It's been awhile since the shop opened and somehow taehyung has never seen jungkook again..

usually hoseok comes and picks up orders though he knows one of them is jungkook's because of the milk substitute requests..

he didn't think much of it.. for him it was better this way as he didn't know how far he is when it came to moving on from jungkook..

"tae i'm so sorry i have to rush out.. and leave you to close the shop.. i just really have an urgent matter i have to deal with my family..." jimin said as he removed his apron and picked up his bagzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

"chim.. it's ok.. i'll be fine.. " taehyung smiled as he puts away the equipments they used all day

"are you sure? maybe we can call jin hyung to come here" jimin said.. he seriously didn't want to leave taehyung alone if only it wasn't for his mom

"nah.. i'm ok.. i just have to close the shop and then go home..i'll be ok.. now go" tae said 

"alright.. but call me when you leave and when you get to the apartment ok? love you boo" jimin hugged his bestfriend 

the two bid their final goodbye and jimin left...

taehyung looked around and started making sure everything is in place ready for tomorrow's business..

when he was done he removed his apron and picked up his bag and gave the place one last looked..

satisfied.. he turned the lights off and headed for the door...

when he finished locking the door he turned around and was shocked..

he never expected to see him again.. but he was there... staring straight at him...

he was about to ignore him and turned to walk away when he felt his arm being held back

"tae..." jungkook called his name

taehyung turned and looked at him "what do you want jungkook?" he asked with a cold tone

"can we talk? i want to explain..." jungkook said as he let taehyung's arm go

"what is there to explain? you left me... " taehyung said his voice shaky "you left me with no explanation before.. what makes you think i'd want to hear it now?"

"but tae..please..." jungkook began but taehyung cut him off

"don't... i can't... let's not see each other again jungkook... goodbye" and with that taehyung hurriedly walk away as he knew his eyes were about to betray him and cry

jungkook sighed..he watched taehyung walk away .. he felt pain... he wondered if this is how taehyung felt when he was the one who walked away from him...

taehyung walked and walked until he reached a door not that far from the shop...

he stood infront of it and took a deep breath and rang the door bell...

the door opened and the person saw taehyung's lost puppy face and quickly went for a hug..

"tae... what's wrong?" jin asked his brother who only hugged him tighter and started to cry... his muffled sobs broke jin's heart... and they stood there until taehyung was calm enough...

jin ushered his brother in and they sat on the couch.. namjoon saw them entering but decided to give the two some time alone when he saw taehyung's state...

jin prepared some hot chocolate for his brother... his go to drink when he is sad.. just like when they were children...

"can you tell me what happened?" jin asked his brother as he gave his the cup ..

"i was closing shop... and when i turned i saw jungkook there..he tried to talk to me.. he said he wanted to explain..." taehyung began

"and? did you talk to him?" jin said

"no.. i told him there is nothing to talk about.. he left me without an explanation before so what would be the difference if he explained now..." taehyung replied

"boo.. why won't you want to hear his explanation? don't you think it is what you need to fully have closure?" the older one asked again

"hyung.. i don't know if i can listen to it.. " tae began "i don't know if i want to know why he suddenly left me.. why he broke me...i don't know if i want to hear it..."

"tae... think about it.. if you don't atleast know why..you will be stuck with the feeling of sadness and hate.. and you won't be able to really move on and trully be happy..." jin adviced "doesn't have to be now.. maybe you can tell him that you will listen to it when you are ready..."

"i don't know hyung" tae leaned over his brother's chest and the older just started rubbing circles in his back...

"yes tae tae..definitely.." jin said

soon taehyung fell asleep and jin positioned him comfortable on the couch.. unfortunately his apartment had only one bed room.. thank god the couch is huge.. he placed a blanket over his brother and gave his a soft kiss on the forehead.. "goodnight tae tae.. i hope you will heal soon... i love you"

jin turned off the lights and left to his room...

taehyung opened his eyes and noticed the sunlight peaking through the curtains.. he noticed the decor and remembered he didn't go home to his apartment last night..he was sure he was at jin's because of the huge portrait of his brother and namjoon currently staring at him about the tv accross him...

"morning tae.." namjoon greeted the young one as he sat by the dining table taking a sip of his coffee

"morning hyung" tae smiled as he got up rubbing his eyes to see clearer.. he  noticed he did not removed his contacts so it stung a bit.. "i'm sorry for imposing last night..."

