sarcastically said to him.
"Someone?"
While still wearing the smirk on her face, she pointed somewhere. Namjoon trace it and she was pointing at the little fairy.
"Don't you want to get to know her better? As far as I know, you don't have a large with her and she's a good girl. So are you interested in working here?" She offered again. He contemplated for a moment.
"If you're willing to have me."
"Well, it's decided then but you'll be in the kitchen since it'll be a problem if those fans of yours knew that you're here." That remark suddenly hit him.
"What about her? Do you happen to know whether she had any interest with idols?"
"Ah, you don't have to worry about that. I think she hardly knew any idol's name or face at all and she only knows you as my nephew and nothing more. That girl is quite a sad person anyway." The atmosphere suddenly dropped. Just when Namjoon was about to ask for reasons his aunt stopped and insisted that he get the answer from the person itself.
"But as an early warning, I might break some of your stuff while I'm here," he warned seriously.
"I wouldn't worry about that judging from how much you're earning," she replied while laughing.
Since they wanted to celebrate Namjoon's arrival, his aunt prepared a feast. Of course the little lady was invited as well but he was so absorbed in his own thoughts about what to talk about so he wouldn't sound awkward or weird in front of her that in the end they didn't get to talk at all. Seeing how troubled Namjoon was, his aunt couldn't help but to feel bad for him.
"Why don't you walk her home? It not safe for a lady to walk alone at this hour anyway," She gave Namjoon a wink and whispered 'Good luck' to him before sending him off. The first few steps were quiet because he really doesn't know what to talk about and he was also wondering why is the street so dark? It's might be normal since it is night time but it was strangely 'extra' dark that day.
"Hey, I only know you as Mr.Namjoon so can you tell me your full name?" She asked. Namjoon, who was caught off guard stuttered with his reply.
"K-Kim Namjoon. It's Kim Namjoon." Hearing his panicked reply, she couldn't help but to giggle.  That marked the start of their conversation. He then learned that she just recently started entering college while doing part time to support herself. After several minutes of walking, they were finally there.
"We're here. Thank you for walking me."
It was a rather simple house but what bothers Namjoon was, no lights were .
"Is no one home?" He asked.
"I'm the only one that live here."
"Your family?"
"I was an only child. Both of them had an unfortunate accident few years ago."
Hearing it made Namjoon regrets his own curiosity. Upon seeing his worried face, she quickly gave a smile which Namjoon considered as a 'forced' smile and he didn't like it one bit.
"Ah! Sorry I didn't mean to sound so depressed right now. I mean I still have relatives that are nearby. They'll visit sometimes to see whether I'm doing okay or not and-"
"Okay okay. Just go rest for now. You have class tomorrow right?" Namjoon cut her off and gave her head a pat. Due to Namjoon's height, she had to look upward to face him. Looking at him closely, he might actually be quite a good looking man.
"Umm, I've been wondering Mr. Namjoon,"
"Just call me Namjoon," he corrected.
"If you say so. N-Namjoon."
Suddenly Namjoon cute meter broke. She was so lovely that it's making him go crazy. A true blessing to be alive to witness this cuteness.
"Is it okay for me to see your face without the sunglasses?" She asked. Dragging him back to reality. Sunglasses? Then he realized. He unconsciously wore his sunglasses throughout the day. He had totally forgotten about it's existence. No wonder it was extra dark outside. Surrounded by his feeling of embarrassment, he curl up into a ball to hide himself. "Why am i always this clumsy?" He thought to himself.
"I made a fool out of myself," he mumbled but this time, she heard him.
"I think you look cool though," she squats down so they could be on the same level. Thinking how silly it was, both of them couldn't help but laughed. He took off his glasses revealing his entire face feature to her.
"Oh! You're quite the handsome man Namjoon," she said while continue admiring his face. Namjoon still wasn't sure whether she was feigning ignorance about him or she really had no idea who he was. It's not that he's being all haughty by saying everyone would recognize him but most of them got the general idea of who he was since he's always on the news nowadays. Nevertheless, receiving a compliment from her did made him happy.
