*1 Incoming Text Message* 

 

T- “Sooyeon... Please don't be mad..." 

 

J- “What did you do?" 

 

T- ”So... You know how I was supposed to take Taehoon and Soojun go get a pet fish"

                          

J- ”Yes..."

J- “I swear Kim Taeyeon if you bring home anything other than an aquatic animal, I'm going to kill you"

 

T”-But... We named him fish?" 

 

T-Plus, he's SOOO fluffy and cute"

 

T- ”The kids asked, and you know how I have a hard time rejecting them, they asked and eventually I gave in" 

 

T”- I know you won't kill me, love you"

 

J- ”I can't believe you let our children name their first dog Fish." 

 

T”- Well, I think it's a fantastic name" 

 

J- ”I also can't believe you brought our children a dog after going to the store with the intent of buying one freakin goldfish"

                                                    

J- “Kim Taeyeon!”

                                                     

J- “Now you stop replying?!”

 

T- “Please don't be mad, can we please keep him?!" 

 

J- “…” 

J- “Fine.” 

 

T- “Yay, love you, muah!" 

 

J- “Hm, whatever, love you too"

   "Hurry home then"

 

T- “Uh-huh, be back in five ;)” 

 

Jessica sighed, why did she even bother asking Taeyeon to go when she clearly knew Taeyeon would pull tricks like this. Taeyeon has been bugging Jessica for years in the hopes of being able to raise a dog in the family, but Jessica has rejected her every single time. But now, Taeyeon took advantage of the situation and finally got what she wanted. Jessica can only sigh. 

 

Hearing loud excited voices outside mixed with little barks Jessica knew Taeyeon and the kids along with Fish the newly added family member are home. Fish was being held in Taeyeon's arms while her hands were filled with plastic bags containing dog accessories, while their children had huge grins plastered on their faces, looking exactly like Taeyeon's. 

"Mommy!" The two kids shouted in unison and quickly burrowed into Jessica's arms. 

"Hey babies, did you have a good time?" Jessica asked while planting soft kisses on both their smooth chubby cheeks

"Yes Mommy, we bwought a doggie, see!" Soojun answered while pointing towards Fish.

"Yes honey Mommy knows, but Mommy not very happy" 

"Why Mommy?" Taehoon asked 

"Because your Omma made mommy mad" Jessica said in a sad voice 

"Don't be sad Mommy, Omma huwy and say sowy" Taehoon dragged Taeyeon towards Jessica, while Soojun tried to comfort Jessica with her lovely kisses. 

"Sooyeon ah, I'm sowy, but you said you won't be mad" Taeyeon said with a hint of ageyo.

"Hmm, I'm just kidding, let's go in then" Jessica said while making her way towards the couch, while the kids, Taeyeon and Fish trailed behind her.

 

Jessica picked up Fish and sat him on her lap, while the twins occupied the seats next to Jessica leaving Taeyeon to sit in the far corner. 

Taeyeon smiled seeing Jessica interacting well with Fish as she patted him and gave him light kisses.

 

After a short break, Jessica stood up to go prepare lunch for the family, she gave both the twins and Fish a smooch before leaving off for the kitchen.

Taeyeon stood up pouting, 

"Sooyeon~ where's my Bobo? You forgot me, how can you forget me and not Fish?" Taeyeon sulked

"Aigoo, is my big baby jealous?" Jessica cooed 

Taeyeon nodded her head

"Come here then big baby" Jessica wiggled her finger at Taeyeon 

Without missing a beat, Taeyeon immediately ran to Jessica. Jessica planted a soft kiss on Taeyeon's cheeks before leaving for the kitchen. Just as Jessica set foot into the kitchen she felt someone spin her around.

"Yah, Kim Taey-" Jessica didn't get to finish her sentence as two lips collided together in passion. 

"That kiss was not enough to satisfy me, but now I am satisfied" Taeyeon said with a grin

“You cheesy” Jessica said shyly as her face went rosy 

Taeyeon gave a huge grin before skipping back to the living room to hang out with the kids and Fish.

“Heyyy, no fair” Taeyeon whined 

“What’s wrong now darling?” 

“Why is Fish so attached to you not me” Taeyeon whined seeing Fish jump onto Jessica’s lap

“I don’t know darling, why don’t you ask Fish?’ Jessica said whilst ruffling Fish

“Fish, I was the one who brought you home, why do you only like your mommy Jessica” Taeyeon asked while she moved Fish onto her lap

Fish only barked back in annoyance having left Jessica’s comfortable lap

Taeyeon felt dejected and decided to snuggle closer to Jessica hoping for some comfort.

