Silver River

This is perfect for those who enjoy slow but painful angst. This would always be one of my favourites.

Pros:

• Like any other of my recommendations, this story is well-written. But this is exceptionally beautiful in a whole nother level. The author wrote it with enough details, not too few, but not too much either to make you bored.
• The relationship progress between Chen and main female character is slow but realistic. I mean, it takes time to fall in love. It doesn't escalate too quickly like most fics. And it's not just a story where two people fall in love, but also how they deal with their own problems.
• I like the main character. She's brave but has her own downfall. No one's perfect though.
• Luhan character is so complicated, like he's not nice but I cannot hate him either. Afterall there's no such fully-good people and fully-bad people.
• Every EXO members have their own parts in the story. And even their little interactions with the main character makes me want to turn a somersault.
• It's completed, so you don't have to worry about hanging ending.

Cons:

• At first you might think "oh this won't take a while" (it's only five chapters), but turns out every chapters are way too long. It's just not comfortable for me who read little by little between work hours when my boss isn't around. Of course AFF has bookmarks feature, but it couldn't track where exactly you stop reading at a particular chapter. I had to scroll all the way to find where I last read it.
• The title is not using correct capitalization LOL. I know this isn't important but somehow it irks me.
