When learning to swim there has to be patience and your able to do the little things. Learn how to float on your back, keeping your waist up and most of all keeping your head above the surface when you tread water.

It's not the most fun thing to do when learning how to tread. It's actually tiring when moving your arms and legs under the surface back and forth like water weights. It's also a great way to warm up the muscles when you're about to swim for a race.

Tzuyu had a hard time keeping her head up when she wasn't able to touch the floor of the pool. She splashed around like person who was trying but failing. She held her arms up hoping to get rescued by her boyfriend who happened to be around her only watching as she made it seem dramatic than it should be.

She continued to choke and gasp on the chlorine water going into her system not enjoying the taste as she struggled trying to be above the surface. The heavy pressure of the water was winning the battle and it only made Tzuyu feel weak and useless.

She kicked her legs and arms around hoping to get to the floor to stand properly but she was doing the opposite of moving deeper of the water and not being able to touch the floor.

She could feel herself panicking not being able to do anything like she hoped.

This is hopeless!

I'm going to die!

Tzuyu had no idea where Hwiyoung was and her death would be on him.

If I die!

I'll haunt him for life!

Tzuyu finally felt a pull going back when she felt an arm around her waist and before she knew it, she was touching the bottom of the floor which was probably three feet and coughing out the water she had swallowed. She moved the water out of her face and her hair, blinking a few times to see Hwiyoung standing in front of her shirtless only in his swim trunks with his long brown hair pushed back.

She had forgotten how attractive he could be with simple things that wasn't intentional. She snapped out of the distraction and pushed Hwiyoung back making him take a step back. "Where were you? Didn't you see me having a hard time!"

Hwiyoung couldn't help but chuckle showing his gummy smile that made her weak in the knees and put his hands on his sides. "You were doing fine treading water. You're the one who makes its dramatic as if you're drowning to death."

Tzuyu rolled her eyes scoffing. "By making me face my fear this way?"

"Baby steps Princess. Not everything will happen with the snap of your fingers." He went towards her and kissed the top of her head. "Here, let's try something else. Lay on your back and I'll help you float."

At first Tzuyu began to glare not wanting to do it but he leaned forward giving her a kiss on her cheek making her smile automatically. "Fine, don't let me sink."

"Never Princess."

Tzuyu slowly moved backwards and she felt one hand on her shoulders and another just above her . "Hands!"

Hwiyoung chuckled, nodding his head. "I know. Trust me ok?"

Tzuyu looked up at the sky seeing the clouds float by showing the blue sky for her. She could feel the water slowly go into her ears giving it a tickle. She moved up quickly not liking it and clung onto Hwiyoung.

"You're fine." He said holding onto her. "Come on, let's try again."

She sighed doing the same as before and laid back in the water with Hwiyoung's help. He moved her around slowly by walking in a circle with him in his hands. But despite seeing her try to face her fear of water, he couldn't help but to be stunned on how she looked in her one piece swimsuit.

When she had changed in his bathroom, he flushed bright red and threw her one of his shirts to put on. Hwiyoung was home alone since his parents were in China doing business like always. He had to control himself and not get carried away.

He and Tzuyu have only been together for four months and they have been the best. He had spoiled her a bit and she has made him happy. He showered her with love and went on dates but they would get ruined by his friends.

So the only time he could get her alone was in his home.

When Tzuyu had her arms out and her eyes closed, Hwiyoung smirked and started walking backwards a bit.

I hope I don't die for this.

He stopped when he could no longer touch the floor of the pool and slowly let go of Tzuyu who was floating upward. "Remember keep your waist up and relax."

Tzuyu heard his voice muffled due to the water in her ears but she followed his instructions and kept her waist up. She hummed. "Am I doing it right?"

Hwiyoung completely let go of her and was at her side just in case she panicked. "You're doing great."

Tzuyu felt relaxed for that minute or two but then suddenly felt anxious. She opened her eyes and felt her body floating down causing her to panic and saw Hwiyoung on the side. "Hwi-"

He quickly went to her and grabbed her arm before wrapping one around her waist. "What happened? You were doing just fine."

Tzuyu gasped holding onto Hwiyoung as he brought her to touch the floor and when she did, she pushed him as hard as she could away from her. "WHY DO YOU KEEP LETTING GO!"

Hwiyoung chuckled putting his hands up. "You need to learn how to do things on your own at some point."

Tzuyu glared at him and started walking towards the steps to get out. "Yeah well, I'm not ready to do it on my own. It's the first day Hwiyoung, you can't expect me to learn it with the snap of my fingers."

Hwiyoung opened his mouth but she used his own words against her. "Ok fine. But you can't be scared of the water forever, you'll never overcome your fear."

Tzuyu rolled her eyes. "I happen to be just fine until you decided to shake it up."

"Me?" Hwiyoung swam towards her and pulled on her wrist making her turn to face him." You're the one thinking the worst in learning how to swim. You keep thinking negative you'll never get over it."

Tzuyu felt her eye twitch and knew she didn't like his remark. "I'm the problem?"

"Yeah you are." Hwiyoung automatically responded and let go of her wrist. "I'm only trying to help."

"Then let me help you get rid of the problem." Tzuyu got out of the pool grabbed the towel and went inside the house. She was greeted by the cool air the moment she went inside and went up the stairs getting her things and changing. She left the towel in the bathroom and quickly went down the stairs opening the door and shutting it behind her. She curled her hands turning them into a fists making her nails dig into the palm of her hand. She stomped away from her boyfriend's home without looking back.

I can't believe he said that.

I'm the problem?

Tzuyu hissed trying to calm herself but it didn't help the first few minutes. She needed to distract herself but nothing came to mind. She kept walking until she reached the bus stop and waited on the bench with her damp hair slowly drying.

Hwiyoung had stayed in the pool another hour until he got out and went inside the house going to the kitchen to get some water to quince his thirst. He put his glass of water down and looked towards the stairs.

He sighed feeling bad about earlier.

It wasn't her fault.

It was his.

He should've known better than to blame someone else for their own fear. He lost his temper and patience for that moment and knew he shouldn't have. He sighed moving his way to the stairs. He took in a few deep breaths and when he reached his room, the door was open. He walked in and saw the bathroom door open as well.

"Tzuyu?"

He looked around the room and noticed her things were gone. He threw his head back and groaned.

"Damn it."

He shook his head and threw the towel angrily on the floor before he sat on his chair by the desk. His girlfriend wasn't just upset, he hurt her feelings and made her leave. In that moment, he wished he had followed Tzuyu the moment she got out of the pool and made th
