"YAHHHH, I DON'T KNOW WHERE I AM, ALL I KNOW IS THAT I'M SURROUNDED BY BRIGHT SPACE LIGHTS"

The person on the other line slurred their words, obviously this was some sort of joke played by a bunch of prank callers.

Jiwoo ended it right there, there was no point in continuing that call, as she was about to put it down, it started ringing again, annoyed at who in their right mind would be calling at the middle of night. She looked at the ID and it was the same number that called her

"PLEASEEEEEE PICK MEEEEEE UPPPPPPPP, I'M IN A BRIGHT SPACE LIGHT ROOM, IN AN OBSERVATORY OF SORTS."

Jiwoo breathed in deeply and sighed, she plucked up her remaining strength to talk to the person on the other end

"Look, I don't know who you are or where you are and I think you're calling the wrong number so if you're planning to keep calling please stop it."

Silence lingered around the call, Jiwoo was about to press the end call to finally go back to the loving embrace of her bed

"I'm sorry Jiwoo, It's m-- It's Sooyoung"

Jiwoo was silent, her breathing audible, her first love... no, her first heartbreak called her

She has long since moved on from Sooyoung but something remained in her, their memories of when they were together still remained somewhere, in her heart

"Jiwoo... I'm sorry for bothering you at this hour and for calling you with an unknown number but can you please come to the place where we first met?"

Jiwoo hesitated, a part of her knows it will probably hurt seeing her again after years of separation, but another part just says to go to her, to meet her, to hug her and tell her that she missed her so much

Yeah, they ended on good terms and remained friends but they stopped updating each other about their lives, ever since Sooyoung found someone else that had the key to her heart

"Sooyoung unnie, why didn't you tell me you had a new number?"

"I got caught up with something else that I forgot to tell you."

"Oh..."

"I'm truly am sorry about it, but Jiwoo please come back to the place where we first met... is that ok with you?"

Jiwoo sighed, a feeling inside her told her that it would be a bad idea, that this could just hurt her in the end

"...Jiwoo?"

"...Yeah, I'm coming unnie"

Jiwoo arrived at the park and went near the edge where the stars shined brightly. It always amazes her so much everytime she saw the sky so bright and full of stars

She saw Sooyoung on a bench, looking up at the star-filled sky, Jiwoo knew she was entranced or else she would've have noticed sitting right next to her

Jiwoo lightly tapped her shoulder, startling Sooyoung from her sudden appearance

Sooyoung smiled at the shorter's appearance, happy that she arrived on such short notice

Jiwoo returned the smile, making her eyes form cresents, it looked real to Sooyoung but deep down Jiwoo it hurt to smile in front of her like this

"I'm sorry for bothering you at this very very very late hour of the night."

Jiwoo's eyes retuned to it's relaxed state and clapped with her lips pursed together, Sooyoung rolled her eyes while smiling at her action

"Anyways, the reason I brought you here is because I want to tell you something but you have to promise me that you won't freak out."

Sooyoung paused, gathering all her thoughts before speaking them out loud for Jiwoo to hear, straying her eyes away from her

Jiwoo held her hand, wordlessly reassuring Sooyoung that she won't freak out or whatever at what she was going to say to her

As Sooyoung took a deep breath, Her eyes finding it's way back to Jiwoo's brown orbs

"I'm engaged now Jiwoo, with the person I'm in love with."

Jiwoo felt her heart break into a million pieces, her eyes threatning to cry but she stayed strong, she wanted to show Sooyoung that she could handle this on her own

"Her name is Park Chaewon, and I wanna invite you to our ceremony."

The name Sooyoung gave hit her, because that was her baby cousin's latest heartbreak, it was over two years ago but wow... small world

Jiwoo smiled though, she didn't want Sooyoung to feel bad, she felt herself being broken and shattered into a million pieces, she felt happy for her but can't help but feel sad

Her eyes had threatened to cry but it burned trying to keep it at bay, she couldn't hold it back anymore, she finally let the tears flow down her face, her lip trembling as she let out a sob.

"Jiwoo? Is everything okay"

Jiwoo closed her eyes and nonchalantly wiped her tears from her face but it was just replaced, even though it hurt she forced herself to smile through the tears

"Yes, everything is fine Sooyoung, it's just that I'm happy that you decided to settle down with someone."

She sniffed, trying to calm herself, she looked down at the ground her hair falling at her sides concealing her face.

Jiwoo looked straight at Sooyoung, she made a smirk wanting to crack a joke but she just couldn't

"It's so funny to think that someone got you wrapped around their finger that you finally decide to settle down with them."

Jiwoo said with a laugh, Sooyoung giggled with her

"Yeah, I got whipped... BADLY"

Sooyoung emphasized on the last word earning a chuckle from Jiwoo

Jiwoo cupped her own face, muffling her sobs, her breathing turning uneven from all the crying, she felt something wrapped around her sides

Jiwoo lifted her face to see Sooyoung hugging her, she hugged her back knowing it could might as well be the last hug she will be able to recieve from Sooyoung

Jiwoo pushed herself away from Sooyoung, her tears coming to a stop but the tear in her heart wasn't going away, wiping her tears away she smiled at Sooyoung and raised her hands to show support at her decision. Jiwoo stood up and Sooyoung followed

"Sooyoung please, always keep her happy and don't forget to talk to each other if you have problems."

Jiwoo felt empty and void of anything, as she gave Sooyoung her last goodbye hug, she shouted at the top of lungs

"SOOYOUNG UNNIE FIGHTING!!!!!"

Jiwoo smiled her warmest smile ever to Sooyoung, she saw her blush, her smile was genuine knowing she made her smile since it was usually Sooyoung making her blush all the time.

Jiwoo waved goodbye and walked to her car wanting to finally end this night, her phone ringed as she was about to turn the engine on,

The caller ID lit up, showing the name "Babey Joojoo"

"Guess my baby cousin's heart got broken too."
