Lisa entered the building carrying a huge box filled with stuffed toys she would be donating to the orphanage her class was going to later. It was an annual outreach program of their department and her class was the one who spearheaded the event this year. Lisa was struggling to maintain her balance since the box was quite heavy and she was surprised to have made it to her building unscathed. She was already near the elevator when a guy suddenly appeared in front of her and grabbed the box from her hands and made his way towards the elevator. Lisa was initially dumbfounded but came right back to her senses after a few seconds and followed the guy to the elevator.

"Hey you can give it back, I can manage." Lisa said as she attempted to take the box back from the guy.

"It's fine your classmates told me to help you." Lisa froze as she heard the voice. She didn't notice it was him at all because she was too tired and in shock awhile ago. Of all the people who could've helped her, why does it need to be Oh Sehun? Lisa sighed.

"It's fine really, I'm sorry for the bother." Lisa once again tried to take the box from Sehun but he wouldn't budge.

"Just let me carry it, you already carried it all the way to the building." Sehun said in a low voice which made Lisa just give a defeated sigh.

The elevator finally came and they were the only passengers much to Lisa's dismay. Their floor was at the 12th and the elevator was annoyingly slow. It was kind of awkward so Lisa decided to speak because she couldn't handle the silence. Lisa cleared and asked, "Why did my classmates ask for your help? You aren't even in our department."

"Our department chair asked our class to join your outreach program for some unknown reason." Sehun answered without even sparing her a glance.

She could only mutter an "Oh" and decided not to ask again. Lisa felt something tugging at the pit of her stomach and her chest felt tighter. The elevator finally reached the 12th floor and Lisa stepped out immediately and felt a breath of relief upon her. She didn't wait for him and just walked towards their classroom. Lisa opened the door and found her classmates packing up some last minute goods for the orphanage. Sehun followed behind her and she exchanged greetings with her classmates and immediately went to where her friend Chaeyoung was sitting at.

Chaeyoung wiggled her eyes at Lisa as she saw her approaching which earned Chaeyoung a light slap on the shoulder from Lisa. Lisa sighed heavily and sat on the chair next to Chaeyoung.

"You know, for a girl who just spent alone time with her crush, you seem distressed." Chaeyoung pointed out and looked at a stressed-looking Lisa.

"I hated every second of it Chae, you know I've been trying hard to stay out of his radar for the longest time. I don't want him to know about my existence, let alone spend alone time with him." Lisa sighed in frustration and buried her face in her hands.

Chaeyoung just smiled at Lisa and rubbed her shoulders for comfort. "I don't get why you don't want him to know about you. Heck, he's lucky that a girl like you even likes him. You don't give yourself enough credit."

Lisa removed her face from her hands and proceeded to look at Sehun who was across the room doing some packing too. "He's way out of my league Chae, I'm not even worth a second look. He didn't even look at me awhile ago." Lisa smiled sadly.

Chaeyoung smiled softly at Lisa and pulled her into a side hug. "Well he's an idiot for not even looking at you awhile ago. And besides, it's not him who's way out of your league; it's you who's way out of his."

Lisa smiled hearing Chaeyoung's words and muttered a small thank you. Lisa stood up and started to write thank you notes for the children that will go in each pack of goods to be given to them.

Ten, a classmate of Lisa's walked up to Lisa as she was packing. "Hey Lisa." Ten greeted.

"Oh hey Ten, what's up? Are the things all ready?" Lisa asked. Ten gave an expression that said that everything wasn't. "Well, the toiletries were short as well as the milk." Lisa sighed, "Okay give me a list and I'll run to the store to buy it." Ten smiled and hugged Lisa. "Thanks Lisa." She laughed, "It's no biggie, just hurry up we need to leave in a few hours." Ten nodded and proceeded to make a list.

Chaeyoung nudged Lisa suddenly which surprised Lisa. "Chae can you please stop doing that, you know I get startled easily." Chaeyoung just gave a cheeky expression and said "Do you need help? I overheard your conversation with Ten." Lisa just shook her head, "It's fine, I can manage. Plus you need to be here in case Ms. Kim will check up on us later."

Chaeyoung nodded in understanding. "You should still have someone go with you. Preferably someone who has a car because it will be hard for you to commute if you have a lot of things with you."

Lisa laughed softly at her friend, "It's fine really, I can manage. Plus the store's no too far from here, I'll be fine. Thanks for the concern though."

Chaeyoung was not having it. Lisa always was an independent girl, saying that she can always handle it, and she can of course. But sometimes Chaeyoung just wishes that her friend would learn how to ask for help and accept help when offered.

