I Once Called This Place Home
The FangirlThe wave of familiarity soon swept me off as soon as I walked out from the airport. I looked to the man beside me. He still chose to wear all black for his airport fashion, minus the mask and the hat. It just felt weird for me to see him being out in public freely like this. No cameras, no fans; just walking like a normal person.
Wow.
“How are you feeling?” Yunki asked me; caught me off guard. “Oh, I’m fine.” I answered with a smile. Yunki’s gaze lingered at me for a moment before he looked away. I chuckled lightly. He didn’t show it but I’m sure he was worried because I wasn’t really looking forward to coming back to Korea. Actually, why was I afraid of coming back here in the first place? I didn’t commit any crime here and so what if I met him again?
Yunki's soft hand wrapped against mine; brought me back to reality. I looked down at our intertwined hands. “Are you afraid that I might run away?” I asked him jokingly with a little chuckle. Yunki scratched the back of his head with his free hand. “I just don’t want you to get lost here.” He said. I snickered. “What a lame reason, oppa.”
He scowled. “It’s true. Now let’s get going. I asked my friend to lend me his car and put it in the airport.” He said as he pulled me to walk down to the airport parking lot. I could see his reddened ears and a smile crept into my lips. “So I finally get to see you drive after waiting for so many years.” I commented. “Huh? What do you mean?” he asked.
