"Let's Break Up." 

Minjoo took two steps backwards and tried to take a deep breath after hearing the information that came from her Boyfriend of one year, She slowly bit her lip looking at the guy and found herself speechless, He must be joking right? Minjoo thought, she stood there infront of him like a statue not letting out anywords. Minjoo thought that the day was supposed to be happy, it was supposed to be filled with just laughter and warmness but why did it end based one sentence? she felt a hot tear o coming from her eye streaming down her cheeks when her lips formed into a small smile. 

"You're joking right? Sol, it's not funny." 

It has been a year when Minjoo finally gave her yes to Hansol when the guy surprised her asking for her sweet yes, Minjoo did like Hansol she thought, who wouldn't like a guy like him when he's been serving the school ever since their freshmen days, a guy who has straight As and definitely a boy next door, there isn't a moment that the boy never made her feel butterflies casually showing her around a proud boyfriend as they say, they made it a year so Minjoo was wondering the moment Hansol dropped the bomb, what happened to the both of them?

"Minjoo, I'm sorry this isn't working Let's break up." 

Minjoo bit her lip and stared at the ground, she was so close falling on her knees all she could do is close her eyes wanting to run away and never face Hansol again, she tightened the hold of the box that she was holding supposedly a wristwatch that she bought for their anniversary but Minjoo thought that It would probably end up in the dump sooner or later. Just like the famous saying All good things must come to an end Minjoo thought comforting herself, but she doesn't want it. Minjoo didn't dare to look up refusing to let Hansol see her crying face 

"Don't i have a say in this?" Minjoo softly murmured. Everything were okay a day ago or so Minjoo thought Hansol even said I love you the moment she slept the night before their Anniversary, It was all unfair Minjoo thought how could Hansol made such a quick decision that he didn't even let Minjoo know or even a head's up that their so called relationship was extinguised. 

"I'm sorry Minjoo but i think us parting will be the best for the both of us."

Hansol didn't made it longer and Minjoo couldn't say anything, she contacted Yujin who was her Bestfriend since childhood to pick her in the balcony where she is, the moment Yujin arrived she found her Bestfriend weeping, Yujin didn't bothered to ask because she somehow knew that it was between a fight or a break up. Immediately entangling Minjoo in a hug she cursed of Hansol patting Minjoo's back.

"What did he do this time?" Yujin sigh, Yujin has encoutered this kind of Minjoo for a few times but never really had the chance to confront Hansol as Minjoo was always against the idea of confronting Hansol as she said that she didn't want anymore reasons to fight so just letting the situation to be like that, Yujin trusted Hansol when she first asked Minjoo out and she was actually okay with it, Hansol has a reputation for being a boy next door or even a golden boy as some may say so Yujin was totally thrilled when she found out the boy confessed his feelings for her best friend.

Minjoo didn't say anything and cried but Yujin shoulder. 

"Yujin, we broke up." Minjoo muttered, It's been a solid 15 minutes since Yujin arrived and was quite awhile when Minjoo toned down, Yujin didn't know what to feel they were happy 3 days ago and were even on a date, People knew you as a person who has a short temper you first started to clench and Minjoo immediately entangled them because she knew what might happen if she doesnt stop you from getting into your emotions. 

"Yujin please don't beat him up." 

"Why not?! He broke up with you without any proper reason? How could you easily forgive him like that Minjoo." 

"I know Yujin but he made me happy in a span of a year and i wouldn't trade it for the world." Minjoo smiled.

Yujin sighed of what Minjoo had said, Yujin has always been there for Minjoo because she knows that the girl needs protection despite being older than her, even when she met Wonyoung. In terms of sending Minjoo home, bringing Minjoo her favorite lunch that her mom prepared for the both of them, Most of the time people would think that they were a couple but the both of them would immediately brush it off and she's thankful for Wonyoung to be so understanding for that. well, there was a time when Yujin had feelings for Minjoo it was the start of High school when Yujin first saw Minjoo in their uniform, growing up she thought of Minjoo as a no fun older-friend until she saw Minjoo in their High School Uniform and her heart actually skipped a beat as Minjoo looks pretty in her uniform, Got hit by puberty as they say but Yujin thought that it was an understatement because in her interpretation Minjoo got hit by a bus of Puberty, The moment they started High School Minjoo has been asked multiple times by people in their campus and surprisingly, Hansol was the one who broke the high standard wall that Minjoo built for herself.
