001: you must subscribe! upvoting is optional but very much appreciated.
002: coven is a closed rp, interaction with outsiders is prohibited! follow all members of the roleplay and try your bes to interact with everyone.
003: stay in character at all times, use brackets to indicate ooc talk and try to limit it. retweets are prohibited as they tend to clog the timeline and ruin the athmosphere
004: plotting as well as character development is encouraged! a carrd/listography/etc, is appreciatedas it helps others understand your character better but it's not a must. don't stress!
005:lovewins! we welcome all ualities and relationships. dating ban is 5 days and both must have reached 200 tweets. we accept move-in couples, but please inform base or include that in your application! the password is your favorite song.
006: timeline is NC16 as we want everyone to feel welcome! keep rated stuff in the dms. if you roleplay topics that might be triggering (gore etc.) on the timeline, please note that with a trigger warning at the beginning of the plot. we do not accept roleplaying of suicide, self harm, abuse and . doing so will involve in an immediate kickout.

in wiccan beliefs, there are two gods: the horned god and the triple goddess. the god and goddess are regarded as equal and opposite divine cosmic forces. in some newer forms of wicca, such as feminist or dianic wicca, the goddess is given primacy or even exclusivity. in some forms of traditional witchcraft that share a similar duotheistic theology, the horned god is given precedence over the goddess.

backstory
cerastae, a coven that prioritizes the horned god was founded in 1972 and is one of the first wiccan covens. they tend to be more traditional, stick to their organized approach and use their witchcraft mainly for personal gain and power. they are ruled by the sun.
venustas is a newly founded coven focused on the nurturing aspects of the triple goddess, one that uses their witchcraft for the greater good, one that strives for peace and equality. they have a messier approach, stick to less traditions because they believe it's time for change. they are ruled by the moon.
