The bass thumped and bodies writhed, following the beat of the music in a show of passion and lust. Iseul looked out over the crowd, his crowd, from the VIP section above. It wasn't often that he made it out to the clubs as of late. He used to frequent them every weekend and some nights during the week. He used to be flocked by men and women alike, all interested in the 'exotic rapper' of the underground. Now he stood alone, no mic in hand and no bars dropping from his lips. It felt wrong.

Iseul had been a performer for years now, but once he had signed a contract everything had changed. He had no lover. He had no career, at least not yet. He felt trapped, almost as if he had made a mistake. But he hadn't. Once his group debuted, once he got back out onto stage, everything would change once more. He would become Red, the baddest underdog to walk out onto the stage. YG would regret dropping his contract and all those who doubted him would eat their words. If only it would happen already though. If only they could mesh together well enough to debut. He hated waiting, especially on others when he had no control.

"This ." He grumbled to himself quietly. He picked up his drink and finished it off. He didn't want to be in the building anymore, not when he couldn't do the one thing he loved, the one thing that brought his peace. He threw down a couple of bills and stood to leave, leaving behind a card on the table alongside the bills. He may not be able to stand on stage yet, but that didn't mean he couldn't try to draw fans in.

'Midnight will be Luminous.'

author's note: this isn't much as of yet, but it's a bit of an intro into Red's mind and the story. he is very impatient and wants to get on stage as quickly as he can.
