“What’s that again?” Jisoo asked, browsing her phone while she’s already in front of Dahyun to order

“You mean Iced Americano?” “You can now order it every Wednesday. Granted by her” pointing to Jennie

“No,” She wiggles her index finger “Here it is, Milk Tea of Brevery”

“Milk tea?” Dahyun raised a brow 

“Aish! You never let me order anything” huffed her “Don’t act like there isn’t. Solji already told me about it and I already had the taste of it”

“But …”

“Ugh,” Jisoo grumbles “Iced shaken hibiscus tea with mint syrup”

“Weird order, but ok. If you say so” 

“I never knew you’re into tea too” Jennie quipped in “For a while I thought you’re addicted to Iced Americano”

“Well, that’s true” nodded her “I agree, however, Heeyeon gave Solji a superb drink”

“Heeyeon?”

“Uh … Hani” 

“Ahh!” Jennie snapped her fingers “And you liked it? But Hani is weird. She likes everything salty”

“Does that make me weird too?”

“Aren’t you?”

Jisoo scoffed “But you’re weird too” then smirked “Why did you waive me every Wednesday”

“Because our reputation is going down the drain with you trying to order it countless times and us declining you countless times”

“Something is still fishy” She pressed her hands on the counter, zooming her face into Jennie’s, and it was really close like the tip of their nose almost touched

“You’re just weird!” Huffed Jennie, turning her back, heading to the serving section

“Hmm, just the way I liked it” Jisoo remarked after taking a sip “Thank you guys” then winked, Jennie froze on her spot because Jisoo’s wink was directed to her

“Best barista ever” Or not “Just remember that I’m the best barista here, I, Lalisa Manoban”

Momo coughed

“That’s more I like it!” Jisoo and momo shared a high five, making Lisa to glare at them

“Momo at espresso! It was me who was preparing your iced americano’s before! All of it. ALL OF IT!” She stressed it out

“No wonder I got tired of it already” 

“Ugh!!!”

“Anyway, I heard that Chaeyoung isn’t getting married. You lied to me! Blatantly!” Lisa confronted Jisoo at the counter, thankfully the shop wasn’t bustling with people, they believed it was because of the newly opened café at the next block. Jennie went to the pantry so she wouldn’t be scolded for gossiping during work hours

“First of all, I never said so” Jisoo took another sip, making way for the others to collect their orders to momo “Secondly, You eavesdropped on me”

“But why were you so down that day? And where even is she?”

“I don’t know, everything is confusing to me lately” She answered seriously, and Lisa knows something is going on between the two “With her back here, it is just proving my dark thoughts right and I hate it”

“It’s the same Chaeyoung” Lisa sullenly answered “Even though she wasn’t the same person back then, I understand. Everything changes, so I should be okay with her change, right?”

“Right!” Nodded Jisoo “You look ugly when you’re solemn” 

“Ugh, I could never talk to you properly”

“Is everything manageable?” Momo asked, leaning on the counter because it’s lisa’s call to prepare the order 

“Barely, but we’ll get there, I’ll get there” 

“You know I’m one call away, right?”

“No you’re not. You’re always late for practice” She shook her head sniggering “It wouldn’t be too long that you’d be permanent here because you won’t be working for YG Ent.”

“Baka”

“Hehe” She raised a finger heart “Let’s drink this Friday” then waved her goodbye

“Oh? If this isn’t the super strict supervisor at Brevery” Jisoo stated, standing beside Jennie who’s sitting at the park’s bench with a frown “Do you know that you look weird that way”

“I’m not in the mood, go away”

“Did you know that if you look like that for a long time, you could never change it back? Like, you’d be like that even if you’re happy” Jisoo mimicked, Jennie laughed

Her heart fluttered again.

Her stomach is filled with butterflies again.

How could someone make her feel this way? 

How could time stop? It doesn’t stop for anyone.

Jennie was filled with thoughts before she could realize it “Stop doing that” Stop it, I am falling deeper and deeper for you, would you be there to catch me when I fall? Was what she meant to say, but for Jisoo, it meant stop mimicking, so she mimicked a sad yet funny face far too long that Jennie’s heart was pounding so fast and falling too deep in every second that they share
