That morning, with swollen eyes he looked at me with wide eyes. He was surprised when I greeted him a good morning while took his breakfast to his bed, “Si-siwon?!”
I smiled with a teasing glint on my eyes, “Hmm?”
“What are you doing here?” he asked while carefully brought his body to a sitting position. I beamed, “Prepare you breakfast, just to make sure that you will eat breakfast properly, and to make sure that you are fine.”
"Uh.." he groaned quietly and my heart squealed knowing that he was actually pouting. He took my sandwich, the one that has been prepared with tons of love, with shaking hand, “I-I’m fine.”
I nodded pretending to be unconvinced, “If you are fine, then you will eat the breakfast. Though I think it’s not that good.” I tried to sound dejected and acted like a sad puppy. I was sure he felt guilty, so he took a bite of my sandwich, “It’s good…” he whispered, and I beamed at him, “Means you will have to finish all of it.”
It was only three small bites before he stopped, “I-I’m f-full…”
I looked dejected, genuinely dejected because that tiny bite was not helping him to get any better, “So it’s not good then.”
“It-it’s good!” he cried. I smiled sweetly at him and ruffled his hair lightly, “Then finish it, okay? It’s for your own good. I’m sure you haven’t eat since we were back from the hospital yesterday, right?”
He gazed at me and sighed, “Just one sandwich.”
“And the hot milk.” I added. He wanted to protest but I smiled at him, knowing that any of his reason would be futile, so he nodded.
“You are not supposed to be here, Siwon. You are supposed to be at the office.” He said between his chews. I shook my head, “It’s fine.”
“I don’t need any pity.” He said and stopped eating.
I took a deep breath, “You supported me a lot during my rough week, so this is my payback.”
He stared at me as I was an alien, “You don’t need to pay anything back.”
I was desperate to make him understand how valuable he was, unconsciously I raised my voice, “I was so worried when you didn’t open your curtain for more than three days, I thought you were mad at me! And when I did finally see you, just what did I see? You were punched, your hair was pulled, you were being thrown away. Just a week ago, you don’t know how I feel like I’d better be dying too when I saw you struggled to breath on my arms. I’m worried, Jongwoon! Ever since we talk through the window glass, you have captivated me, and I finally realized how precious you are to me because I love you.”
I noticed him shook, “But... but I, I don’t have anything, anybody…”
I sat on the bed and embrace him carefully, afraid that this fragile man could be scattered if I was too rough, “Now you have me.”
“But… I, I-I was a… s-sl…”
I felt my throat tighten. I pushed him away slightly and forced him to look at my eyes, that was the first time I ever look at his eyes. His eyes are beautiful, a round chocolate brownish, “Look at my eyes and tell me if you find any lie. I want to tell you the truth, you are not a .” He was ; he definitely wasn’t a .
“Do you trust me?” I asked him warily. He pulled me closer, so I cuddle him once again, he nodded and cried, “Oh my dearest Jongwoon, please don
