Demon in LoveHyejin Pov
Growing up not knowing who your parents are, is very saddening and difficult. There are so many things you don't know about yourself but those questions can only be answered if you knew who your parents were.
Yes, i grew up without my parents...
My grandma took me in when i was a baby. I never knew their names or who they used to be. My grandma found me outside her house one day so you can say, she isn't my real grandma. She found me and also a book inside a small basket. I heave out a sigh as i stared at the book in my hand. Nothing special about the book, just some fairytale genre storybook.
"Hyejin! Help me prepare the table." My grandma yelled from the kitchen. I put the book down on the sofa as i rushed to the kitchen.
"Aish, grandma you don't have to cook so much...." I said as i pouted my lips. She laughed as she pinched my cheeks while still wearing the gloves. I help her carry the dishes outside as i set the table. We sat across each other as i put my hands together waiting for her.
"Thank you for the meal!" I said, excitedly as i straightaway dig in to the food. My grandma slapped my hand as she glared at me.
"This brat, eat up." She teased as she laughed looking at my annoyed face. The both of us ate as the dining table was quiet.
"Grandma... Who am i?" I blurt out all of a sudden and she choked. She looked up at me and soften.
"I don't know honey, i found you outside with just your name written on the basket and that book." I sighed as my grandma hold my hand, caressing it.
"Doesn't mean you don't know who you are or where you are from means you can't continue your life. You're 21 years old now go out and have fun. You're no longer a highschool girl honey. Make your life a meaningful one, make yourself the person you want to be." My grandma said and i stood up as i hug her.
"You're really growing up so fast..."
"I'm still grandma's grandchild..."

'Its alright, its okay.'
I thought to myself. I walked forward as i head to the other neighbourhood. Compared to my neighbourhood, this place is quieter and the shops here aren't so lively unlike my neighbourhood. I continue walking as i looked around and
