Continuation of chapter 11

Chaeyeon POV

I was bothered of what I’ve heard and saw in that room. Mr. Shin is one of our family friend. My dad’s bestfriend since their childhood days. But I don’t get it what is the meaning of those phone call? I don’t want to conclude anything but after that I always check on him. I memorized his schedule but I can’t get a chance to sneak into his office.

And my time is not that long to solve the problem. Actually It’s my day off today I asked my dad if he could give me the blueprint of the company and the scheduled of the employee and of course that includes the higher ups. I was shocked at first because every higher ups door has a unique passcode. So basically I need a concrete plan to get inside but the biggest question is How in the world I can get in without getting caught.

After 3 hours of planning suddenly I heard a noise kruuuuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkkkkrrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuu

My stomach growl like a wolf. I look for my wall clock and it was 11 in the morning. I wake up at 5 I guess in the morning and I didn’t eat anything since then. Meaning I skip my breakfast and almost my lunch too. So I grab my keys and drive to the nearest fast-food. Before I go out I check myself in the mirror and put my cap.

I just ordered 1 bucket of chicken, fries and  sundae. I decided to take out my order because there's a lot of people inside and just eat in  my condo. I was about to park my car when I received a phone call from my mom.

"Chaeyeon~ah where are you?"

"I'm in the parking lot of my condo why mom?"

"It's your day off right did you eat your lunch?" before u can answer mom cut me

"I ahh......."

"No?"

"I ahh mom I........" why every mom are like this 

'Don't try to explain yourself go to your grandmas house we are here"

"But mom I'm busy" I need to finish my plan mom

"Lee Chaeyeon when I ask you to come you should be here" when someone says your fullname means they are in the verge of getting mad at you and I hate it when someone says my whole name.

I just sigh for defeat ofcourse mom always win "Okay mom "

After 1 hour of drive because of the traffic I arrived at my grandmas house . Before I go out I look for the food that I ordered my sundae is already melting and my stomach is growling also. So I just grab my take out food and ready myself for the rant that my mom will give me. Gracious heaven please have mercy on my ears. 

"Good afternoon Lady Chaeyeon" the maids and butlers greet me

"Good afternoon where are they?" I scan the living room because they are not here usually they are all here

"In the dinning area Ms. Lee" I think they are all waiting for me and I'm kinda feel guilty

"Thank you"

"Good afternoon fam" I greet them with my cheerful voice and I saw my mom eyeing the take out food hahaha 

"Chaeyeon your here" my grandma greet me first but before I could sit my mom interup me

"What's with the take out food?"

"I uuhh .....' the continuation of cutting my words 

"You know how to cook right?" she raise her brow after she said that

"It's my....." goodness mom let me finish first

"Breakfast? It's already 12 meaning it's lunch time"

"Because I'm..........." is this a quiz? guess the next word?

"You should not skip any meal eventhough you are busy" she's a mind reader guys

I look to grandma to help with my mom

"Grace stop it already I think taht was enough I bet she's hungry" I nod my head to agree to grandma thanks a lot grandma

"Chaeyeon~ah take a sit" my dad suddenly said you see if my mom is on fire my dad is quite all the time hahaha because she's the queen in the family.

"Thanks dad" I give him a slight smile

"Hi buddy Chaereyong~ah" I greet my 2 sisters then kiss them well that's a routine for us.

"Let's eat Chaeyeon after this go to the library I need to ask something" I didn't ask anything because I know exactly the reason why

"Yes grandma"

We silently eat I didn't say anything because my mom for sure will roast me hahahaha

"So did you find anything?" Should I tell her?

"I think yes"

"Then what are you waiting for?"

"I don't have a concrete evidence to that person I just know the basic and I actually planning it now"

"Remember Chaeyeon you only have 3 weeks to go before the company's anniversary"

"Yes grandma"

After that talk I just decided to sleep here tonight. We have this huge room just the 3 of us. I miss being with my siblings I need to enjoy this moment 3 weeks and everythig will be fine. I saw Chaeryeong sitting near the window reading a book.

"Hey" I tap her shoulder to notice me.