Chaeyoung went up to the platform and clapped her hands to get everyone's attention. All the chatter stopped and all eyes were on her. Lisa already had a feeling on what Chaeyoung was attempting to do and tried to pull Chaeyoung off the platform but Chaeyoung wouldn't budge.

"I would just like to ask who has a car?" Chaeyoung asked and saw a few hands were raised up. "Who brought their car to school today?" Same hands were still up. "Okay good, now who will be willing to drive my friend Lisa to the store nearby to buy more supplies?"

Lisa was already cursing Chaeyoung inside her head. She just closed her eyes and hoped for the best.

"I'll drive her." Lisa's eyes suddenly shot wide open and felt her breathing stop as she heard the voice.

Chaeyoung internally squealed in delight and smiled. "Thanks Sehun." Everyone immediately went back to what they were doing awhile ago. She stepped down from the platform and turned to her friend who was staring at the wall blankly with her face looking like her mind was out of it. Chaeyoung snapped her fingers in front of Lisa's face which made Lisa come back to her senses.

"What just happened?" Lisa asked softly with an genuinely confused expression. Chaeyoung laughed, "Sweetie what happened was your crush just volunteered to drive you to the store. Now, get the list from Ten and go." She pushed Lisa towards Ten who was writing the list.

Lisa just let herself be pushed because she was still in utter shock and confusion as to what's happening. Ten handed her the list, leaned towards her and whispered, "Have fun." Lisa looked at Ten in utter horror and Ten just laughed at her and ruffled her hair. He winked and turned around to go do his work. Lisa just shook her head in disbelief, 'Am I that obvious?' .

Lisa slowly walked towards Sehun who was busy packing up stuff in bags. She cleared when she was already a bit close which made Sehun look at her. He stood up once he saw her and asked, "Do you have the list?" Lisa could only nod in reply.

"Okay, let's go." Sehun grabbed his jacket and went out the door. Lisa followed him and walked behind him with caution. She put her hands inside her hoodie's pockets to keep them from shaking. She didn't know why she felt so nervous, he's just a crush. Well, her crush since high school.

They've been schoolmates since high school but they never became classmates nor do they run in the same social circle. Sehun has always been higher up the social ladder while Lisa was just in the middle. Sehun became her crush when she first noticed him in the tree by the courtyard of the school. He had his earphones in and was reading a book. She's always known him as Sehun the athlete but never as Sehun the one who liked reading under the tree. From then on, she was always paying attention to him whenever he's around, taking glances at him at whatever chance she got. And it's been like that for her high school years. But she would always leave random notes of encouragement in his locker every week, and that's the closest she's ever come to having an actual interaction with him during high school.

College came and Lisa was already deadset on what major she'll be taking and it what school. She thought that she would never see Sehun again after graduation but the world really does have mysterious ways. Up until college they were schoolmates, and not just schoolmates but they were in the same college, just different departments. And just like in high school, she would always look for him and glance at him at whatever chance.

The elevator door opened and they walked towards the parking lot. Lisa didn't dare say another word since their other conversation in the elevator awhile ago was still replaying in Lisa's head. She just followed Sehun until they reached a black car. Sehun went in the car and Lisa took a deep breath before opening the passenger's side door and going in.

Sehun started the engine and started driving. Harry Styles' Falling was blasting on the radio. Lisa started humming to the song unconsciously as it was one of her favorite songs.

What am I now?
What am I now?
What if I'm someone I don't want around?
I'm fallin' again
I'm fallin' again

Sehun heard Lisa's faint humming and decided to break the silence. "What song is this?" Lisa, who was staring out the window was broken out of her reverie. "Oh sorry, what did you ask?"

"What song is this?" Sehun asked once again.

"Oh, it's Falling by Harry Styles. It's one of my favorite songs from his latest album." Lisa answered with a soft smile. "What about you? Do you listen to Harry Styles?" Lisa asked absent-mindedly.

What if I'm down?
What if I'm out?
What if I'm someone you won't talk about?
I'm fallin' again
I'm fallin' again
I'm fallin'

Sehun was a bit surprised when Lisa asked him. "Oh, I don't really but I guess I'll give him a listen. This song is quite good."

Lisa just hummed in response. It was silent until the song was over and another song started playing. They reached the store in less than five minutes after. Lisa took off her seatbelt once the car was parked, she looked over to Sehun to ask if he would come to which he said yes.

