A/N as of 31/01/2019: oh god aaaaaaaaaaa hello!!!!! i'm so sorry this got uploaded late. i acquired mangekyou sharingan for 2 weeks-ish and i had to avoid gadgets for a while to make sure it didn't get worse (i cried blood at some point, it's pretty dramatic). then when i finally got better enough to work with ms words again, the plot ran away from me, all the while dramatically growing from 3k-ish to the size it is now. i blame it on the amount of chaetomi moments we got nowadays... i'm crying... they're so soft and absolutely have 100% of my heart. that said, happy reading! :)

Let's preface this by stating that Honda Hitomi is not, in fact, a cryptid—and neither are Miyawaki Sakura nor Yabuki Nako. We will revisit this issue later, preferably after Hitomi is done strangling the topic of regret. Which could mean never, or, when Hitomi is feeling especially optimistic, some time in an unforeseeable future; which is just never in a lot more words.
