Taeyeon was awakened by the shimmering light that expanded in the room, feeling warmth all around her body, she opened her eyes slowly only to shut it back immediately as the brightness of the sun threatened to blinden her. She couldn't remember the last time she was awaken by sunlight, quickly she got up and was shocked to realize that she'd actually over slept, never before had she allowed herself this kind of luxury, she was always up at dawn for her usual training but today was different, because last night she had found peace and her sleeping in is an obvious indication that she is finally at peace and with her wife, even though not on the same bed, but still breathing the same air with her counts, right? Taeyeon rubbed the left over sleep out of her eyes, and stood slowly, she looked around the room, expecting to see her wife still in bed, but the princess was no where to be seen. Thankfully, that godforsaken curtain was rolled up and she noticed that Sooyeon's bed was already neatly made. Stretching, she yawned a bit, before walking outside onto the veranda. The pigeons that the princess loved to feed dispersed as soon as she walked past them. There was no one in sight around the chambers but she could hear a metallic clang coming from somewhere. Following the sound, Taeyeon found two figures clothed in white training attires, engaged in a sword spar, she couldn't make out their faces because she was still a little far from them and they were wearing face masks, but she could see from their figures that they were both women. The general folded her arms around her chest in awe and leaned on a pillar to watch them. She was surprised because the last time she was in the palace, she happened to be the only one who usually practice, and that too alone. She continued to watch them dance around each other and soon found out that obviously, the taller among the two was more experienced than the shorter woman. She was about to turn around and go search for her wife elsewhere when the shorter woman suddenly twirled around and their eyes met, Taeyeon blinked her eyes twice, not believing who's eyes she's seeing. Wow, talk about surprise. But even with the woman's mask on, the general knew she was her wife, those striking honey eyes said it all. went slightly ajar at the sight of the princess sweating and breathing heavily. Absent-mindedly, the general wished so dearly that she was the reason Sooyeon was sweating and breathless, though not exactly in sword practice but in some other way that is entirely inappropriate. She broke into a warm smile as she walked up to them, not once did her eyes left the princess's until she was in front of them. "I didn't know you liked to spar." She said in amusement, her smile widening at the blushing face of her wife. "I do actually." Sooyeon said and turned around, ing her sword forward toward her sparring partner, the other lady who was actually the princess's aunt, removed her mask and smirked at her niece. Taeyeon couldn't recognize her at first because she was also wearing the piece of white cloth identical to the one Sooyeon was wearing around and nose, to keep the dust from flying into them. "Have you not learn your lesson yet?" Soojung asked her niece. "Hi shorty, did you sleep well?" She directed her second question at her niece in-law. 'What? Shorty?' Taeyeon frowned and then smirked briefly as the thought of a brilliant come back. "Actually I did, I did because finally I was able to breathe the same air as my wife and be under the same roof, even though someone thought it was a great idea to separate me from her." Taeyeon kinda glared at her monster aunt in-law. "Oh, do you see their fault? They are probably worried you may take advantage of her while she sleeps, don't you think?" Taeyeon scoffed. "Separate beds won't stop me from doing that if that's what I wanted. Besides, that would be called, 'fulfilling my duty as a wife' not taking advantage of her." "I think your wife haven't learnt her lessons yet, right Sooyeon?" Aunt Soojung smiled sweetly at the general as she said that. "Okay, that's enough, Taeyeon, you can get back inside and let us practice in peace or you can stay and watch but keep your mouth shut." The princess warned and ce again, ready for another round, but her aunt smiled mischievously at her. "Oh sweety, I'm really tired now, maybe you could continue with your wife?" Aunt Soojung winked at her and leaned in to whisper into her ear. "Teach her a lesson she'll never forget." Sooyeon blinked. "But she's good with sword, she's a general for heaven's sake." Sooyeon whispered back. "Yes, but she'll go easy on you, use the chance wisely." Her aunt patted her shoulder encouragingly before moving away from them. "So you want to know how good I've become with sword?" Sooyeon asked her wife, the idea of getting back at Taeyeon exciting her. "Of course, I would love to spar with you." Taeyeon grinned, another inappropriate idea crossing her mind, but she shook the thought away as quickly as it came. "Actually, I have a proposal." She adds. "And what would that be?" Sooyeon glared coldly at her. "If you defeat me, I will not bother you for forgiveness again until you are ready to forgive me." Taeyeon proposed already fastening her po's belt around her waist. "Okay, and if you win?" "You will have them take that extra bed out of our room and we will sleep on the same bed, every night." Sooyeon raised her flawless eyebrow and the general swore that the action alone could very well end her life, had she been a weak heart. The general walked and claimed Aunt Soojung's sword, she raised it and stood ready but the princess was not moving a muscle. “Raise your sword, princess.” The general commanded trying to prod her wife into the mood by swinging her sword dangerously in front of her. It sang through the air as it moved at high speed, but Sooyeon didn't even flinch. "Raise it, don't tell me you are afraid to spar with me, or are you?" Taeyeon gave another swing, this time raising the sword over her wife's head, the sword sliced down beside her. And this time the princess raised her own sword to deflect the general's attack. The gesture made the general to smile giddily and her smile widened at the anticipation of finally getting to spar with her wife. "Now, that's more like it." Taeyeon smirked smugly, feeling completely confident that she’s going to win this. She had been a master in sword fight ever since she was a child and of course she has learned from a very good teacher. The general swung her sword around in the air as if to test it's sharpness and speed, then brought it back. Readying herself, she stabbed forward towards Sooyeon but the princess deflated her attack masterfully and took a swing back at her. Taeyeon grinned goofily, "Nice move you got." She started to say but the princess cuts her off by attacking her furiously this time, she was caught off guard, and she quickly jumped away and got ready to keep up with her wife's speed. With one courageous swing from the princess, Taeyeon ducked her head and ran past Sooyeon, but the princess is quick to turn around as well. The amount of rage that rised from within her gave her the adrenaline boost she needed to put more power into her swings. Each powerful lightning quick strike is met with an equally strong defense by the general, soon the force from Sooyeon's new strike had Taeyeon walking backwards, and the general felt her back hitting a pillar. Taeyeon was in awe at her wife's skill, and with that momentary distraction, Sooyeon wasted no time in aiming for her wife's head and having the general narrowly dodging her attack angered her even further. Sooyeon pushed and pushed, throwing attacks everywhere, without giving Taeyeon a chance to get her control back. Soon they find themselves under the roof of a little resting place in the middle of the inner courtyard. Taeyeon would have loved to enjoy the soft cushions and mattresses lined along the floor looking so comfortable, but currently she’s trying to fight for her life and the many pil

Chapter 1: eoooo interesting. At least the story won't be conflicted by taeyeon's identity because she already confessed to the queen from the start.