Lisa was busy getting supplies while Sehun was looking for some snacks that he can bring for the road later. They didn't talk much when they were in the store much to Lisa's relief and all that's left is to pay. As they were in the line for the cashier, a schoolmate of theirs from high school suddenly approached them.

"Hey Sehun what's up?" Sehun and the guy did a handshake. The guy peeked over Sehun to see Lisa. The guy squinted his eyes and immediately recognized Lisa. "Oh hey Lisa! Long time no see!" Lisa looked up to see Chanyeol, Chaeyoung's cousin who was also friends with Sehun. Lisa gave him a smile, "Long time no see Chanyeol. How are you?" Chanyeol chuckled, "Everything's good. I see that you've become friends with Sehun."

Lisa shook her head "He's just helping me out with an outreach program." Chanyeol formed an "o" with his mouth and just nodded. He turned back to Sehun who was looking at them this whole time which made Lisa just want to be swallowed whole by the Earth. In panic, Lisa hurriedly said to Sehun "You guys can talk, I'll just pay for the groceries and we can meet up in the parking lot."

Sehun just nodded and then they both walked away with Chanyeol giving a small wave to Lisa to which Lisa replied to with a smile. Once they were out of sight, Lisa just sighed deeply. 'I bet Sehun didn't even know we went to the same high school'  She proceeded to pay for the groceries and went to the parking lot.

Sehun was already waiting for her by his car and once he saw Lisa he immediately went to her to push the cart. Lisa just moved and let him push the cart, not wanting to start a conversation with him. 'Chaeyoung's right, for a girl who's spending alone time with her crush, I don't seem excited.'

Sehun and Lisa loaded the stuff into the trunk quietly. Once they were finished, Sehun parked the cart and Lisa closed the trunk and went to the passenger's seat. After a minute, Sehun went in the car and immediately started the engine.

The silence was deafening. The radio was off and when Lisa reached out her hand to turn it on, Sehun's voice stopped her. "I didn't know we went to the same high school."

Lisa glanced at Sehun to see him still staring at the road. Lisa counted to three to calm herself down before answering, "Oh yeah, did Chanyeol mention it?"

"He did. So did you know me since high school?" Sehun's tone changed up a bit, with a flick of curiosity in his voice.

"Of course I did, you were a really popular athlete so everyone knows you." Lisa answered a bit more relaxed now, finally coming to her senses that she needs to act normal and not be too obvious that she's affected by his mere presence.

"How come I never saw you? Since you knew Chanyeol, I never saw you talking to him at school, so how come?" Sehun's curiosity increased, genuinely surprised that Lisa managed to stay under his radar the whole time during high school.

"Oh, I didn't really participate much in school activities and I didn't want to talk to Chanyeol in school since he's also popular like you. He knew I was really shy and didn't want any attention on me, that's why we never talked at school." Lisa gave an awkward laugh and was feeling shy already, more of embarrassed actually. She wanted to bury her face in her hands, sigh loudly, and be swallowed whole by the ground. Unfortunately, she needed to keep a straight face and keep all of her feelings in.

"Oh so that's why." Sehun had no words left to say. He was feeling a bit guilty since they were batchmates since high school and he didn't even know.

The school came into view and Lisa sighed internally, not wanting to be in the car any longer. She knew that Sehun didn't know her but when he actually confirmed that he didn't know it made Lisa felt sad. Lisa knows that she had no right to be sad but it was an actual confirmation of how far she actually is from him. She will never have a chance and that's a reality she already knew but now it's actually rubbed on her face. But how would she have a chance if she never really took a chance anyway?

Sehun parked the car and Lisa immediately got out and went to the trunk. Sehun followed her and they went to the building. They didn't say a word to each other until they reached the classroom. It was not awkward silence, it was more of we don't have anything to say to each other so let's just keep quiet and not make it awkward  silence.

When they arrived, their classmates immediately started packing again. Lisa immediately looked around for Chaeyoung but she wasn't in the room. Sighing, Lisa sat down by the desk to write thank you notes again, she still had 20 to write. Sehun went to Lisa to get the receipt from her since Ten was asking for it.

Lisa was in deep concentration and didn't notice that Sehun was already behind her. Sehun noticed what Lisa was writing and she was writing thank you notes. Sehun found her handwriting familiar and he immediately thought of the notes he found in his locker every week during high school. He grabbed his wallet from his pocket and pulled out a purple-colored piece of paper which wrote:

Hello.  I noticed you've been feeling a bit down lately so I sent this note earlier than usual along with a bottle of chocolate milk. I found that chocolate milk always helps me calm down and it became a comfort drink for me. I hope it brings you comfort too. Things will get better soon, it's just a rough patch that we need to encounter in order for us to arrive at smoother roads. I hope you feel better soon.

