updates.

may 04 2019 - update page is up! this is a reminder that you can now apply twice, with one male character and one female character! the deadline on may 17 is tentative! if there are a lot of people who express interest and think they may not finish before this date, i'm willing to push it back. if there are less than ten accepted apps by this date, all the accepted characters will be chosen and the story will start. if there are more than ten accepted applicants before may 17, then i'll be selecting the intended amount of 7-10 characters from the accepted ones! if any of you need an extension, i'm willing to give an extra week and perhaps a few days on top of it! 

may 20 2019 -  the deadline has past and we are now in the extensions period! truth be told, i never thought i would be getting this many apps after the lil hiatus this story went through! and i just wanna say first and foremost that i'm extremely grateful for all the apps and interest! 
now because of the unexpected number of apps, i'll be choosing a certain amount of characters as the main cast. this will leave quite a lot of characters to be unchosen! so here comes the important question: in the event that your character does not get chosen, do i have permission to write your characters as part of the supporting cast?
mp! gaming cafe is the kind of story where it's the more the merrier. there are lots of characters to be encountered as it centers on the gaming community and the cafe. i don't want to write up too many ocs of my own when we all know the fun in applyfics is to see characters of different authors interact! that being said, i don't want to write them as supporting cast without asking for permission first! non-main characters can be regulars, (future) coworkers, etc. and even have some of their own development in the story. just so you guys have an idea!
and.. i think that's all i have to say! those with extensions, i'll be waiting until the end of this coming weekend for them apps to roll in! :D so once i wake up next monday morning (eastern standard time), i'll be working with the apps given to me by that time! depending on whether my indecisiveness gets the best of me or not, y'all can prepare to see them character profiles by approximately the end of next week! or earlier, depending on whether those given extensions send them in early (no pressure on you guys tho! pls, take advantage of the time given and send a character you're proud of! :D).

june 01 2019 -  and the cast is here! please believe me when i say that it was difficult to choose the characters that the story needed. i have so much love for all these babies and you all made me think! ; ;
if you don't see your character under the mp roster and are on a diff section, don't worry, it's because i've got plans for their entrance! character profiles will be moved around as the story progresses and there will be new profiles added as new characters get introduced! so all your babies' buddies, family, and super special someones will eventually be on the profile page in order of appearance!
alright, and with this cast announced, i will be working on the first chapter! thank you all so much for applying, and i'm so ready to take all these children through some wild times and a hella journey! 'til next time!
edit: just for some clarity because i'm a paranoid lil girl! the red section is the main cast, where the story will mainly focus on them/written in their povs. however!!! supporting characters (the sections that aren't red) will also have povs written when i see fit for story progression! :D
