"tae..where do you want this?" jimin asked as he brought a box inside the apartment

"you can just leave it in my room chim" taehyung said as he puts down the other box he was holding

today was the day taehyung moved from New York to Seoul where he was to start the new chapter of his life...

away from the memories that left him in pieces...

"ahh finally we are done...i'm glad the boxes arrived quickly... thanks for holding them in your apartment till i got here chim" taehyung smiled at his bestfriend

the two sat on the floor on taehyung's new living room

"of course.. though i never thought you were  never gonna come back here in korea permanently..." jimin noticed taehyung's smile fade..."but i'm glad i will be able to see you and spend time with you more now... travelling was fine but not seeing you made me miss you so much...." 

taehyung got his smile back and hugged jimin

"me too...being alone there especially when it happened made me wish you were near me...i'm glad to be back home with you chim" he hugged his bestfriend

"how are you feeling now though tae?" jimin cautiously asked

"a little better... it still painful.. but it's getting better..." taehyung answered

Taehyung never thought he was really going to come back to Korea permanently..

he had his whole life in New York... He had a home.. a happy one.. because he was with the love of his life...

he thought it will last forever as they promised to never be apart and to love each other for eternity...

they were really happy...

until...

**flashback**

"mianhae taehyungie... but we cannot continue anymore..."

"goodbye"

Taehyung wiped the tear that unconsciously rolled down his cheeks...

jimin noticed as he was quick to hug his bestfriend... he remembered the day he got the phone call that prompted him to get on a plane the very next day...

he remembered how he found taehyung in his home ... he remembered how that bastard broke his bestfriend...

"i'm sorry chim..." tae tried to smile

"tae..don't apologize..it's ok to cry.. just let it all out .. that way you will feel much better after" jimin smiled

taehyung understood... he leaned his head on jimin's chest and cried...

often times they stayed like that.. taehyung letting his feelings out... and jimin just being there for him

he was grateful..

"congratulations you two!" Jin said as he gave his gift to taehyung and jimin

"thanks hyung.. our dream finally came true..and i am just happy my taetae is with me on this one" jimin smiled

if other people were listening they would think those two got married but in reality, jimin and taehyung just opened their new coffee/bubble tea shop which was one of their dreams since they were young... growing up they promised each other that they will be partners and will make it happen...

it almost didn't come true when taehyung decided to run away to America with his first and only love...

"oh my god.. this is so the best bubble tea ever!" Namjoon said right before he choked on a boba prompting jin to smack his boyfriend in the back

"joon-ah..how do you even ..." jin shook his head making taehyung and Jimin

"thank you for coming hyung... and for giving me another chance to be with you again.." taehyung said to jin

"well.. how can i not forgive my own brother even though he ran away from me to be with that ?" Jin smirked but then smiled softly" Tae, you are my only family.. of course i will always be here for you..waiting for you"

while the brothers were hugging namjoon managed to choke on another boba... this time jin smacked him so hard in the head the boba flew straight out making the other two laugh again

then the bell on the shop's door rang signaling a customer just came in...

jimin and taehyung quickly stood up from Jin's table and took their posts behind the counter.. 

while jimin was putting his apron on his waist taehyung was about to greet the customers but then he stopped...

"so this is the newly opened coffe/bubble tea shop i was telling you guys about...the products here are soooo yummy! and it's just across the street from the office!" one of the men said as he dragged his other two friends in

the other two guys casually walked in but one of them stopped on his tracks as he made eye contact with a very familiar figure

"welco..." jimin has finally looked up and was stopped mid greeting as he saw the same guy that made taehyung quiet.. he felt his blood boil..

at the table by the window Namjoon and Jin knew who the man was.. and was observing carefully but ready to intervene just incase...

"ah taehyungie.. jiminie! annyeong!" the chatty customer said... 