Sehun compared the handwriting from the note to Lisa's handwriting and it was exactly the same. Sehun was about to say something to Lisa when Chaeyoung nudged him at his side to his surprise. "What are you doing?" Chaeyoung asked curiously. She has been watching Sehun for a few minutes now and she couldn't help but ask.

"I was just about to ask Lisa for the receipt from the grocery awhile ago." Sehun answered, hoping that his voice was still in his normal tone because with the things he just found out, he couldn't exactly find out a way on how to comprehend it.

"Oh, okay." Chaeyoung then proceeded to tap Lisa on the shoulder which surprised her. "Chae, can you please just call out my name like a normal person would?" Chaeyoung just laughed and placed a bottle of chocolate milk on Lisa's table. Lisa smiled seeing the bottle and Chaeyoung just gave her a cheeky smile. Chaeyoung then walked away and left Lisa smiling at her friend's thoughtfulness.

Lisa then noticed that Sehun was awkwardly standing a few feet away from her. She turned around to see Sehun staring at the chocolate milk weirdly. "Sehun." Lisa called out, and Sehun's eyes immediately found hers.

"Do you need anything? Or do you want the chocolate milk?" Lisa asked jokingly. But Sehun was just staring at her intensely, which made Lisa bite her lip since she was feeling a bit nervous. 'Why is he staring at me as if he's looking into my soul? Do I have something on my face?'  She tried to look away but whenever she's going to look back, Sehun was still looking at her.

Sehun stepped closer to Lisa and said without his eyes leaving hers, "So you're the girl."

"What girl?" Lisa frowned slightly at his words, not knowing what he was talking about.

"You're the one who's been leaving me notes at my locker every week since second year high school." Sehun watched as Lisa's face turned from confusion to shock.

Lisa didn't say a word. She was just genuinely shocked. 'How did he find out? I didn't even tell anyone that I was leaving notes on his locker. '  Lisa's brain was scrambling for answers, she didn't want to lie but she didn't want to expose herself either.

Sehun was patienly waiting for Lisa's answer, and sat down on the chair next to her. After a few minutes, Lisa sighed and said "What if it's me? So what? That was already a long time ago." Lisa tried hard to keep her voice from shaking.

Sehun couldn't help but smile, she didn't know that her notes saved him from one of the darkest moments of his life. Her simple words of encouragement were enough for him to make him look forward to the end of the week. The notes always came at a Friday, and why he had one in his wallet was the first and only time the note didn't come on a Friday. And that note was one of the very first ones that saved him.

Sehun grabbed Lisa's hand which surprised Lisa but she didn't resist and Sehun lead her outside to the hallway. Sehun didn't let go of Lisa's hand and started speaking, "You saved me. Your notes saved me countless of times."

Lisa's heart started thumping out of her chest, and she felt tears welling up her eyes. Sehun continued to speak. "The day you gave me chocolate milk was the day after I found out that my Mom died. She was working overseas that time and was hit by a car. I felt so lost that time and hurt but your note helped me cope."

Lisa looked up to Sehun to see him looking at her with such bright eyes. Lisa looked down to keep herself from crying. She was feeling a bit overwhelmed, knowing that her words saved someone.

"Ever since, I was looking forward to Fridays for your notes. Actually I tried to find out who was putting the notes but I never succeeded. I don't know how you did it." Sehun chuckled.

Lisa smiled at Sehun, "I asked the janitor to put the notes actually. He was always willing to help me in exchange for me tutoring one of his daughters during the weekend." Lisa laughed at the memory.

Sehun laughed at this, "Now that I have the chance, I want to say thank you for saving me. Your words helped me get through a lot of tough things during high school."

Lisa smiled, "You're welcome, I actually had a big crush on you during high school, until now actually" Lisa's voiced trailed off at the end. Lisa immediately blushed when she realized what she said.

Sehun laughed seeing Lisa's embarrassed state, "Well I had a crush on the person sending me the notes all throughout high school. I guess I can now say that it's you I had a crush on this whole time."

Lisa smiled. "Well I guess it's time for me to formally introduce myself now. Hi I'm Lalisa Manoban but you can call me Lisa." Lisa reached out her hands to Sehun.

Sehun took it and said "I'm Oh Sehun, and maybe this is the start of something new."
