Chapter 5

Right before I walked in, a policeman gripped my shoulder. I saw there are three policemen behind me and I let them took control of the situation. They barged in, “Police, hands up!” and my heart broke when I saw dried blood around Jongwoon’s lips and eyes, and he looked disheveled. With a quick attempt, without hurting anybody, the policemen took hold of the guy who tried resisting. I ran towards Jongwoon and carefully embrace him, “You are safe, and you will be okay.” But Jongwoon shoved me lightly with I assumed, the energy he had left. I saw his facial lines clearly now, after so many months seeing him through the window glass. He looks adorable, though his cheeks were red due to the slaps, his eyes were puffy due to the nonstop crying, and his small lips were dry and had lost it plumpness as well as its healthy color.   “Thank you, Siwon.” He said with raspy voice.
