"You know what? F, Forget it.." Momo said in shaking voice.

Sana felt her heart drop, "Wa-wait.."

Time slows down, as Sana's hand had no strength to grip Momo to stay.

With each passing moment, there was less and less contact with her.

She was getting farther and farther away.

Until-

The link broke.

And Momo walked offstage.

That very moment broke both of their hearts.

For similar reasons.

'Why didn't you hold me?'
'Why aren't you stopping?'

There comes a point where, it becomes hard to turn back. It becomes irreversible to revert your decisions. Although the action is simple, few change while many walk on. The law of inertia. What is in motion, tends to stay in motion. Just like their inevitable breakup. There was just too many things that lead up to this point. 

Momo dragged her lead-filled legs and emotionally heavy body until she couldn't handle it anymore and stuttered against the wall of the hallway squatting down to the floor.

This feels better...

Momo crouched lower and lower to make her feel smaller and smaller to squeeze out the pain dwelling inside her.
