Kang Seulgi always felt so alone.

She had a loving boyfriend Min Yoongin (or as she liked to call him Suga) but in all reality was that she didn't love him as much as he clearly loved her. 

She was in love with her best friend Park Jimin who didn’t feel the same way, so when he rejected her she found refuge in Yoon-gi but it wasn't fair to him and even when she knew this she still couldn't find it in her to break things off with him.

 

Seulgi was drinking her sorrows away, she had gotten into a huge argument with Suga about something so trivial she felt silly to even recall the subject but thankfully her friends Joy and Irene asked no questions about what happened and instead served her endless long island teas to help her ease up.

After her 5th tea, she knew she was in trouble as everything became a blur and her world went black.

 

She woke up and in a cold bed, she sat up holding her head feeling as if it would split in two at any moment.

She opened her eyes slowly and realized she wasn't home and the guilt and shame overpowered her headache.

She quickly peeked under the covers and it confirmed she was completely .

She could hear someone now in the shower and she scrambled out of the bed and looked for her clothes that were scattered all over the room.

She found her phone sitting on a coffee table and she quickly grabbed everything and put her clothes back on.

She had multiple missed calls from Suga and her friends, it was already 10 in the morning and she really didn't want to know who she had a one stand with.

Her shame was weighing heavily in her chest, but before she could make her escape someone emerged from the bathroom and she looked over at the towel-clad man and her eyes widened as her jaw dropped as she met eyes with none other than Jimin.

“Hi” he smiled at her as he towel-dried his hair 

“Did we- last night- Oh god” she stuttered and he stared back slightly confused it seemed

“Um it looks like it, I mean I have hickies and all” he chuckled and threw the towel on a vacant chair that was close by

Seulgi felt like she was going to throw up “I can't believe this” she breathed and felt an urge to cry 

“Tell me about it, I am not sure how I am going to tell my girlfriend” Jimin chimed and she looked at him narrowing her eyes “You have a girlfriend?” she asked through clenched teeth

When he rejected her he had told her that he wanted to focus on his studies and that having her around would be a distraction.

Now her heart hurts, not physically but metaphorically.

Her body ached, her head hurt and now her heart once again was shattered and by none other than the love of her life Jimin.

She was trash, especially when she had a good man in her life, Suga, who tried to show her every day how much he loved her. 

She held her head in her hand briefly but quickly tried to up her emotions and only dwell in her self loath and shame “Actually it doesn't matter, I need to go,” she said and all but ran out of the room, ignoring Jimin as he called out for her to stop.

She quickly left the hotel and called Irene ‘Oh my god! Hey! Where the are you!?’ Irene yelled at her 

“I don't know, can I use your account to get an uber?” she asked her head pounding again 

‘Yeah, Suga is like freaking out on us because we keep telling him you’re asleep and ’ Irene ranted annoyed 

“I’ll call him once I get there” she mumbled irritated 

She quickly hung up so she could order her ride.

Jimin all of a sudden emerged and she was horrified, she quickly ran away and tried to hide behind a pillar

Her driver got there and she ran to the car when Jimin spotted her but she had successfully gotten in the car and urged the driver to hurry and drive off.

Seulgi wanted to die, she got to Irene’s apartment and hated that her best friend Irene was berating her for leaving last night without telling her or Joy.

Thankfully Joy calmed mama bear Irene and told her to lay off Seulgi who was currently dehydrated and mortified still at what she had done last night.

“Anyways, who were you with last night?” Irene asked her as she handed her an ice-cold water bottle

“Jimin, I-I think we ed” she confessed and Joy and Irene gaped at her with mouths open 

“Are you serious?” Irene asked completely shocked 

“I guess, I am not sure. I mean my body feels like it’s been hit with a ton of bricks and I woke up and Jimin stepped out of the shower in the hotel-” “Unnie, I think Suga-oppa knows that you were with Jimin-oppa” Joy cut her off and Seulgi looked at her horrified

“What do you mean Joy?” all eyes were on her 

“I mean, I saw you with Jimin-oppa. I had called Suga-oppa to pick you up when I realized you were out but Jimin-oppa insisted he take you home. I was on the phone so I know he heard-” Seulgi put her hand up cutting the girl off 

“I mean even if he does know this, Suga knows that Jimin is my best friend,” Seulgi said out loud trying to calm herself

“Yeah but things change when you screw your best friend Seulgi” Irene added 

Seulgi shut her eyes at her best friend's words.

“I know that” she whispered and pulled out her phone, she stared at the screen before finally mustering the courage to call Suga and have him pick her up.

Suga picked up her call right away asking her if she was okay, telling her he had reached out to Jimin, confirming what Joy had just told her and making her feel sick.

“Um yeah I am okay, he took care of me since I was a little belligerent drunk last night” she lied

Seulgi could feel Irene’s glare and she refused to meet her eyes

‘Well that’s good, I will be over at Irene’s in about 15 minutes’ he told her 

“Mm, see you soon,” she said and hung up.

Her head pounding again just thinking about what she had done with Jimin.

“Are you okay?” Irene asked her and handed her 2 aspirins

“I guess so, Thank you unnie” she sighed and sat up so she could take the pills

Joy sat next to her and the TV in the living room “On a happier note, you drank very well last night!” the girl said in hopes to cheer up Seulgi

“Thanks” she rolled her eyes in response and waited for Suga who made it there right on time.

Seulgi hugged her best friends goodbye and went to meet Suga who was parked at the curb of the apartment building.

He smiled when he spotted her and she managed to give him a small smile 

She got in the car and he leaned in to give her a kiss, which she hesitated to reciprocate but nonetheless she did.

She knew that he saw her hesitation but he didn't say anything about it.

He started the car and began to drive to their apartment. 

“So how was your night?” he asked her trying to break the silence in the car

Seulgi had her head leaned against the cool window “It was wild as ever, Irene and Joy gave me endless long island teas” she said vaguely

“I see, and Jimin was there too?” Seulgi knew he wanted to know if she had gone out to see Jimin.

“I guess so, I don't remember when he showed I forgot to ask Joy” she didn't want to lie to him but she felt guilty just knowing she had ed her best friend and now she was in the car with her boyfriend that overall is the best person in her life.

She was a person because she was willing to lie so she wouldn't hurt him.

 

They got to the apartment and she quickly went to shower, she felt dirty.

She hoped that the shower would help her clear her mind and feel better about what she had done in some sort of way.

She stepped out and saw that Suga had ordered take-out for her, he acted as if everything was okay and she wasn't sure if that sat well with her because she felt like