"it's ok tae.. you are welcome here anytime..i'm sorry we do not have a spare bedroom though so you could have been a bit more comfortable" namjoon replied

"your couch is comfy enough hyung..." tae smiled "can i use your bathroom? i want to remove my contacts"

"sure... you don't need to ask tae" namjoon gave him his signature dimpled smile

 walked to the bathroom with his bag.. thank heavens he always carries his eye glasses and a bag of toiletries just in case so he was also able to wash his face and brush his teeth

tae walked out and saw jin already in the kitchen cooking... he walked up to him and gave him a back hug...

"i'm so happy you are this close to me again hyung... " tae said as he leaned his head on his brother's wide back

"me too baby... me too" jin smiled as he continued to cook... he missed this.. taehyung was always this clingy to him growing up so when the younger left for america.. the emptiness was so huge jin cried for a long time...

"how are you feeling?" jin asked as taehyung removed himself from his brother's back and sat on one of the chairs at the dining table 

"i'm .i don't know hyung...i don't know if i should hear him out or not..." tae said

"take your time to decide.. think about it first... ok?" jin said 

after breakfast taehyung bid his hyungs good bye so he could go home and change before going to work.. he also called jimin to tell him he will be late and also to tell him what happened last night while making his way home..

jimin didn't sound happy at the events  last night and swore to speak his mind if jungkook dares to show himself again which was sooner than jimin expected

"what do you want?!" jimin asked as jungkook came in through the door of the shop

"jimin.. please i need to talk to tae..." jungkook said .. his voice pleading

"are you not done hurting him yet? why did you even come back to his life? when you disappeared you should have done it for good!" jimin spat his tone an angry one

"i had reasons..but i never forgot him.. i swore to myself once i solved my problem i was going to come find him again... thank god for hoseok hyung i found my taehyungie..." jungkook replied

"YOUR taehyungie?! you don't own him anymore jungkook..you lost your place in his life when you left him! reasons?! what could possibly be a valid reason for you to not tell him and choose to break him instead?! do you know the pain he went through?! do you know how he almost died because you left him?!" jimin was livid at this point "if i arrived in NY a day later jungkook taehyung ...." jimin's eyes started to tear up "taehyung could've died!"

"what are you talking about?!" jungkook asked with worry 

"chim!" taehyung's voice was heard at that moment as he rushed in seeing jimin and jungkook face to face has got him worried.. for jimin who was in tears and for jungkook who could be jimin's victim if the other decides to keep his promise of beating his ex boyfriend up when he sees him again

"what happened after i left tae? what is jimin talking about?!" jungkook asked frantic

"you don't need to know ... all that matters is that jimin saved me.. and i'm fine ... now please leave.." taehyung said in a calm voice

taehyungs turned to jimin and wiped his tears.. he helped him to a chair and that is when jungkook noticed a scar on both of taehyung's wrists...

jungkook made his way to taehyung and grabbed his wrist to clearly see "is this what he meant?"

taehyung pulled his hands away, pulling down his sleeves to hide the scars "again..you don't have to know.. it's none of your business anymore... whatever happened to me when you left you don't need to know!"

"please tae.. we need to talk.. i can explain everything now..." jungkook pleaded

"i..i'm not ready yet.. i don't even know if i want to hear it.. for now please go.." taehyung was pleading this time.. he just really can't right now

"i'll come find you again tae.. i want you to hear me out...please" jungkook began..." and i want us to fix everything..i need you..."

"didn't you hear him or did you just turn dumb?! leave!" jimin has now recovered and is now ready to pounce on jungkook

tae held on to jimin before something else goes wrong.. "please go... when i'm ready to hear it.. i'll let you know..."

jungkook sighed..and nodded his head...he gave taehyung one last look and then he left leaving the two best friends alone...

when his ex was gone.. it was taehyung's turn to cry, he held on as much as he could.. but seeing jungkook again broke his guards.. he knew he still loved him and he prayed so hard to never see him again .. but maybe the universe felt like playing a game on him...

jimin stood up and hugged his bestfriend...

"tae..." he called his name

"i..why... why does he still affect me this way chim?" taehyung said as he continued to cry