Fish barked again

“Ahhh, what now Fish?” Taeyeon looked up

Fish kept barking and only stopped as soon as Taeyeon stopped snuggling with Jessica

“Are you jealous right now?”

Fish barked again

“Waaahhhh, you won’t play with me and now you are taking my honey too? That’s it, I’m taking you back to the pet shop” Taeyeon threatened 

Jessica giggled watching the two bicker

Fish started to whimper as he jumped off from Taeyeon and clung onto Jessica

“Hey stop threatening Fish, I think he’s lovely, don’t you dare take him back” 

“Yah, why are you standing on his side? Are my wife or his wife? Weren’t you the one against us having a dog in the first place?” 

“Well, I’m attached to FIsh now, plus Taehoon and Soojun will be sad too” 

“Hmph, I’m going to go play with Taehoon and Soojun then” Taeyeon stormed out leaving Jessica and Fish who were too busy playing together to notice Taeyeon leaving

“Taehoonie, Soojunnie. what are you guys doing?” Taeyeon asked as she peeped into the room 

“Omma! Soojunnie and I are drawing” Taehoon answered 

“What are you two drawing?” 

“I’m drawing our famwee Omma” said Soojun

“What about you Taehoonie?”

“I’m drawing our famwee too Omma, it’s us outswide on our porch” Taehoon said excitedly 

“That looks great honey, who’s who?” 

Taeyeon observed the piece of paper covered in coloured crayon. There was a house drawn on the left side of the paper, and the four of them plus Fish squeezed on the other side. The bottom was filled with green scribbles (assumed to be grass) and the top was scribbled with blue. 

“That’s Mommy and she’s holding mine and Soojunnie’s hand, and Fish is standing next to me” Taehoon slowly explained 

“What about Omma?” 

“Omma is here” Taehoon said as he pointed to the edge of the paper

“Sorry Omma, I ran out of space so you are a bit squashed” Taehoon  said embarrassedly

Taeyeon was speechless. Everyone seemed to be against her today, first Fish, then Jessica her wife, and now her own son? 

“Tell me about your drawing Soojunnie” Taeyeon turned her attention to her daughter, I still have my daughter at least Taeyeon thought to herself 

“That’s our house and some yellow flowers surrounding us. That’s Fish, Oppa, me, Mommy and you Omma!” 

“Why does Omma look like a monster here”

“Soojunnie draw you likes the monsters mask you wore yesteday when we pwayed that game Omma” 

“But Omma doesn’t look like a monster, Omma is a pretty women” Taeyeon protested 

“But I like Omma with that monster mask” 

Taeyeon looked at her daughter who smiled back innocently

“Okay honey, if you like it Omma will wear it just for you okay?”

“Yayyyyyy” Soojun squealed 

(such an idiot for her daughter 😂)

 Taeyeon walked out of their playroom feeling more speechless.

“How are the kids babe?” Jessica yelled from downstairs 

“They’re fine honey, they are just drawing”

"What are they drawing?"

"Go and look for yourself" Taeyeon huffed 

Jessica got curious and started to make her way to the playroom with Fish trailing behind her.

“Why are you sulking babe” Jessica went to comfort Taeyeon after visiting the kids

“No one loves meeeee” Taeyeon started to whine 

“We all love you babe, what do you mean” Jessica wanted to laugh 

“You and Fish are just ignoring me, and the kids’ drawings either make me look like a monster or seems to look like I’m pretty much non-existent at all” Taeyeon complained to her wife

“They are just kids honey of course they are not gonna have a great sense of spacial placement or great drawing skills in that case”

“I know, but what about you? Why is all your attention on Fish, where’s my attention?” 

“Awwww, you’re so jealous babe, you are such a baby”

“Hmph”

“There, there, since the kids and Fish are playing together right now, you have all my attention” Jessica cooed 

Hearing that Taeyeon immediately pulled Jessica into a hug

“I miss you (your attention)” Taeyeon sighed as she deeply inhaled Jessica’s scent and kissed Jessica all over her face

Jessica just smiled, appreciating the time with Taeyeon right now

“I love you Jessica” 

“I love you too, Taeyeon”

“Really” Taeyeon poked at Jessica

“Yes really” Jessica giggled

“More than Fish?”

Jessica stifled a laugh

“Definitely more than Fish my baby” 

And both smiled in content.

Hey Readers, it has been a while :) 

This chapter was from a while ago, inspiried by an old Facebook meme. Poor Taeyeon, but of course, everyone loves her right? 

So this is pretty much going to be a oneshot collection now.

Just wanted to say that since the Coronavirus is going around, just remember to look after yourselves and please practice good hygiene! 

Also a huge congrats to Taeyeon for her Daesang, I mean, just wow, such a huge achievement! We stan a vocal queen hahaha.