"h..hi hoseokie hyung..." taehyung collected himself as he greeted the familiar customer.. he quickly grabbed jimin's hand as he knew his bestfriend might zoom in on hoseok's friend and give him the beating he promised taehyung to do if they ever crossed paths

"oh these are my friends ... this is yoongi hyung" he pointed at a pale but handsome man who smiled and waved "and this one here is jungkook.. he just came home from New York.. actually he's been here for awhile now but i was not able to bring them here because little kookie was in the middle of taking over the company" hoseok innocently finished .. he didn't know the story as he just met jungkook a little while ago.. he never knew he was the runaway son of the old president...

jungkook stayed quiet as he stared at taehyung... 

"what can i get you hyung?" taehyung tried to play it cool as he squeezed jimin's hand who understood that they are still customers

"taro bubble tea for me please" hoseok said then gestured for the two to pick

"caramel macchiatto for me" yoongi said

"mango..." jungkook said with a little hesitation "bubble tea..."

as jimin was punching in the orders taehyung was getting the drinks ready.. when jimin was done he went to help taehyung

"here you go.. your taro bubble tea hyung..." he handed it to hoseok

"and your macchiatto yoongi hyung"  he smiled at yoongi

"here!" jimin said a little rough as he was about to hand jungkook his drink

taehyung quickly noticed though that jimin has used the regular milk.. 

"no!" taehyung loudly said as he took the drink from jimin 

jimin and everyone looked at taehyung as he quickly threw the drink away and quickly made a new one..

jungkook didn't miss that taehyung pulled out soy milk from the fridge and used it to make the drink instead...

"here" he handed the drink to jungkook...

"k..komawo...." jungkook said as he took it...

hoseok was a little oblivious so he didn't really make a big deal out of it as he just thought the drink was made wrong but yoongi who was just observing knew better...he knew who taehyung was.. because he was his cousin's one and only love after all..

"we have to go.. break time is almost over.. thank you tae and chim" hoseok hurried the other two out after paying...

as the group left taehyung finally let out a big sigh as he walked over to where his brother was followed by jimin...

Jin quickly enveloped his brother in a hug

"i see you still remember his little quirk..." jimin said earning a confused look from namjoon and jin "that bastard is lactose intolerant"

"and by any chance you made it with regular milk intentionally?" taehyung asked 

"maybe?" jimin smirked

"chim.. not nice" namjoon said

"well what's a whole day in the bathroom anyway compared to what he did to taehyung?" jimin chuckled

"i would honestly do the same" jin said agreeing with jimin

on the other hand as a certain trio was walking back to the company building

"i see he doesn't want you dead yet...or atleast stuck in the bathroom the whole day " yoongi said as he sipped on his macchiatto

"i know..." jungkook replied

"what do you guys mean?" hoseok curiously asked

"are you not curious about why taehyung remade kookie's drink?" yoongi asked 

"huh? i just thought maybe jimin made it wrong and tae was kind enough to remake it" hoseok answered "wrong flavor maybe?"

"oh you are correct... jimin did make it wrong.. but it was the right flavor.. only jimin used regular milk and kookie is lactose intolerant... so taehyung made it with soy milk..." yoongi replied

"and how would taehyung even know that?" hoseok asked again

yoongi smirked... he looked at jungkook who was in deep thought not even paying attention to the other two

"taehyung..is the boy of the story from New York Seokie" 

"you mean ..." hoseok's eyes widened... he learned of jungkook's story about how he had left the boy he loved back in new york because he was forced to come back home and take over the family business.. he didn't know the name nor the face of that boy that is why is so surprised at the moment

yoongi answered him with a nod

meanwhile jungkook was thinking about taehyung..

how he missed his smile although he noticed that it wasn't all real.. like it was mixed with sadness

he missed his eyes.. the eyes he would stare at when he woke up in the morning .. the same eyes that would lovingly look at him before he fell asleep at night.. the same eyes that shed tears when he said good bye....

how he missed his taehyungie... how he regreted his decision...

"now that my father is gone...i hope i'm not too late to get you back..."
