Chapter 1: I feel like it's only fair to have a hanahaki version where Kong is the one who falls first, since I found an AU version where it was Arthit who fell first. The story is wonderful, very well written and actually made me cry because I didn't look ahead to see if the ending would be tragic. But just like I did on ao3, I'll add my own ending below:
Arthit's friends find out he also has hanahaki, but he doesn't hold out for very long before having surgery. The two still keep meeting however. Two years later, Kong even applies as an intern at Arthit's place of work without either of them realizing. They're not exactly close but they don't act like strangers and Arthit is a good senior (unlike their beginning in uni). Then, one day while they're out, separate, together or in a group, Kong almost gets hit by a car/vehicle. Seeing this, Arthit rushes in and saves him, but ends up in the hospital. Seeing his senior risk hiw own life for him and nearly die, Kong's feelings come back, and so do Arthit's when he wakes up. They talk and decide to give a relationship between them a try. People are against them being together considering what nearly happened, but after feelng the loss once, they don't want to let each other go. Unlike in Sotus S there's no big explosion about their relationship getting out at work and they exchange gears. Happy ending!
Dear author, don't be offended, I just really hate sad endings these days because they leave me depressed for days after I got too used to seeing fluff everywhere. Other than the ending, I loved the story (this extra ending is just for other people like me easily depressed by sad endings, hope y'all like it.)
